How to Schedule Mon-Friday and 6 AM to 10 PM everyday.

Hi, We have a requirement to schedule an object from Monday to Friday and only from 6 AM to 10 PM. I know we can use Calendar to define workdays but in that case object would run once a day. I need it to run every hour every working day. Do we have any means to do that?

The only option is create 4-Jobs per Objects and run them on a weekly basic and choose the days.
Create a schedule for 6am (sample screenshot below)
Another for 7am
another 8am
another 9am
another 10am

Delivery dates and quantities are part of the purchase order terms.
As soon as GR is made, vendor account is credited.
In MIRO (LIV), vendor is paid depending upon, delivery date, price matched and quality approves the item.
Cycle in case of scheduling agreement is the same as standard purchase order.

I am working on an installation of a mac mini at a kiosk and need it to shutdown at a certain time every day. But when I set it to shutdown at 9pm a countdown starts from 10minutes. Is there a way to make this shutdown in 30 seconds?

yes, it does seem to give a 10 minute warning. not sure why this is a problem. can't you just schedule it to shut down at 8:50pm if it has to be on till 9pm? other than this you can always bypass the energy saver (just turn it off) and schedule a shutdown using your own launch daemon. get lingon http://sourceforge.net/projects/lingon/files/ and make a *users daemon* that runs every day at 9pm an executes the command
shutdown -h now
Note: this will give NO warning and just shut down the system at 9pm every day.

How to stop scheduled ship date and scheduled arrival date from defaulting to sysdate

Hello,
We have a business scenario where we are deriving scheduled ship date and scheduled arrival date outside and then imported in the instance with the order. However we find that the scheduled ship date and scheduled arrival date are defaulting to sysdate. The atp flag is set to N for these items. I have checked the defaulting rules, there is no such defaulting rule set for scheduled ship date or arrival date ( screenshot attached) Please share your thoughts on how can I stop scheduled ship date and arrival date date from defaulting to sysdate ?

some nice coding here, I'm still amazed with what some people can do with "connect by". But I agree with some statements here that this can take "time", and to be honest, it's funny to see it working, but if you do not have a computer, just a calendar and some paper, would you go for "counting" so there must be a better solution?
The best working math in here is done by Aketi Jyuuzou, who writes so good English that I wonder why he still insists that he doesn't ;-)

How to schedule and e-mail reports in OIM 10g

Hi,
Could you please let me know how to schedule and e-mail OOTB reports in OIM 10g.
When I click on reports tab and try to run a report, I see the report displayed on the screen and has an option to export to CSV format.
I could not find a place where I can specify the scheduling interval or the set of e-mail recipients.

You can write your own schedule task to do the same. You can use the existing Stored procedures which are used by OOTB reports to get the desired report.

How to Schedule a Report to Run on a Specific Business Day and Not on the Weekend

Is there a way to schedule a Webi report to run on a specific Business Day? For example, if I wanted a report to run on the 3rd day of every month, but when the 3rd day for a particular month landed on a Saturday or Sunday, then Monday would automatically be chosen instead. Is that possible?

Hi Michael,
You can do that by selecting the calendar option while scheduling the report and manually selecting the 3rd day of every month and when the 3rd day for a particular month landed on a Saturday or Sunday, then select the next Monday.
I dont see any option available for this scenario directly in BO.

How to sync tables in scheduler DB#1 and scheduler DB#2

the issue is as following

Customer's BIP environment is as following
[Publisher 1] [Publisher 2] ---------+---------> [ scheduler DB 1] (primary)
[ scheduler DB 2] (stand by)
BIP :10.1.3.4.2 DB: 10.2.0.5
Customer use DB#1 at ordinary times, only when any issue happen and make DB#1 down,then Customer will use DB#2.
Now Customer need to make the following four tables synchronized in scheduler DB#1 and scheduler DB#2 every 10 mins(or shorter time).

Questions are
1. Does BIP support team have any supported steps to sync the four tables in scheduler DB#1 and scheduler DB#2?

or we need to Sync the entire schema not just a few tables
3.As CT needs to sync the four tables every 10 mins,at that time, Both BIP and DB are active,do we support to do sync in this status.
but for no document state it,Could development give me official answer for it?

login in as ora<SID>. Issue command sqlplus /nolog. Then issue connect / as sysdba.
This should take you to SQL prompt where you can trigger your queries.

Hi Suresh,
If you want to change in the Production system, you may not have the Authorizations. If you have authorization;
1. Goto RSPC-->double click on the Process chain
2. double click on the Start variant of the process chain-->Click on the EDIT button
3. Click on the CHANGE SELECTIONS then click on the DATE/TIME Tab;
4. There pls give from which date this process chain has to run to with your requirement time,
then give the time and select the periodic job and select with your requirement.
Save and exit.
It is done!!

To Start
You should now be able to chat to each other.
If each of you has a camera it can be full Video , as described in the Glossary at the top.
To start from the Mac end, select (highlight) your Buddy with one click. His camera icon should be dark. Click on the icon near his name or the one at the bottom of the Buddy List. (You do not have to start a text chat).
To start from the PC end you need to start a text chat, then select the Video icon at the bottom of the chat window.
If one of you has a camera and the other has a Mic then you will be able to chat One Way but have sound will be both ways.
To start this type of chat from the Mac end you will have to go to the menu item "Buddies" and drop down to the item "Invite to One Way Video Chat"

For any sort of sound to a PC using AIM, (Talk in PC or Audio in iChat) the Mac will need a camera. The other person can have a Mic and then live chats with sound both ways and Pictures (Video) the other.
NOTE: At This Time It Is NOT Possible to Audio (sound only) between Mac & PC with AIM & iChat
Trillian Basic can Audio. Trillian Pro can Video and has a bigger picture and can do Full Screen.

Is this to run periodically ?
During the request submission, click schedule, choose the specific days, and click on S = Sunday.
Change the start date on the date of the sunday you want to run, eg : 15-JUL-07 14:00:00, change the end date as well.

Link between schedule Line Number and Delivery

Is there a link between Schedule line Number and Delivery number ?
Eg. Line item 10 with quantity 100.
has 5 schedule lines..with 5 different delivery dates.
1 . quanity 40
2.   quantity 30
3.   quantity 20
4.   quanity 6
5    quantity 4
For schedule line 1, 2 deliveries were created,
one      with quantity 20
another with quantity 15
quantity 5 is still not delivered.
also schedule lines 2,3,4 and 5 are fully delivered.
Is there any table, FM etc in SAP which will give me the link between the schedule line and delivery number ?
Total deliveries created : 6. - But which delivery corresponds to which schedule line ?
Please dont tell me to look VGBEL and VGPOS.. that will just give line item number 10.. I need to get the schedule line number.
Also, RV_SCHEDULE_CHECK_DELIVERIES --> will give me the delivered quantity against each schedule line.
My purpose is to create an ontime delivery report .
a report which list each schedule lines, and tell, how many shipments were late/ontime/early etc..
and for Late ones, how many days late has to be found.
this is where i need the delivery.
No. Of days Late = Actual GI Date - Planned GI Date.
Actual GI date is in the delivery.
