How to retrieve unchecked default remind value in exchange web service

I can get the default remind minutes value from user configuration dictionary property ('piRemindDefault'). How do I get the value from EWS if I uncheck the Default reminder checkbox in outlook calendar option. Thanks.
The 'piRemindDefault' properity always return value even I unchecked the 'Default Reminders:' checkbox in calendar option.

The piRemindDefault is just the default reminder period (which is 15 minutes by default) so even when you untick reminders its not going to change the value. You looking at the Calendar Config object to get the reminders option you need to look at the OWA.UserOptions
config object in the root of Mailbox eg

I am trying to use ExtendedPropertyType and put in UpdaterItemType as in this code as below. Although it is not updating the Owner

I have tried it both by Propertyname and PropertyID. Although new custom property's canbe
added but to change an existing one like 'Owner' ? Would this be the right method.
2. And Is ProprertyID a fixed value as 0x811f or does it need to be calculated.

how to retrieve a page item value in another page?
say P55_COURSES_TO_EVALUATE is my page item name and it is a select list.Based on the value selected,in the next page i shd show details related to the selected value and for this i need P55_COURSES_TO_EVALUATE value in the next page.How Do I get it?When I try to retrieve the values it simply returns nothing.
Any pointers would be really helpful.

If you set value to item P55_COURSES_TO_EVALUATE and submit page, value is saved to session state.
Then you can use that item in any page like
:P55_COURSES_TO_EVALUATEYou can not access page value in javascript/jQuery from other pages like

document.getElementbyID('P55_COURSES_TO_EVALUATE')

Mapping input values for a web service connection to a range of cells

I've created a web service connection in Xcelsius data manager. My web service requires an array of integer as input parameter. How do I map input values for a web service connection to read from a range of cells in the spreadsheet, e.g. $A$2:$A$20, in similar way of mapping output values to write to a range of cells in the spreadsheet?
For output values of the web service, I can specify to map the output values to write to a range of cells. However, it doesn't seem to work for reading the input values.
I can map input values for each node to a single cell, e.g. $A$2, in the spreadsheet. However, when I set the "Read From" field to a range of cells, e.g. $A$2:$A$20, it only reads in the first value in the range.
Is there any way that we can do this mapping for input values as we do for output values?

There is a workaround for that...
Example:
My Webservice accepts input data range in a specific format with " :" symbol, i.e. 072008:082008
Now what i do is
A1 = 072008
A2 = 082008
A3 = CONCATENATE(A1,":",A2)
so A3 = 072008:082008
Now i map the input value in web service to cell A3
P.S have 2 input box components and map it to cells A1 and A2, i.e you are giving users an option to enter the range of values...then web service will capture the range and refreshes data with the range of values user entered.

I am following this article below which helpfully explains how to create a proxy. So far so good. I have been able to create a proxy. However, the article only describes how to build a proxy.

Any help or any other document that explains how to use a deployable proxy to consume a web service will be helpful.

How To Retrieve an Object's Value Defined Using c:set ... Tag?

I have the value of a variable defined in JSP#1 (JSP#1 is not a form) using JSTL tag:
<c:set var="id" value="${articleForm.article}" scope="session"/>Now, I have an object 'id' in the session scope. The object 'id' and all the information, which are defined in JSP#1, are forwarded to JSP#2.
JSP#2 is a form. But, the 'id' is not used in JSP#2.
JSP#2 has a submit button and then, a servlet takes over the control after that button is clicked. All the text fields in JSP#2 together with the object 'id' are forwarded to this servlet.
I have two questions:
1. I should put this object 'id' in a request scope or a session scope? Currently, it is in a session scope.
2. How to retrieve the value of this object 'id' in this servlet? (I do not want to print the value out. I want to retrieve the value and store it in a database.)

I'm not sure you understand the concept of a session object.
Java objects stay on the server. There is no transmission between the web browser and the client.
The scope just sets how long the server "remembers" that variable.
request scope - only lasts one request. Once a web page is returned to the client, the server forgets all request variables.
session scope - lasts for one user - across multiple requests/web pages.

You might have to do it like this:
int articleID = Integer.parseInt( (String)session.getAttribute("id"));
The Integer.parseInt method takes a String as a parameter - while session.getAttribute() returns an Object.
This code will work if the object stored in the session is a String.
The object stored in the session is ${articleForm.article} What type does articletForm.getArticle() return? That is the type you need to cast it to when retrieving it from the session.

How to Change the default Search value for Field Role?

I went through numerous threads on how to default the search value , but does not help for my issue. Hence im posting this new thread. Please provide your suggestions on how to achieve this.
For the Ship-to party field (in item detail ) on webui when i do a F4 help i get the pop up with various search criteria and for the field Role the default value is "Ship-to party". which is visible. we need to change this default value to Prospect which is available in drop down.
The attribute is STRUCT.ROLE and view BP_HEAD_SEARCH/SearchHelp . The method GET_DQUERY_VALUEHELPS from the context node class is called to fill the value help for this attribute, but i dont understand how the ship-to party is filled as default. There is no code in this method to default the value.
The generic GET_V_S_STRUCT method also does not default the Ship-to party on this field.
I want to understand how this Ship-to party is filled by default and how can i change this to prospect..

We had a same requirement of defaulting Sales org and division in search criteria for a specific value.
this can be doen by redefining "DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT" method in IMPL class for the respective view.
