How to seeting locale identifier via http (msmdpump.dll)

Hello all!
I need to set the locale identifier via http. Is there a way to config the connection string for the msmdpump.dll?
Unfortunately I need to access the analysis services with java. So the connect has to use the msmdpump.dll.
Does anybody know a way to config the locale identifier in the msmdpump.ini? Or maybe via url parameter like "http://srv/olap/msmdpump.dll?Locale Identifier=1033"
Any ideas are very welcome ;-)
Andreas

If you are doing RAW XMLA to msmdpump.dll it is a multi-step process.
You have to create a session passing in the locale as a property
eg.
<Envelope xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
  <Header>
    <BeginSession soap:mustUnderstand="1" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xml-analysis" />
    <Version Sequence="400" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/analysisservices/2003/engine/2" /><NamespaceCompatibility xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/analysisservices/2003/xmla" mustUnderstand="0"/></Header>
  <Body>
    <Execute xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xml-analysis">
      <Command>
        <Statement />
      </Command>
      <Properties>
        <PropertyList>
          <Timeout>0</Timeout>
          <SspropInitAppName>Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio - Query</SspropInitAppName>
          <LocaleIdentifier>3081</LocaleIdentifier>
          <ClientProcessID>1604</ClientProcessID>
          <DataSourceInfo />
        </PropertyList>
      </Properties>
    </Execute>
  </Body>
</Envelope>
In the response you should get a guid for the session. I do not think that can just specify the Locale in the properties of a request - I think you'll find that the locale for a request needs to match the setting on the session.
Then in subsequent requests (such as the following MDSCHEMA_CUBES request) you need to pass the session id in the header
<Envelope xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
  <Header>
    <XA:Session soap:mustUnderstand="1" SessionId="87D9F3F3-610E-4C4B-B473-828C02D72561" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:XA="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xml-analysis" />
  </Header>
  <Body>
    <Discover xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xml-analysis">
      <RequestType>MDSCHEMA_CUBES</RequestType>
      <Restrictions>
        <RestrictionList>
          <CUBE_SOURCE>3</CUBE_SOURCE>
        </RestrictionList>
      </Restrictions>
      <Properties>
        <PropertyList>
          <Timeout>0</Timeout>
          <SspropInitAppName>Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio - Query</SspropInitAppName>
          <LocaleIdentifier>3081</LocaleIdentifier>
          <ClientProcessID>1604</ClientProcessID>
          <DataSourceInfo />
          <Catalog>Adventure Works</Catalog>
          <Content>SchemaData</Content>
          <Format>Tabular</Format>
          <DbpropMsmdActivityID>b89e1ef5-45da-4e36-af1c-f9d5dbe486cf</DbpropMsmdActivityID>
          <DbpropMsmdRequestID>1ffb741c-82bf-4edb-b35e-f4767512afda</DbpropMsmdRequestID>
        </PropertyList>
      </Properties>
    </Discover>
  </Body>
</Envelope>

  • How to send XML via HTTPS in Servlet

    I am new to Java. I need to make a servlet which can send a message via HTTPS with a content type of XML to another web server when it is called. each msg is proceeded with a header in the following format:
    requestID=rid&userID=uid&password=mypd
    and a detail information in XML:
    <S_Request>
    <requestControllID>1-rf200</requestControlID>
    <zipCode>99012</zipCode>
    <orderQuantity>35</orderQuantity>
    </S_Request>
    I have basic idea of how to send an http post with parameter string by using the Redirect function but don't know how to deal with the XML detail. Any one has idea about this? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    This is what I did for one of my projects;
    String myXML = "all the xml tags and fields";
    URL url = new URL("https://www.somesite.com");
    HttpsURLConnection connection = (HttpURLConnection) url.openConnection();
    connection.setDoOutput(true);
    OutputStream outXML = connection.getOutputStream();
    outXML.write(myXML.getBytes());
    I think you can add the requestID and all to the begining of the string myXML
    Good luck

  • How to send a pdf file via http call

    Hi Experts,
    Please try to think on how you would send a file like a pdf file via the http call. You might need to convert the pdf in a character string which can be sent via http. The character string then might need to  get converted back into a pdf and saved in a file. Read through the Archive Link API guide to see how they send the body of a file.
    Please it is urgent......
    Thanks
    Basu

    so you want to push the PDF file over http to external system.
    where is pdf file stored.
    for examle if its in the clients desktop, you can use gui_upload to upload to internal tabble (type BIN) then use FM SCMS_BINARY_TO_XSTRING to conver the binary table to type string.
    then use cl_http_client class to push the file to the destination.

  • How To Force Access Via HTTPS/SSL?

    Forgive me if this question reveals how little I know about SSL, but... ;-)
    What is the standard, best practice way to force a web client (via browser)
    to use HTTPS/SSL? Our configuration is that the clients hit an IIS server
    first, which then uses the WebLogic proxy/forward plug-ins to the WebLogic
    server. The URLs that our clients follow come from an email we send, which
    has https:// on the front. Access seems to stay in https as long as they
    follow our links, but if the client edits the URL and changes https to
    http, the access is now without SSL. How can I restrict access to https
    only, or otherwise make sure they never use non-SSL access?
    Thanks in advance for any explanations or pointers to references, etc.
    -Paul

    Paul,
    You can disable the http port between IIS and weblogic. Configure only the SSL
    connection. That way if any request comes to weblogic as http , it will be rejected.

    Thanks for the reply! What if the web server (the front end IIS server)
    also serves static web pages that are allowed to be accessed without

  • How can my applet communicate with servlet via HTTPS?

    hi all,
    I'm using jdk1.4.2_03. Tomcat 4.1.27/29.
    My applet used to communicate to serlvet/JSP via http protocol. However, I wish to apply SSL in my tomcat standalone. Is there any implication towards my existing applet to servlet codes?
    For example,
    URL servletURL = new URL("http://www.myhost.com/Shopping");
    // open connection between applet and servlet
    URLConnection servletConnection = servletURL.openConnection();
    servletConnection.setDoOutput(true); // allow connection do output
    servletConnection.setDoInput(true); // allow connection do input
    servletConnection.setUseCaches(false);
    servletConnection.setRequestProperty("Content-Type", "application/octet-stream");
    ObjectInputStream input = new ObjectInputStream(servletConnection.getInputStream());
    resultset = (Vector)input.readObject(); //get Object from Servlet
    input.close();

    I never used it though, you can check for some code here:

    Dear members,
    i want to reset local admin account(not administrator built-in), let say i have user adminlocal and member in administrator group. my question, how to reset this user via GPO in domain, because i have more than 5000 workstation in my environment. and how to
    generate summary of all workstation which are password reset.
    i've tried from this link,
    http://community.spiceworks.com/how_to/show/1966-how-to-change-local-user-or-admin-passwords-on-remote-computers
    using PSTools sysinternal from microsoft, but while i execute one PC on domain for sample using this script, they showing access denied
    anyone in this forum can help me to resolve this problem?.

    Dear,
    you can use Powershell to do this.
    I've found a script in the script center which can do this.
    http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/66a5b38f-cdf1-4126-aa0c-be65e16dd650/view/Discussions#content
    Set-Password -computer 'server' -user 'Administratorlocal'
    You can create a loop in powershell to check all your servers which you've posted in a .txt file for example.
    $strcomputers = Get-Content c:\servers.txt
    foreach ($strcomputer in $strcomputers)
    $admin=[adsi]("WinNT://" + $strComputer + "/administratorlocal, user")
    $admin.psbase.invoke("SetPassword", "Whatever1")

  • How to use the "identify" feature in new 6.3.1 airport utility?

    how to use the "identify" feature in new 6.3.1 airport utility?
    so you can find the basestations in larger networks?

    There is a workaround, which is to use Airport Utility 5.6.
    I can confirm that 5.6 will run on 10.8.4 Mountain Lion, it will recognize the new 2013 Airport Extreme Base Station (A1521) running firmware 7.7.1, and it will give you access to view the device's Log & Statistics, DHCP Clients, and Profiles.
    Four caveats:
    1) The easiest way to install it is to download the app itself, not an installer or through the App Store. There is a page here where you can download the app: http://coreyjmahler.com/2013/03/08/airport-utility-5-6-on-os-x-v10-8-mountain-li on/ This way, you still have both versions, Airport Utility 6.x.x and 5.6.
    2) When you launch 5.6, you'll get a message saying a newer version is available and asking if you want to update. Click Cancel to proceed into the utility.
    3) When you click the Manual Setup button in 5.6, you'll get a warning dialog that "This version of AirPort Utility doesn't support this AirPort wireless device and might improperly configure the device if you continue to use it. Check www.apple.com/support/airport for the latest version of AirPort Utility." You can click Continue to get into the utility without issue.
    4) You should probably only use 5.6 to view the additional status details. I have not tried to modify and save any AEBS settings using 5.6. There are other discussions here in the forums indicating that attempting to save settings via 5.6 that are no longer available in 6.3.1 will not actually save the settings to the AEBS even if both utilities indicate that the settings are changed. See https://discussions.apple.com/message/22677993#22677993
    So, even though you can't use it to modify settings no longer available in Airport Utility 6.3.1, using Airport Utility 5.6 to view DHCP clients, Logs and Statistics is very useful for troubleshooting network issues.
    PS - There are two ways to get to the DHCP Clients list, neither of which is obvious The first is to go to the Airport pane -> Summary tab and click on the "Wireless Clients:" label in the Summary display. All of the labels from "Wireless Mode:" down on the Summary display operate as links to view/edit the corresponding info/settings, which is also not obvious at first glance. Also not obvious, clicking on "Wireless Clients:" actually brings up a new pane with three tabs: Logs, Wireless Clients, and DHCP Clients. You can also get to the same pane by going to the Advanced pane and clicking on the Logs and Statistics button.
    I hope this is helpful information. Took me a while to find out how to do this.

  • Problem with loading an image via HTTP

    Hallo,
    When using the JBCL TransparentImage control i can load images
    from my local HD. But when i use setImageURL it won't work. I
    looked at the sources and it seems to me that the problem lies
    within the default toolkit. The following code works when using
    a local file. Via HTTP the Observer get's one notification with
    just the error-flag set.
    URL url=new URL("http://localhost/mxtj_inetmaps/mp_map1.gif");
    // String sFileName="c:\\mapinfo\\inetmap\\mp_map1.gif";
    Toolkit tk=Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit();
    Image i=tk.getImage(url);
    // Image i=tk.getImage(sFileName);
    MyObserver mo=new MyObserver();
    tk.prepareImage(i, -1, -1, mo);
    Could someone help me, how to show a Web-Image within a control ?
    Bye Heiko.

    Hi,
    There is no getImage that accepts the parameters in the order in which you have given them. Try this:
    getImage( getCodeBase(), "flower.gif" );

    is it possible to access my TimeCapsule from outside my local network via internet? If so what is the best app  that  can help me?

    iCloud can do it..
    http://www.apple.com/au/support/icloud/back-to-my-mac/
    You need Lion and latest firmware on the TC..
    Were you hoping to use the ipad/iphone??  That maybe possible but I am not sure how.
    You cannot use windows without opening SMB to some strange port and this is going to mess with security.. you also need a static ip address from your ISP.. most private net users do not have this.
    You can do it via vpn.. you will need to buy a vpn router and bridge the TC to it.
    Just google remote access time capsule.. there are a zillion posts about it.

  • Try expose svn via http, but Location directive does not work.

    Hello everyone,
    I used svn exposed via http in OSX 10.6 and 10.7 using collabnet.
    Now I take OSX server 10.8 and installed svn inside XCode.
    SVN is correctly installed, apache respond to default site.
    I copied the modules dav_svn_module and authz_svn_module compiled on my machine with same svn version of XCode [version 1.6.18 (r1303927)] .
    I created a file into /etc/apache2/other called svn.conf that contain follow code:
    LoadModule dav_svn_module libexec/apache2/mod_dav_svn.so
    LoadModule authz_svn_module libexec/apache2/mod_authz_svn.so
    <Location /repo>
      DAV svn
      SVNPath '/Volumes/VMware HD/svn/repository'
    </Location>
    Checking if module are loaded with sudo apachectl -t -D DUMP_MODULES i obtain:
    Loaded Modules:
    dav_svn_module (shared)
    authz_svn_module (shared)
    Syntax OK
    So file svn.conf is loaded and the module too.
    When I try to check via browser with http://localhost/repo I obtain in /var/log/apache2/error_log the following error:
    [Wed Feb 13 12:41:12 2013] [error] [client 192.168.1.114] File does not exist: /Library/Server/Web/Data/Sites/Default/repo
    Is Location directive failing?!
    How can I expose the right repository location instead of default site?

    Oeren,
    I stumbled across this little tidbit buried in the BI Publisher forum: Dynamic Images in rtf
    Glad you are up and running!
