How to run analyze schema

Hi Guys .
Please how do you RUN analyze schema or database or table?
I have ran gather all schema statistics and now my told to run analyze schema by my boss .. How do you do this please?
Platform is 11.5.9

Look at the SQL Area report for your database. If you see more than maybe 1 SYS query in the top ten, you need to gather stats for SYS as well (9i and above).

I want to change DataSource, it means the report will be load and change connection at run time (using CRJ SDK) and i want to change the SCHEMA.Tablename in CommandTable in report.
I also use the parameter to do it, but it can not be at run time, just correct when designing.

Though you can initiate the binary from your client side but for the file creation, there is no other way but to store it on the server side. So your best bet would be to get some space free on the server side of yours.

Hi,
I built berkeley DB 4.4.20 and use it from Jbuilder2005, I noticed that tha size of Jbuilderw.exe consumes about 96MB of memory and the size of javaw.exe consumes (in my application) about 63MB. so I thought that if I load the jdk1.4 only ( by running my code from the command line) this will save memory because not all compenents of Jbuilder will be loaded into memory. to do so, I copied the directory jdk1.4 from inside jbuilder2005 and put it on c:\, then I build berkeley DB using visaul c++ 6.0 and filled the following pathes in the include directory(tools-->options->directories)
c:\jdk1.4\include
c:\jdk1.4\include\win32
and in the executable files directories I added the following path:
c:\jdk1.4\bin
then I set the classpath from inside windows (server2003), and I set the path as well but when I run the java class from the command line, I recieved message like "the packege com.sleepycat.db " not exist

How to Build A Schema File

I have Java 5, JAXP 1.3, and properties file that my application uses to get its settings from. What I would like to do now is have my application validate its configuration file when it starts, before it uses any of the data in the file.
XML validation sounds like what I need, but I have never used it before. This document makes it look simple to do validation, but does not include any information on how to create a schema ( aka constraints ) file to use in the validation process.
I am still search for instructions on how to do this, but would appreciate any advice or links to resources that would help me get validation up and running in my application.

What do you mean by a LiveCycle schema file. Schemas are not an Adobe technology. We can use a schema do design a form but we just rely on the fact the schema file is valid.

Sql slow afterweekly STATS-JOB,then run analyze table it is fast again

Oracle R11.2.0.2 :
I hade some slow sql / reports and found the effect,
that the sql is slow obvious after the weekend ,
when STATS - JOB BSLN_MAINTAIN_STATS_JOB and other Jobs were running weekly on SYS.
I did run dbms_stats.GATHER_TABLE_STATS on schema
it doesn't help.
But when
run ANALYZE TABLE afterwards on only one or two tables of the schema
the sql / reports performance is well and fast.
in the dba_tables I can see the last_analyze - date
and in GLOBAL_STATS = NO ( when Table runs with ANALYZE ),
GLOBAL_STATS = YES( when Table runs with STATS )
what does the ANALYZE TABLE command doing good and let my sql run well and fast,
while dbms_stats.GATHER_TABLE_STATS
seems not work well in this situation ?

Do you also have collected system stats?
But when

The default workspace for the user is set as blanks. I would like to set it to be the default workspace as per the current logged in user.

The subject of the post is "How to create Default Schema from within the application".
But your question asks how to set the "default workspace" for a newly created user.
Those are different questions and not the ones I think you need answered.
Let me answer this question "How can you set the default schema for an account when creating the account and set it to the same value used for the default schema attribute of the administrator account used to authenticate to the currently running application?".
In the apex_util.create_user call use named parameter notation and fetch the information about the currently logged-in user first, e.g.,declare

The CMSDK uses the oci8 interface to connect to the database. The classes12.jar file has to correspond to the appropriate ocijdbc9.dll file; and the ocijdbc9.dll file is dependent on about 26 other DLLs beginning with oci*.dll and ora*.dll.
I've found that the 10.1.0 and 9.2.0 database client releases contain the wrong oci*.dll family (at least for JDeveloper) and I use the 9.0.4 AS Client tree in my path when I work with CMSDK.
My quick test is to see if I can connect to my database using JDeveloper Connect DBMS with the oci8 connection method. This seems to put out some reasonable error messages explaining why it failed, e.g. it tells you that it couldn't find the right DLL dependency.

I know this doesn't help you much, but, I think you have to see if your Mac pro does audio out via HDMI. I don't even know if mine does via DVI. I think it may have to do with the adapter. Try going into Audio MIDI and setting the digital out to multichannel
and using the toslink cable for now. Lemme see...apparently DVI does not carry audio at all. Hm. apparently monoprice could be helpful? If I understand what you're saying correctly: you want to take DVI and multichannel audio via the Toslink and have it all go out over HDMI, right?
