How to run Profiler for Mobile Application on adevice.

I would like to see Performance issue for my mobile application. This application is using StageVideo object and StageVideo is unavailable in emulator.
So, I would like to run Profiler in device.
Could anyone please help me ways to run Profiler on device using FlashBuilder.
I'm using FlashBuilder4.6.

How do you profile AIR mobile applications?

I'm used to using FlashBuilder to profile an application, take memory snapshots, and find lingering objects from memory leaks. With AIR mobile, the best I can do is run Adobe Scout to verify that my application has a memory leak. The list of all ActionScript objects is massive- it's not useful for tracking down a leak. Is there a way to use the standard FlashBuilder profiler, or another way to track down a memory leak using Adobe Scout?

Yes, I've enabled telemetry. I use object pooling and nulling, but not in the instance that's causing the exception. It's a simple block that involves a few Parsley commands and an ANE. I really need the profiler to figure out what part is leaking, and I have to test it on a device because of the ANE.

I will get the list of Branches(first DDL) and Zones(Second DDL) from a webservice written in DOT(.)NET, what i needded is touch events and selection events for both the dropdown lists and the data in the second DropDown List should bind based on the First Dropdown list item selected.
Service call for binding data to DDL:

Therer are two ways you can assign an action to the "OnEnter"-event of your input field:
1. in method cl_wd_input_field=>new_input_field you have the parameter:
ON_ENTER
You just have to assign your action name to this field and it will be called on the OnEnter-event of your InputField.
e.g:
     lr_input_field = cl_wd_input_field=>new_input_field(
                                             id = 'INP_MY_INPUT_FIELD'
                                             on_enter = 'MYACTION'
2. You can use the method SET_ON_ENTER.
like:
     lr_input_field->set_on_enter( 'MYACTION' ).
Just make sure, you have created and implemented this action and its handler.

You need it because it's possible to have a complex pricing procedure, and you can't do it with a simple select on a table. Think that you can have pricing requirements, formulas (ie: VOFM) and so on in your pricing procedure (tcode V/08).

How to run D2k 32 bit Application on Windows 7 64 Bit, Presently I am having a Application developed in D2k 32 Bit, and it is running smooth on Windows Visa and Windows Xp. but now OUr company are going for new Laptops having Windows 7 64 Bit.
Is there any way to Solve this Problem, or I have to upgrade D2k , which will be a 6 month job.

Since Forms 6 was never certified on Vista, I will assume you don't care about using Oracle Support. If that's the case, getting Forms 6 to work on Win 7 would likey require similar steps as you took to getting it to work on Vista.
At minimum, you would need to do the following:
1. Start with Forms/Reports 6.0.8.11 (6i Release 2)
2. Install the latest (last) patch (#17), bring the version to 6.0.8.26
3. It may be necessary to relax or disable Windows UAC
4. To run the executables, you have to right click on them and select Run As Administrator in order for them to work properly.
THE ABOVE IS NOT A SUPPORTED CONFIGURATION
Forms 6.x was desupported years ago. If you have not already begun to do so, you should probably be working on a migration plan in order to get you to a supported version. The latest version is 11.1.1.3, so you are far behind. All versions newer than 6.x are entirely web based. This means that you will no longer be able to use the Forms runtime on the client machines. Designing for Mobile Applications

I have a basic 6 page web site for our organization. Since many of our members now use their smart phones for web browsing I am thinking of adjusting my site to accomodate them. Since I have never designed for mobile applications I just wanted to get some professional feedback so I know the proper path to take. The site is a simple three-column layout with header and footer, primarily text with scattered graphics.
My first thought is to just redesign the site with a smaller overall size so it would be viewable in smaller devices, such as smart phones and IPods. Although it would require a total re-design change as far as layout and reduced use of graphics, it wouldn't take me long to create since the site is small to begin with.
My second option is to use a mobile template via jQuery. However, I have never used jQuery and am wondering if re-designing my site using jQuery would be the preferred route to go, or overkill due to the small size of my site.
I guess my question is this: At what point does it become preferable to use jQuery to design mobile web sites, as opposed to just re- creating a smaller physical version of my current web site? Or does using jQuery for mobile design the accepted common practice?

Your application's main module structure can contain different sub-modules like common/base, BCC/versioning and other sub-modules. As you mentioned all of your common piece of server-side functionality, common components and repository definitions can go in the common/base sub-module within your main module structure. There can be one common-ui kind of a sub-module also which can hold common front-end stuff like JS, common CSS, images etc. Then there can be one sub-module for the actual customer facing application. These sub-modules can declare dependency on the common/base sub-module.
I would also go with having a single EAR for the customer facing app sub-module. Now within that EAR you can have different web-apps (WARs) with different context-roots as per your requirements. Having different web-apps will also allow you to bring in device specific changes to the application e.g. adding a device specific filters in case required.

I'm working in WXP. I read the basics on .jar but, at last, I'm stuck in that.
When I execute the: java -jar myjar.jar command, I obtain:
"Failed to load Main-Class manifest atribute for myjar.jar"
Can sombody help me with this issue?. Step by step, please.
I'm install netbeams 5, but ms-dos is almost my grand-ma languaje, not same with english so excuse if my expressions are incorrect in some way.

II have few question to ask all expert here :
1. Im using Netbeans IDE, how can I compile the .java file to .jar ?

!. When you build java application in NetBeans (standard one) you just click 'Build' or 'Clean and Build' and your jar file is waiting for you inside 'dist' directory of your project
2. Connecting MIDP application to the server running PHP scripts is not a problem, just connect using simple HTTP with GET or POST and you are done, google on it!
3. You can connect to the database using some kind of PHP/JSP/ASP or whatever application you want and then using method from point 2 to send and retrive values, you can do it with web services as well, possibilities are endless

Lets suppose I have 3 camera images and I want to run either save for web applications on 2 cameras at the same time, how/can i do that to save time or lets say contact sheet action on 1 and save for web on the other to save time or photoshop files and this runs in the background?

Even if you could run the three process in the background at the same time I do not think the duration of the total execution time would be any shorter. You would still be executing the same number of processor instruction reading and writing the same number of files. If the whole processor was constrained by the processing power running them cuncurrenly may increase the processing time because of contention for the processor. If the processes are IO bound that will not change a overlaping the processes may cause more hard disk seaking because of contention of the hard disk arm.

I already created the system object R/3 Backend.
Actually some WebDynpro java applications/iViews are currently running on Portal. and the developers developed these in NWDS and deployed the .sca files on the Portal server and we created Webdynpro for java iViews.
but now the requirement is creation of webDynpro for ABAP views.
The developers developed WebDynpro for ABAP on the R/3 system. So what are the parameter values we need to give at teh time of creation of WebDynpro for ABAP iview like the Namespace, Application name etc which are mandatory values and how the Portal server detects the application, this means no need to deploy the application on the Portal server?
Shall we need to maintain any JCo Destinations or not?
Pl share your ideas.
