How to send command to the control board?

Hello everyone
I am developing pci-7344`s driver under RTX.It says in the DDK that
command and data passed to or from the controller is handled in a
packet format. A packet consists of resourceID,commandID,data etc.Now I
know the information of resourceID,commandID,data etc.DDK or the
hardware user manual does not mention how to send them in a packet.
Moreover The command buffer register is 16-bit.
I try to send them one by one but it indicates "modal error" in the
csr.Since I have not programmed "error-handling" part of the driver ,so
I do not know what the error codes are.
Hope some advice on how to send the command packet? It is best if there
is an example !!

Here is a modified version of the example I suggested. It includes the option of using the parallel port for communication. I am in the process of getting some example ZPL for you for the label formats that you are using.This example should give you everything you need to communicate with the printer.

Hy everyone,
i have installed olite on a number of wince device.
If i try to send command to the device when connected with the desktop computer on wich the mobile server is installed everything goes well.
My devices are connected by wifi to the lan of my company and i would like to send command via HTTP.
I tried to change the settings on the mobile server setting the Network Protocol to HTTP and setting the ip of the device but it does not work.
Does anyone know how to solve the problem?

yes the command is queued but anything happens.
I tried to wait for long time but the command never succeed to execute.
If i try to send again the command from the Command History windows the command fails.

The little program is 5.5 x 8 inch pages (letter size paper folded in half). They must to
print it in 4 pieces of paper letter size, put them together and then fold them in half, (staple it).
I am using 1/4 inches in bleed and I would like to have crops marks. Must to be PDF!
I have no idea how to send this to the printer. Any help?

First, ask your printer.
Second, printers generally want unimposed PDF. IOW, export regular pages and let your printer arrange them the way they want it.
But definitely ask them first. And make sure you mention the bleed.

is it possible to make simple java console application which can send commands to the os? for example in linux, if I want to remove a file through my application, can I send the "rm" command somehow?

However if you just want to remove a file, you might find the delete() method of java.io.File more convenient than wrestling with all the pitfalls of Runtime.exec().

I have a problem with my printer HP Officejet 6700 Premium [851648] when sending a fax using the control panael (Screen) of the printer. It shows to me very fast a blue screen with a power icon and an Error Code : "B82658AC". Than it shows a masseg tell me to turn off the printer. But when send a fax via HP Utility program it sends with no problem. It is the first time to send a fax after buying the printer. I have done the Test and show to me every thing is OK. My printer is conected directly to the phone line. I just want to now how to fix this problem, Thanx.

Want to use dotNet with teststand, but unsure how to send commands through serial port

I have a loCom communication dll used to send and recieve commands through serial comunication for a particular product. I the past they have used a LabVIEW wrapper to send and recieve commands, using this particular dll. I would like to just use testStand for the DOTNET Dll. I can get the commands, know the inputs and outputs required, however I can not figure out how to send the commands to the serial port. Anyone have any exprience doing this in TesSTand?

With your .NET code module, you should be able to call it directly, most likely as a parameter in the .NET method.
What are the inputs for the method you're trying to use?
Also, could you clarify where you're starting to have problems in your project?

How do i turn off the on-board graphics?

I'm trying to install a saphire hd 7850 2gb OC edition but when i turn on my computer the fans spin once and the computer doesnt turn on ive been told i have to turn off the on-board graphics but dont know how, any help would be appreciated thanks.

Look more like a power or short circuit issue when the fans only spins once. Make sure all power cables are connected.

New Win7 install. Can't open html files. Get "there was a problem sending command to the program".

When I try to open an html file on my hard drive, I get a "There was a problem sending the command to the program" error. There is no way I can open a local html file with firefox, even though Win7 sees it these files as Firefox documents. This is a brand-new Gateway tower running Windows7-64, Athlon phenom 4x processor, 6G RAM, and the latest version of Firefox (a week old).

Can't open Excel files saved to desktop, get popup "There was a problem sending command to the program".

Whenever I save an MS Excel file to my desktop, it creates an icon on the screen. But when I try to open it, I get a popup that says "There was a problem sending the command to the program."
This happens with all Excel files - but MS Word and other files work fine.

Yes, I saw that earlier but it seems to be a temporary fix. I had the same issue return 2 weeks ago, then again yesterday. Each time, I've tried this solution which works but only to see it return at some time in the near future.
Coincidently, I have a similar issue occur on my iPhone 4S w/ iOS 6. There, my keyboard shortcuts won't work in forms unless I tick off Data and Documents iCloud setting, power down the phone, then turn it back on. But like this, it only seems to work for a temporary time and the problem resurfaces in a few days.

and all these i mean reading the file from the HDD and giving it to the console and getting the output everything should be done by my prgm . .
so basically the command which i usually run on the prompt i should be able to pass that command from my java prgm to the console and get that thing executed . .

How to send commands to command button to look like an event

Hi all
I am trying to find the proper way to send a software command to a command button.
For example say you have a simple (OK) command button, within that command button the callback function has multiple lines of code that are run from within that one callback.
Now what I want to do is call the (OK) button in another function as if the user pushed the button without effectively having the function to wait for all the process in the (OK) callback to finish, I want it to call the (OK) button and get out of its function and continue on.
What I have seems to work but I am not sure if this is the proper way of coding it.
Code sample to turn on =1and off 0: OK Callback (panelnumber =2, controlnumber = 2, event=2 , callback= NULL, event1=0, event2=0)
