How to retrieve/display attachment from PM Notifications???

Hi,
We use PM notifications and want to be able to provide a web search facility of notifications and indicate if a notification has attachments stored against it, if so then the user has the option to display the attachments in a new browser session.
How do I locate the attachments for a particular notification?
How do I retrieve the attachment for displaying in a browser?

IP_RWMOD is not a valid import field.
Thereare these other 2 import fields:
IP_NO_COMMIT
IP_POPUP
I left them blank and the FM still worked, so not sure if I need to enter anything here.
Anyhow FM works perfect within SAP...but as I mentioned I need it for a standard web application.
<b>Will the "Service: Attachement list" dialog work outside SAP??</b> I have my doubts about it as it would be the perfect solution, ie. too good to be true when it comes to integrating with SAP.
If my hunch is right then back to square one, how else can I retrieve these attachments and have the ability to view each of the attachments in a web browser.

How do I display data from Multiple Queries in a spreadsheet?

I am running Oracle forms 10g as a kicker to export a report (rdf 10.1.2.0.2) to PDF or Excel Spreadsheet - User's choice.
Doesn't matter if I have desformat = SPREADSHEET, DELIMITEDDATA, or DELIMITED; I still get only the first query displayed when I run in spreadsheet format.
How do I display data from Multiple Queries in a spreadsheet? Is this possible?

In short: you need to use ActiveX (the RGT also uses ActiveX under the hood)!

I didn't seen any other answers but here's how it's been done previously in our organization for a custom BAPI. In this example, we give material and language to return the part description. It's not specific to your project but may give you ideas..

How to retrieve ascx file from the Template folder in SharePoint2013
My issue is, I have WSP only so I changed into zip and got my all web parts and also one dll file after that decrypted dll and got some C# code
mixing with some system generated code but not ascx file that is for front-end part. So my question is how we can retrieve full flash solution if not, at least ascx files So if we were on SharePoint 2010 we could have got those file from __Template__
folder but It’s on SharePoint 2013 and not able to get ascx.
If we can do so, than will be easy to get the task to be done
Suggestions would highly be appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

Hi Amit,
you can not move specific changes from Dev to production.
but you can follow this process to make your workflow as it is as in Dev:
Create a new workflow on the new list in Product.
Create at least one step, one condition and one action in this workflow.
1. In Dev server open your .xomal file as XML and copy the entire contents.
2.In Production server Open your .xoml file as XML and Paste the entire contents
3. repeat this operation for the xoml.rules file
4.Double click the .xoml file for the new workflow to open the workflow in the Workflow Designer and click Check Workflow to verify no errors and then click Finish to ensure the workflow is saved.
Whenever you need to make changes apply the same.

Simply cast the servlet request provided by the FacesContext:

Normally one would open the attachment in the appropriate application (e.g., MS Word for a Word document, Preview for a PDF, etc.) and use that application to do the printing.

I´m actually a PHP guy and can´t provide any ASP
programming tip, but I use to solve this scenario like this ::
create a recordset
(SELECT firstname, lastname FROM user_table WHERE user_id =...
session_id or whatever), and then display the user´s
"dynamic data" based on what´s returned from the recordset.
You certainly might also be able to match the recordset against the
submitted email address -- in this case the query should use the
"WHERE user_email = form variable" condition

I need your advise / help:
I added name4 in shiptodetails1.jsp for new ship-to address when ordering. This name4 can be entered, saved to backend and display before submit rder. but when dispaly the created order, the name4 data is not shown on View Ship-to party Address page. Seems address.getName4() is not enough, I need to modify some method to retrieve the data from backend address object. Can anyone guide me what and how to enhance forretrieving name4 data from backend, so it can display on View Ship-to Address?

I hope you already found the solution but here some more detail.
I am working on ISA with ECC so I do not have an access to CRM system.
As you are facing problem to retrieve data from back-end while displaying it on order status page you can debug code of class DetailStrategyR3.class.
There is a method fillDocument this method call RFC BAPI_ISAORDER_GETDETAILEDLIST. This RFC actually read Order related data from backend and fill the SalesDocument object. Method fillDocument also call other methods like fillShipTo.
During debug in NWDS you can see address data and check the values of Address object. If Name3 or Name4 and nickName contains no value then you can't get it on JSP page because it is not coming from the RFC.
So I suggest you should first check DetailStrategyR3.class as it is preparing Document for display purpose. When you open any order on orderstatusdetail page this class comes in Action and prepare SalesDocumet with all necessary information including Ship to Address of that order. So If here you do not get value in Name3, Name4 or Nickname then you have to do some custom development
Check Below code while debug in NWDS.

Check shipTo object in "Variable" window while debugging. Here you will get address object and can see all the variable value like FirstName, LastName, Name1, NAme2, Name3...NickName etc..... If no value in Name3, Name4 then you will not get on Page.
I hope this will help you to understand why Name3-Name4-Nickname does not have a Value though you have provided while creating an order.

I'm pretty new to APEX. I try to retrieve two values from a table using a LOV. I have a table named DEBIT with then columns SITE, NAME and KEY
I want to display NAME to the user in a list. When the user select an item from the list, I want to retrieve the data of the SITE and KEY column of this item in order to launch an SQL command based on this two values.
How to retrieve thes two values whant the user chooses an item from the list ?

From what I understood about your requirement, you want a 'select list with submit' which displays "NAME" and based on the value selected, you want to get the corresponding values for "SITE" and "KEY" from the table.
<b>Step 1: Create a select list with submit, say P1_MYSELECT </b><br><br>
Use something like this in the dynamic list of values for the select list: <br>
SELECT NAME display_value, NAME return_value
FROM DEBIT<br><br>
<b>Step 2: Create a page process of type PL/SQL block. Also create 2 hidden items P1_KEY and P1_SITE. </b><br><br>
In the PL/sQL, write something like:
DECLARE
v_key DEBIT.KEY%TYPE;
v_site DEBIT.SITE%TYPE;
CURSOR v_cur_myvals IS
          SELECT KEY, SITE
          FROM DEBIT
          WHERE NAME = :P1_MYSELECT;
BEGIN
OPEN v_cur_myvals;
LOOP
          FETCH v_cur_myvals
          INTO v_key,v_site;
          EXIT WHEN v_cur_myvals%NOTFOUND;
:P1_KEY := v_key;

Then you can use these values for whatever purpose you need to.

How to retrieve data from SAP R/3 System to my third party software. I will make my query little bit more clear. There is a list of assets entered and stored in the SAP system. For example 3 mobile phones.
1) Mobile 1- Nokia
2) Mobile 2 - Samsung
3) Mobile 3 u2013 Sony
Now think I do not know what all assets is there. I have to retrieve the data and get it on my third party software. Just display the list of assets. Lets say SAP XI is also there. Now how will I map it and get the details.
Please give me step by step method.
N.B: Just to read the data from SAP database.

Hi,
You can use RFC or ABAP Proxy to make synchronous call with SAP.
Under RFC or ABAP Proxy Program you can get the data from SAP tables. Direct access to SAP Database is not preferrable even if its possible.
The better way to go for RFC or PROXY.
You will send the request from Third party system and the it will be as input parameters from RFC/ Proxy it will response based on it.
