How to set up wifi hotspot connectivity

I have an old laptop that was upgraded from XP to Vista Business. It runs OK but is very slow. I have Fios wireless at home and it connects fine, but the In-house Agent won't run properly (blank pages for the Internet & Phone sections...Chat tech was unhelpful). My question is: how can I set up the hotspot connectivity without having to use the worse-than-useless In-house agent?

Droid has it's own app, and boingo is what Verizon uses - so you can safely download boingo and then when it asks for your login, you put your VZ log in info.
you DO have to create a seperate WIFI log in though, So you should go to www.verizon.net/
Hover over my verizon and then select VIEW all from the my services menu > then select internet on the left hand side menu > then select manage under the verizon wifi section.
Manage gives you two options

Select Wifi how to demos and then click and follow the registration link
when you get there, it wants you to sign in, you sign in with your main account, and then you go through the Wi-fi registration steps to make a Verizon WIFI username
these are going to be seperate usernames, one used for your account and online access, you already have this one
and the next is one specifically for wifi hotspot access, you are creating this one (if you haven't already done so)

How to set attributes in new connection url request

Hi, I'm an italian programer and I'm sorry for my english. Using the follow java code, I include an jsp page in to other jsp page. I use struts framework too. The problem is that the page includes do not has on the request object the same attributes of the calling page. for example the page authentication.jsp page has on self request object the attributes "org.apache.struts.message", but the page includes drop this attribute on the request object. In other words the page includes does not inherit the request attributes of the calling page.
How to do to resolve this problem.

Please have a look at this.
What you are doing is creating a new http request using a url connection!! That's why the request attributes does not show up, it's not the same request!
If you want to include the response of another resource, use a request dispatcher to include it. Eg.

How to set IPC JCO user connect to CRM system via 'group'?

Dear expert,
When we do XCM setting for IPC JCO connect, we input the server address directly in 'ashost', such as ashost = dga107.ndpaper.com. However, for CRM server, we have two instance, 107 and 108. Does that mean JCO user will only logon instance 107? Does that mean order will only creat in 107, no order in 108? can we have do some some settings to enable a group logon for the JCO user?
i noticed for base config, there is 'group connect' in dropdown list,how can i config XCM in the group way? is there any instruction?

I'm pretty sure there is a way but I can't check it right now.
We have such systems where this is set the way you would like it to be, but those are connected to a CUA (central user administration) so the possibility
does exist for regular Dialog users.
Unless it is valid for all users in the systems (which is very likely) that way only admin's in the CUA have authorization to change the password and synchronize it.
Service users is indeed what you are looking and most likely the best solution.

1. Please make sure that you are able to ping to the cable modem by setting both IP of both cable modem and system in the same range.
Hint: Please read the catalog come with cable modem to find default IP and change the System IP to the same range.
Normally the IP will be 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1
2. Access the cable modem through browser with the URL http://192.168.50.50 and make necessary changes.
2. Set the DNS in your system by editing /etc/resolv.conf. touch if it is not there.
3. Set the proxy in your browser if ISP have.
3. Then reboot the system.

It's part of the cellular settings, and is usually set up by your 3G provider. You can't choose your own proxy server

The first time you connect a loaded iPod to a new Mac, how can you stop iTunes from "synchronizing" with it, thereby deleting all the music that was loaded onto the iPod already?
Soon we will be a multi-iPod, multi-computer family. We will want to use a single iPod with more than one computer, so we will be setting the iPod to "manually manage music." However, iTunes doesn't seem to let you set iPod options until AFTER you have connected the iPod. I am worried that it will erase the iPod before it gives me a chance to set "manually manage music."
For Christmas-related reasons, it is not possible to test any of this before Christmas and I need to get it right the first time!

You can use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer on a Mac hold down the Option and Command (⌥ and ⌘ Apple) keys. This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and it will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 20 to 30 seconds depending on your computer. My configuration : another manufacture laptop with True Mobile 350 (Toshiba stack)
and a PDA Windows Mobile 6 PocketPc (Phone Edition)(TyTn)
I would like to use my PDA as a PAN server to use its internet connection with my laptop (PC -> PDA -> Internet. I've paired the two devices, but when I activated the Internet sharing on my PDA i've no feature on my laptop to access the PAN created by the PDA.

Sorry for the typo. It's a BDC source, I use a WCF client to access a SQL Database (HR External System) that has 4 fields that are necessary to present in the Sharepoint User Profile. The issue occurs with a Full or a Delta Sync. The problem is that if the
BDC source is not present the fields are deleted (I get a SPS-Dummy Added and all of the pbjects in the BDC Connector Space are deleted).
I do not want this to happen. I do not want the User Profile Attributes/Fields to be empty/deleted if there is no connection I simply want them to stay what they are... I have two issues.
1) Is that the even if i change my data on SQL Server side, the changes do not get picked up by the sync. Since the only field that is being tested for change is an ADid, since the id does not change the BDC does not consider them changes.
2) If there is no connection I do not want the attributes to be deleted. I have not figured out a way to effectively do this.
So my issue appears to be simple to solve, but after 4 days and hundreds of tutorial pages read I have yet to figure out a proper way to do this.
Here is the pseudo-specification
The Fields that come form the HR System (SQL Server) are to be presented in the user profile. If there is no connection to the BDC file the fields remain as they are until there is a connection and updates can be made. Changes to any of the fields are performed
manually in the HR system. These changes must be picked up by the daily sync.

SharePoint 2013 and SQL Server 2012 allows us some additional options to create HA and DR sites through AlwaysOn Availablibity Groups and Listeners. Problem that I'm having is that I have a DR site that is at a different location. Microsoft
recommends not to stretch the farm across different locations, so I've created a separate farm for DR. I have my content database in an Availability Group so that is Asynchronously commits data changes across the 2 locations. My DR site
connects to the content database through a Listener.
Since the DR site is connecting to the content database through the Listener, it is connecting the primary replica. In order to connect to the Read Only secondary replica, I need to add "ApplicationIntent=ReadOnly"
to the connection string. How do you do that?

It supports a secondary being Readable, that is all it is telling you. It does not support, nor implement, Read-Intent. This is expected behavior. You can look at the Conn Strings via PowerShell, of course:

I am testing my application with ocj4 to see how it performs. But I have some doubts about connection pooling.My application only contains jsp and servlets. My database is oracle 8.1.7 and I use the following data-source.xml entry:

How to set up Dreamweaver to connect to new subdomain

I have two websites and both have been with different webhosts for a long time. I had been using Dreamweaver to manage both just fine. I recently changed webhosts and now have one webhost account with a primary domain for one website and a subdomain for the second website - I'm saving lots of money. They both have the same user name and password. I've got the primary domain working with Dreamweaver now, but cannot connect my other website to its subfolder in the the primary domain. I keep getting an error message saying there is an FTP error and it cannot open the remote subfolder. Access denied or the folder may not exist. I've uploaded the site that is defined as the subdomain with the host's Java applet - a simple client server. And the site is there and running, but I cannot figure out how to connect and manage with Dreamweaver. As I was fooling around I did something and Dreamweaver uploaded a new folder called by the primary domain's name and put the one file I was experimenting with in it. The upload worked somehow, but it was put in the wrong place and the remote view of that website in Dreamweaver was showing only that file. I've deleted that extra file, but can't figure out what I'm doing wrong and why I cannot get a connection to the remote server. I've checked and rechecked all my site settings. The settings for the site that is the subdomain are exactly that of the primary domain except that the host directory is has the added "/subDomainName/"
I'm doing something basic wrong here. Am I right that Dreamweaver will be able to handle both sites separately even though they are nested on the remote server?
I'm not a professional web designer, so I'm sure I'm failing to get something simple here. Any help would be appreciated.

Open up Settings, and scroll down a lot until you see "Twitter" and "Facebook" right next to each other. From there, it's a simple matter of signing in.
