How to see the linked table in oracle 8.0
hi,
i am using oracle 8.0, i have some 8 to 9 tables in it, some of them are linked, is there any way i could see the linked tables, if you do know any utility pls let me know.

see the linked tablesI understand from your question that you are refering to Referential Integrity. I.e you have Parent Tables with Primary Keys and Child Tables linked with Foreign Keys.
It is easier to use GUI tools (OEM, Toad etc) to browse through them. In Toad for instance as a start, you can view the SQL Model. There are other Modelling tools you can use as well.
For the start, you can check USER_CONSTRAINTS and other related dictionary views to find them.
Here is a small example:
select constraint_name
,constraint_type
,table_name
,r_constraint_name
,delete_rule
,status
from user_constraints;
The constraint_type will show P (Primary Key), C (Check), R (Referential) etc
However, you can use queries to find Object Dependencies in the Database.

This obviously requires a full backup
taken before the drop which you don't seem to have, so the answer is "regrettably no."
If you have a backup;
Take backup of ur current db, apply previous day backup, do point in time recovery to get table back,export table, shutdown and apply latest backup, import table back

is there any procedure to attache directly created table into sap ?I think you have to create it in SE11 first. Although you can probably use native SQL to access it from an ABAP program.

This is because the data in BSEG is posted to various accounts and the VBRP is usually for a Sales Order or Delivery.
However there is a link from BKPF to VBRK and VBRK is linked to VBRP.
BKPF-AWKEY has the the Invoice number VBRK-VBELN

RgdsThe only option to see the active table/ field name is through F1 --> Technical Information. Apart from this, you can use any 3rd part application like GUIex (INbuilt in SAP ECC 6.0 ... can be activated by clicking on the tri-color button on the top right), but you need technical knowledge to understand the information. As far consolidated list of MM tables is concerned, SAP don;t provide you the same at one place, it experience and knowledge which help you in this regard. Linking Tables to Oracle Views
I am not able to see the PKs in MS-ACCESS after creating a linked table to a view within Oracle. The views were created using Select * from the base table which is a materialized view. No WHERE clause in the view.
Also, why do I get an error when creating a linked table to a materialized view in Oracle. I am getting the following error when creating the linked table:
"Invalid filed definition M_ROW$$ in definition of index or relationship.

As a workaround, you can create a view of the materialized view and link to that.

Thanks.Any Oracle client connected to the Oracle database can access Sybase data through the <font style="background-color: #FFFFCC">Database Gateway for Sybase</font> (it requires an additional license) or the <font style="background-color: #FFFFCC">Database gateway for ODBC</font> (it's free).
The Oracle client and the Oracle database can reside on different machines. The gateway accepts connections only from the Oracle database.
A connection to the gateway is established through a database link when it is first used in an Oracle session. In this context, a connection refers to the connection between the Oracle database and the gateway. The connection remains established until the Oracle session ends. Another session or user can access the same database link and get a distinct connection to the gateway and Sybase database.
Database links are active for the duration of a gateway session. If you want to close a database link during a session, you can do so with the ALTER SESSION statement.
To access the Sybase server, you must create a <font style="background-color: #FFFFCC">database link</font>. A public database link is the most common of database links.
