Send DOC Messages to SAP

I have a text file which contains lots of records. I have created a schema for that text file.Then I mapped this schema with IDOC (Acc_Document03)schema.Now I want to send this IDOC message to SAP.There is not shown any errors by BizTalk admin console.But
the message is not reached to SAP.But when I send this IDOC message to a location through File adapter instead of SAP adapter then it has reached there .Why this is happening ?
Please also tell me how to send multiple IDOC message to SAP ?

• Sending 2 messages from SAP but get 1 message in PI

Hi all,
This is a bit of a strange one but I have the situation where we send two idocs at the same time from a SAP ECC system to PI. The first idoc is processed but the second one just dissapears. Things I have checked:
SMQ1/SMQ2 on both systems - nothing there
Runtime workbench - the successful one is there but no failed messages
Sending two messages from another ECC system - we do get both messages - but this is a different interface (however the one with the problem is just a copy of the one which works)
Any ideas what this could be or what else I should be checking?
Kind regards
Ben

Hi Mark,
Thanks for your quick reply. I have checked idx5 and there is only one message/TID from the sending system.
The other ECC system is owned by a different department so I will ask them to run SM58 to see if anything is stuck in there as well

• How to send a message to SAP Service market

Hi All,
I have requirement to Implement OSS notes 693746 and 848961. This notes is for release 500. We are using ECC release 600. If i implement this notes. Is it works.
I want to know if it works or not. How can i raise a message to SAP service market to know it works or not.
Regards,
Aravind

Hi Arvind,
For raising an issue to OSS, you need to have a login id on SAP market place.
In case you have a login id you can directly go quick links under SAP support portal section.
Once you enter your user name & password then you will be navigated to a new page.On this page on the top-left side you will see a link for you inbox,once you go into your inbox select create new message tab and you can post your queries to sap online assisstant.
Thanks & regards,
Subodh

• Send Fault message from SAP XI

I have scenario: get async file from FTP. Starting BPM. From BPM I send message to SOAP service(sync). Where I recieve Fault Message. In BPM I have exception handler.
Could any body tell how send parced Fault message to FTP.
As I understand we need mapping somthing like "Fault message type" to "Inbound message type"

Hi Anton,
Its not possible to catch the data of fault message in BPM with the standard design.Since you can't make an abstract interface of the fault message.
The option available is to parse the XML in the fault message mapping and do a call using UDF's (RFC, SOAP, JDBC calls are supported).
cheers
Sunil.

Using the Function Module your sending the mail to SAP Inbox & external email right.

• Sending HL7 Message from ISH system to External System

Hello Friends,
I am trying do configure our SAP ISH system to send HL7 messages to External 3rd party system. I did my research on SAP HCM module.
I am trying to send HL7 message using SAP XI system. Any help on what version of XI is required and SAP ISH is required would be great help to me. If there is any help document on setup required would also be great help to me.
Thanks for the help.

Hello Vasu
What is the format of message your 3rd part system request and on what protocol?
To my knowledge the Healthcare applications and laboratory information systems require HL7 message format over MLLP protocol.
If this is your requirement then you should use SAP PI 7.1 EHP or PI 7.3 and request to SAP for IAH Adapter. To know more about IAH and its usage in healthcare integration please refer to my blog at http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/a00aabd6-a7f8-2d10-1c9e-bdaf085ab075.

• How to schedule a job to trigger SAP IE send the message

Hi XIer,
Our scenario:
I created a report to use ABAP client proxy to trigger a message in SAP R3. I can see this message has generated in SXMB_MONI in SAP IE(not in XI IE)，but the message status is <message released( commit successful )>, but not send, so I go to SMQ2 inbound queue, and execute the message which pending there waiting for trigger. Then the message successful send out.
My question will be: I believe there will be some background job to do this job to trigger the messages lay in the inbound queue, but I don't know which report will do this job, is there any one can give some hits? thank you very much for your time. : )

Hi -
Have you registered the queues on the R/3 side? In SAP R/3's SXMB_ADM-->Manage Queues, then select "Register Queues" and "Execute Action" button.
Shouldn't need to schedule a job to trigger the send.

Jin

• In solman 4.0 how to send message to SAP through service desk

Dear all,
I have configured service desk functionality, My requirement is from service desk how to send message to SAP.
Regards,
Pavan.

Hi,
Following the steps:
ƒBasic configuration - RFC Connections to SAP
Check if the RFC Connectino SAPOSS is working properly
Check if load distribution group is set to EWA
The RFC Connections:
- SAP-OSS (Send Message to SAP)
- SAP-OSS-LIST-O01 (Update Message from SAP)
will be created automatically by the system with a user which has been assigned
previously.
IMG Path: SAP Web Application Server | SAP Web Application Server | SAP Solution Manager| Basic Settings | SAP Solution Manager System | Connection to SAP | Assign user for forwarding Service Desk Message
With transaction SM59 you can adjust the RFC connections.
- For further information on SAP R/3 Front-end connections, see SAP Notes: 33135, 766505, 24177
- To forward Service Desk notifications and Issues to SAP, you need to assign a user to the SAPNet R/3
Front-end connection to SAP.
Activities:
- 1. From the SAP Solution Manager (transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER), choose (Edit-> Global Settings.
- 2. Choose Display<->Change.
- 3. For SAP Service Marketplace, specify http://service.sap.com as the URL.
- 4. In the Connection to SAP tab, specify SAPOSS as the RFC destination. Note that the entry is casesensitive.
- 5. For User forwading messages, enter a valid user and a password. This user will require all the authorizations for SAPNet R/3 Front-end for your customer number.
- 6. Save your changes.
The system automatically generates the following RFC destinations and assigns the S-User and password you specified: SAP-OSS, SAP-OSS-LIST-O01
Good Lucky!

• Send message to SAP inbox - change message CREATOR

Hi,
I'm sending a message to a user's SAP inbox using function module SO_OBJECT_SEND. By default, the message creator is set to sy-uname. I need to change this to a generic user e.g. 'SYSTEMUSER'. This is not the same as the SENDER/Author/Owner. I managed to change the sender by setting the parameter ORIGINATOR.
I referred to other forums but couldn't find any references to changing the creator. I tried passing the username via parameters SENDER and OWNER - in the Sap Inbox "document overview" the Author is set to SYSTEMUSER but the document creator in "document contents" still reflects my name.
Example code:
ALL FUNCTION 'SO_OBJECT_SEND'
EXPORTING
OBJECT_HD_CHANGE = w_object_hd_change
OBJECT_TYPE      = 'HTM'
SENDER           = 'SYSTEMUSER'
OWNER            = 'SYSTEMUSER'
ORIGINATOR       = 'SYSTEMUSER'
ORIGINATOR_TYPE  = 'B'
TABLES
OBJCONT          = text_nom
RECEIVERS        = receiver_list.
Is it at all possible to change the message creator without modifying the SAP standard code? Examples will be much appreciated.
Kind regards
Liza-Marie

Thanks!!
I'm creating a background job (from within the dialog program) that calls function module SO_OBJECT_SEND with the specified user. This works perfectly!
