How to sample a data input waveform with a trigger input waveform
Hi,
I am using the NI USB-5132 digitizer to receive two inputs: one is an analog data waveform and one is a digital trigger waveform.
Is there a way to generate a third waveform/array of data that corresponds to the data waveform being sampled only once per rising edge of the trigger input?

First of all thanks for the reply, I've been really busy this last week and haven't been able to reply.
Right now I have my data signal on channel 0 of the NI USB-5138, and I have the trigger on channel 1. I have attached two corrections of how the signals look coming in (one is zoomed out, one is zoomed in, trigger is the red one the zoomed in one). The trigger signal has 128 square pulses per scan that correspond to the time that I would like to sample 128 different high values for the data input. I also have a 3rd input which has a falling edge for the start of each scan. As you can see in the zoomed out waveform graph, the data input consists of consecutive scans of data.
My end goal would be to process the data so that I have 128 different arrays of 10-20 data points (each data point represents a different scan), with each of the 128-array corresponding to a different element in the 128-long scan, and how it has changed over time. So for example, if the data at array location 3 changes from 0 V at scan t0 to 2.5 V at scan t1, then back down to 0 V at scan t2, then I would like to have an array that looks like:
Array of data for location[3]
Time: t0 t1 t2
Voltage: 0 2.5 0
My biggest challege has been setting up these arrays. Would it be best to capture 10-20 scans using the 'Acquire N Samples', and then do post processing? I also experimented with the PtbyPt VIs, which seem interesting because I would like to do as much of my work in real time as possible, but I'm not too familiar with these or with Labview.
Any help would be much appreciated.

can anybody explain me how to sample and play audio files with logic's EXS24 Sampler???
i cant find a way to upload and manage my own audio content on this sampler...i uderstand , thanx...
i managed to open an audio file and placed it in the sampler,i can play t sample in the little keyboard in the zones section, howver i dont know how to play it with my controller... the sample shows in C1 on logic's keyboard but if i play C1 on my controller nothing happens... how can i fix this?
Also, i noticed the sample plays from beginning to end once i click on it, how do i do to just make it last until i release the key? like a logic sound??? (in case i want to play a small portion of the sample only)

Problem in getting data into database with standard direct input program
HI All,
I am having problem which is not updating the records in MM01 or MM02 with standard direct input program. i have data in internal table. from that table i am trying to upload into database by using background job MRP_MATERIAL_MASTER_DATA_LOAD.
when i execute my program it is showing message job is started. then i go into sm37 and seethe job status by executing. there also i am seeing job completed succesfully.
but if i go to mm03 and find the materials are updated or created there i couldn't find the material numbers which are from internal table.
So if ny one help me it wil be great.

Thanks for your answer, but i am facing problem is i have material no and denominator and Actual UOM and nominator field values in the flat file.....
by using RMDATIND direct input program with MRP_MATERIAL_UPLOAD as job name for background job while uploading data into database.
here i am not getting data in to database, but when i execute the job in sm37 it is showing that message job processing successfully completed...this is my status..

I have data in report.
I have to compare that data in the report with that of soure data(r3).
in the source when i got to rsa3 and give the data source i am able to see total number of records but no the data.
1)How can i see the data coming for spefic field or all the fileds which are data source?
2)For one field i am getting data for infoprovider but not in the report?

Once its shown number of records then click ALV / List which will show your the records...

To identify the this , please check the mapping of field in between Data Source and Target... then go to your target list the data...
2)For one field i am getting data for infoprovider but not in the report?
If your report developed based on multi provider , and even you can see data in multiprovider , hard filter would be the issue ....

How do I enter data in excel with a specified number of decimal points?
I have several inputs that are being written into excel using the "Write to Spreadsheet file" vi. One of my inputs only writes to excel with 3 decimal points. I would like it to have four, how do I change this?
Pop-up on the top input to the "Write to Spead...." labled "Format".
Chnage it from the default of "%.3f" to "%.4f"

i have created tabular form with UPDATE Only .here i am assigning work to another multiple users.i want to insert system date and time when i assign work to multiple users.
How can i insert system date and time into table using tabular form in Update Only Mode.
beacuse i have pass in default system date it's working only with add row button.
How can i pass system date and time in update mode in tabular form.

You just create a trigger on the table on which you build your tabular form:
e.g:

How to lock the data for few periods in the Input Layout
Dear All,
I have an input enabled layout wherein I will display the data based on a period range.( For ex, 01.2007 to 12.2007).
Now, based on the current period I should disable the input readiness for the periods less than my current period.
In my ex, if my current period is 06.2007, the input readiness should be disabled for the periods 01.2007 to 05.2007 .
How can I achive this?

You can use user variable exit for the disabled one (the period one); based on the current period..

How do i transfer data from 3gs with IOS 5.0.1 to a 3g with ios 4.1.2
my iphone 3gs with IOS 5.0.1 broke, and it was backed up on my itunes. i had to revert back to my iphone 3g with 4.1.2 until i can afford a newer phone, but the problem is... i cant transfer the backup of the 3gs because the 3g does not support 5.0.1. how can i format the backed up data to work on my 3g? or am i just out of luck until i buy a newer phone?
Sorry, you can't do that. You won't be able to use that backup on your 3G.

How to delete the Data Points label with a crosstab layout
Hi, just a question.
I created a report which uses a crosstab layout; so...I have the Company Name on the left, Status Code above and the Count(tickets) as Data Points.
As soon as I put the Count(tickets) inside the report, the label "Data Points: Incident Id Count appears above just at the bottom of the Status Code
Is there a way to avoid this tedious label ?
As workaround, I changed the Data Points' format heading (text and background) in such a way to see only a Grey space...but this is not so useful (from the customer side...)
I also looked for inside the crosstab layout properties...but I didn't found nothing.....

AlexWell, I think you are out of luck. You are basically saying you want to control when you have a column heading and when you don't want to have a column heading. Most of us users do want column headings in our reports. In fact I have a hard time trying to figure out why you don't want a column heading. How are the report users going to know what the numbers in the column mean if you don't have a heading on the column? Maybe the initial users of the report know, but what happens when they leave and someone else takes over their duties? I would suggest putting in an enhancement request for Discoverer to give you the option to not display a column heading, if you really want something like this. This needs to be at the workbook level, I am thinking.

If I understand correctly, you want to display legend name and filed value as data label in the pie chart. Suppose the Values field is Amount, Category Groups field is Year. Please refer to the following steps:
Right click the data label in the pie chart, select Series Label Properties.
Click the expression icon below “Label data:” prompt, and fill with expression below:
=Fields! Year.Value &"(" & Fields! Amount.Value & ")"
