How to run eCATT in dialog mode(foreground) without user interaction(Enter)

Hi,
As part of performance testing using eCATT we want to execute a test script in dialog mode(foreground) without user interaction like pressing enter at end of each screen. The reason behind this is we want to run a test script 1000 times in dialog mode to analyze the performance of that particular transaction code. Hence its not practical to keep pressing enter at end of each screen. We do not want to execute this in background as that does not simulate the real time transaction processing and give the exact performance analysis.
We have a test script with VA01 recording and are able to execute it perfectly in background as well as foreground (by pressing enter at end of each screen).
I would like to know if there are any settings to be made to execute the test script in dialog mode without pressing enter. I have referred the below link which has not solved my purpose.

I never used this transaction before, but my approach would be as below. You may want to try and let me know how it works.
Before running this script from ST30, first try to run from SECATT for one iteration to make sure the script and target system RFCs are working. Then try again in ST30. Still if you have the issue, ask your basis to take a look when you kick off from ST30 in the target system whether ST30 were able to successfully make the RFC call to that system.

How to run batch programs using SUBMIT command without any interaction need

Hello ABAP gurus,
I have created a batch program in SE38 which calls many other SE38 Programs (Reports).
I have used the command SUBMIT to call the sub programs. There are about 15 sub programs that this main batch program is calling.
It works fine, but after calling each subprogram it stops and I have to manually click on 'Back Button' in green on the sap screen to run the next program in the list. Like this I have to do 15 times to run all the programs in the batch.
Is there a way to avoid this manual intervention and make the program run all the sub programs on its own.
Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

Yes I am using the option "AND RETURN". So it is coming out of each sub program, and it is at this stage it waits for me to click on 'backward green arrow' to continue to the next.

How to set file name and destination folder without user interaction

how can I set the file name and destination folder to generate a pdf file like "c:\myfolder\document.pdf" in this folder automatically.
Is there a tag in .joboptions ?
Goal: User click print button. In the background a pdf will be generated in e.g. "C:\myfolder\document.pdf".
that`s it.
I know that the query dialog for save as can be turned off. But the file name depends on the application.

consider i have streaming bits of data as input who length varies each time. I need to select 11 bits at a time and apply (15,11) hamming coding for the inputs till the input is stopped.
I have designed the hamming encoding and decoding block. I need a methodology to select 11 bits at a time from the input and provide to the hamming encoder.
eg: if input is 1100 bits, output must be 1500 bits.
I have uploaded the encoder and the decoder part. Please suggest me the design to read the input and append the output.

what kind of report you want to execute? the report is Executable Report or Modulepool prog. ??
if it is a executable program so when u execute (F8) from SE38 when u find the selection-screen in the menu bar ->Program ->Execute in Background( F9) option exits there u can schedule your report in Background or else use toce SM36 ( Define Background Job).
Why you want to run it in background with transaction code if you have this options?

How to print a pdf without user interaction (With C#)

My boss assigned me a task that to get the ImagePreview of 1st page of PDF.
My thought is to print the 1st page of PDF to file(virtual print to file), and get the image source, but there comes the problem:
How can print a pdf without user interaction(With C#),question are these:
1. I can use the ShellExcute but cannot assign the destination of output file.
2. User interface is unwanted, I don't want show anyone the Acrobat Reader interface who click the file just want to get a preview.
3. No place to put those parameters in.
This problem confused me a lot of days, I wish someone can give some hints.

LV doesn't have any sort of Startup folder as we are a little concerned
about the security issues this brings about. You can specify VIs on the
command line for LV to open. And VIs can be set to run when opened.
Combining these features, you wind up using the system's Startup folder,
placing either a batch file or a shortcut to LV with the command line
options added to list out the VIs, and finally, set the VI properties
so
that the VIs run when opened.

What exactly are you trying to do, since the api's don't provide an offline mode just a CPU or C++ AMP implementation of the calculations needed.

How to limit the max dialog no that one user can use at the same time?

I meet one performance problem that one user can open 6 sessions in the GUI and he/she can run 6 reports at the same time witch could occupy 6 dialogs in the sap R/3 instance. It makes poor performance for other users.
Would you pls tell me how to limit the no. of sessions one user can create at the same time or how to limit the no. of dialogs one user can occupy at the same time?

rdisp/rfc_use_quotas 1
rdisp/rfc_max_own_used_wp 20 (means: 20%)

We can reserve DIA W.P by giving value to the parameter :- rdisp/rfc_min_wait_dia_wp=1(default)
that have to necessarily remain free for other users.
This parameter is used to reserve a number of dialog work processes for Dailog mode.
For eg. If 10 dialog w.p. are configured for the instance(rdsip/wp_no_dia=10) and the parameter rdisp/rfc_min_wait_dia_wp=3 is set,parallel RFC's can occupy a maximum of 7 DIA W.P.3 DAI W.P. always remain free for dialog mode.
But now the question is how we assign/restrict this free dialog w.p. to the specific user.

In javascript, how do I open a dialog so that the user can input the value of a variable?

I'm working on a script that will be used for many images, all of them using the same format (size of the image, layer layout, etc).
All of these images will have a layer of text, and what I want is to have the script modify the horizontal length of the text layer (horizontal percentage scale), shrinking it so that all of the text appears on-screen, in case there's too much of it.
But the text will vary from image to image, and what I want is for the script to display a dialog box were the user can input the text that will be put on the text layer and scaled down.
Can this be done?

If you want the user to both enter then fit the text while your script is running, here is one way to do that.

    Now, I am developing an automation plugin, and want to create a modal dialog, which I still can interact with document when the dialog is show.
    I find photoshop has some modal dialog have this function, such as the dialog of Customize Proof Condition and the dialog of Color Settings. Are these dialogs not modal dialog?

The whole point of a modal dialog is that you cannot interact with other things while it is active.
And Photoshop does not support plugins accessing the rest of Photoshop while any plugin UI is active.
