How to Set Prompt of a Field in OAF using lookup

Hi Gurus!!
We have a requirement to change the Prompt of some fields and also have to give the flexibilty to the business user's so that in case if they wants to change the promt of a field in future then they should also be able to change it.
Is it possible to set the promt of field using lookup. So, that if users want to change it then they can go and change the lookup value .
If yes, can you please give me an example of this code .
Please let me know if any alternative approch is there to achive this requirement.
Any help would be grately appreciated.

is the message is printing the value,?
projNum.setPrompt(pageContext.getMessage("FND", "FND_TEST1", null));
Instead of above can you try with a hardcoded value like,
make sure projNum is not null, you can just print the value projNum.
projNum.setPrompt("Test Prompt");
And one more way you can try is create a VO which will pickup the value from Lookup
and use dataBinding (PROMPT_ATTR) and set the value.
You can search the forum for how to use the dataBinding
Eg.

In order to automate Acrobat, you need to have Acrobat installed. There is
nothing you can do with just the DLLs. As was already stated, Acrobat is
not licensed for use on a server, but regardless of that, it's also
not technically suitable for server use. You need to find a solution
outside of Acrobat to solve your problem.
It also seems that you don't have a good understanding of what is going in
inside a PDF file. PDF is a very complex file format, and based on
your questions
and followup questions, you need to spend a considerable amount of time
getting familiar with the PDF file format to understand how color works in
the PDF context. Reader the PDF spec, while paying special attention to the
section about color. You will find out that if you want to convert the
color space of a "PDF file", you actually need to convert the color space
associated with every single object in your PDF file. That is fairly simple
for vector graphic and text, but when it comes to images, you may have to
convert the image data. Once you have a good understanding of what it is
you need to do within the PDF file, then you can start looking for tools
that allow you to do that. Again, Acrobat and therefore the Acrobat SDK is
not suitable for this task. If you want to stay with Adobe products take a
serious look at the PDF Library, which his licensed through Datalogics (
http://www.datalogics.com/products/pdf/pdflibrary/). As you've mentioned,
there are other, non-Adobe PDF libraries that you can also use, but this is
the Acrobat SDK forum, so I won't discuss any of those 3rd party solutions.
You are wasting your time while looking for a simple solution that does not
exist.

How to set the 'default to' field of a dashboard prompt to yesterday?

Hi everyone,
I have a dashboard prompt on a date (fully qualified name Date.Date and type Date).
I also have a simple report with two columns: Date.Date and a mesure (whatever the name).
I managed to filter on the day before the current date in the report by adding an advanced SQL filter:
Date.Date = Cast(TimestampAdd(SQL_TSI_DAY,-1,@{system.currentTime}) as Date)
Now, I would like the prompt to select the day before the current date by default.
The filter on Date.Date would be 'is prompted' or so.
How do I set the "Default to" field of the prompt?

here.. you need to write your Logical SQL..
which defaults to the previous date
some thing like this..

How to set a default "from" field on outgoing Mail message

i read through the last few pages of this support forum and googled my topic but i havent found a suitable solution.
in Mail v 3 (3.4) there is a "From:" field in any outgoing mail. very useful for those of us with multiple non-accounts and/or .Mac aliases. i generally set a specific outgoing mail server (so that field is removed from outgoing email).
my problem is how to set a default outgoing email address so that my recipients always get from a certain (eg work) email address when i am at work. at work, anything i send, i want to show my work email without always having to manually select the "FROM" field in the outgoing email.
( aside: i had read that Mail version 3 was supposed to auto-select any reply so that the reply would come from the same email i orginally sent as. this does not work on my mac.)
This problem is exacerbated as Mail auto-rotates between my 4 email accounts/aliases (which are all listed (correctly) in the FROM field. it would be great if this list could be fixed with a default FROM address.
eg i send an email from my work email address (FROM: [email protected]) the next email i send will be rotated through my list of .mac aliases. i.e. the next email i send will not be from [email protected], but from [email protected] the next time it might move on to [email protected] or it might revert to [email protected]
any thoughts on how to fix?
i have tried deleting the home/library/preferences/com.apple.mail.plist. that is fine, but any .mac aliases (which i do use, but i dont want to be listed in the "FROM" field) are listed in the "FROM" field, and are auto-switched through my Mail again.
i looked through Rules and Automator, but no obvious help there. any thoughts?

Did you try Preferences > Accounts > Account Information and entering these other email aliases in the Email Address: field, separated by commas? That would give you a pop-down menu in the New Message window letting you choose which alias to use when sending an email.
If you go to Preferences > Composing, there should be a pop-down menu near the middle of that window labeled "Send new mail from:" which will let you choose any email address you have entered in the Account Information field mentioned above, or "Account of last viewed mailbox" as the default.

Like this:

How to set cursor in perticular field Table Maintence generator?

I have created a table with 2 fields Start_date and End_date. Now my requirement is i have to validate the both date field as Start_Date must be LESS than or EQUAL to End_Date. In table maintenance maintenance generator i have created a event VALIDATE_DATE in event 21. Its validating perfectly. The issue is after the ERROR message the Cursor is going to the key field. I want to set the cursor at End_Date field.
I used
data:ly_pos type i.
IF NOT start_date LE end_date.
SET CURSOR FIELD 'TABLE_NAME-END_DATE' LINE sy-linno OFFSET lv_pos.
MESSAGE exxx(MsgClass).
ENDIF.
Its working for the FIRST time i am entering the new data. Next time the cursor going to the KEY field. I have been asked not to write code in SE80. Anyhow i have to set the cursor in table maintenance maintenance generator event.

Please follow the below method:
Go to Maintainance Screen (where you want the cursor setting). Goto Status - > Remember the screen name -> Double click on Program name.. Open Object list and expant Screen Tree -> double click on the same screen Number -> Go to its first tab attributs -> Change Mode -> Do F4 on Cursor Position field -> Choose the field where you want the cursor.
But this way will always set the cursor at the HardCoded Field Name.

How to set Exch.rate-acct. field on Billing tab of billing document item

In R/3 4.7, we have billing documents with different values for Exch. Rate on each line item. We want the values to appear also in the Exch.rate-acct. field so the values will apply to the line items on the FI document. They are greyed out for us.
Does anyone know what to set to allow this field to be entered?

Not sure about 4.7, we used userexit_fill_vbrk_vbrp (rv60afzc) back on 4.5 to populate Exch.rate-acct field with the rate which was different from the rate used for invoice. I think you may put some logic into this userexit to populate the field based on your rules.

I want to install 2 or 3 of these cameras in my mother's home, and I will have AT&T DSL service (one dynamic IP address) there with only a modem/wireless router. I want to access the cameras from my laptop or from my Blackberry Tour when I am traveling. Also want to allow access for my other relatives. I do not have another home computer to serve as a WHS, and my laptop is obviously not connected to the internet all of the time. Can I use the DDNS setup with DynDNS to provide access? By default a JPanel uses a FlowLayout when created and by default a FlowLayout uses center alignment. Read the FlowLayout API to find out how to use left alignment.
Also each individual component has an alignmentX and alignmentY value which is set to 0.5 (center aligned). Some LayoutManagers will take this value into consideration. Read the Component API for more information.

1. How to set the organizer mail id using the method of CL_APPOINTMENT class? I have used the method SET_ORGANIZER of class CL_APPOINTMENT by passing my SAP user name 'GCM' but when i received the appointment within outlook, i am able see my server mail id like 'Madhu G C <[email protected]>' instead of my outlook mail id '[email protected]'.
2. How to set reoccursive meeting request in Outlook using cl_appoinment?Example: i have a training on alternative days say on 01-mar, 03-Mar, 05-mar. When i book the course, i should get these alternative days in outlook in a single meeting request?

A quota template consists of storage limit values that specify the maximum amount of data that can be stored in a site collection. When the storage limit is reached, a quota template can also trigger an e-mail alert to the site
collection administrator. You can create a quota template that can be applied to any site collection in the farm. The storage limit applies to the sum of the content sizes for the top-level site and all subsites within the site collection.
You can create quota template using powershell, ojbect module and sharepoint UI.
Create new Quota template using powershell:
$newQuotaTemplate = New-Object Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.SPQuotaTemplate
