Naveen,
This can be done through the creation of a "Mass Data Run" for your custom business object.
You'll also need a Custom Query for your BusinessObject (you can't just use QueryByElements).
Basically, you'll create a Query that allows you to select which BusinessObjects will be processed, select which Action that will be executed at the scheduled time, and then, once your mass data run is activated, you can add those screens to the main work center you use for your custom business object, then, through the front end, schedule the MDR to run periodically.

As you know, JBOSS can set schedule to do something. So I want to use this facility to schedule a task. The task is as follows,
1. At 23h59'59 everyday, the task will be done.
2. Or At 23h59'59 in the last date of month, the task will be done.
I use Jboss 3.2.1 and schedule_service.xml. So how can I config this xml file for two above tasks.
I found the config code for the period timer, but in my case, it cannot be in useful. See the following,

Hope you haven't been waiting for two years for this but for sake of reference:
1) You could write your own code that is scheduled to run frequently, say every minute, and then when this is fired off you work out for yourself if its not time to do anything usefull. Basically you get polled and you manage your own list of taks.
2) You can make use of InitialStartDate and SchedulePeriod to make jobs fire at set times a day. Read up on the docs for jboss and you'll see that you can set the start date in the past and then set the schedule period to a day in milliseconds to get a job run once every day. eg:

<attribute name="SchedulePeriod">86400000</attribute>
would run at 1:12pm every day (The Initial Start Date is in your locale format). I think you'd need to use a combination of daily run jobs and your own date checking, to try and get something run on the last day of every month.

How attestation process scheduler runs?

When i create an attestation process with following details
starting date:10 August 2010
schedule: run every one days
Please tell me how many times in a day will this process run?
When I tried to create attestation with above details,execution history showed that the process got executed multiple times in a day.

It might be not what you had in mind but this might be a solution:
mount a partition of your networked drive on: /var/log
then all your logs will be on the NFS drive without editting a boatload of configs.
You know that it is, of course, close to impossible to catch log-entries that happen before your NFS-mount,
so you might want to consider something like this when mounting:
kill -SIGSTOP <all logger-pids>
cp -a /var/log /dev/shm/logtmp
mount NFS-volume on /var/log
cp -a /dev/shm/logtmp /var/log
kill -SIGCONT <all logger-pids>
this is it..more or less, far from complete ofcourse but you get the idea of what it is supposed to do.
remember that you can't have, ever, any bootlog directly written to NFS during boot because during boot time your NFS is not mounted yet

Scheduling request set to run in conc manager

Hi,
I need to schedule a request set to run in conc manger once every three hours from Mon - Thurs from 4 am thro 6 p.m. I tried to pick schedule on specific days in the conc program submit form - it looks like it will run only once on specific days. I cannot pick periodic scheduling because it will fire on all days once every three hours. How can I do this? Should I need to create a seperate conc manager and create work shift for that manager. How I can make this request set to use that manager to run? Any help is appreciated. This is a high priority ticket to work on.

ATP check using COMAC or go to the transaction COHV - This is used for mass processing and here create a variant for the Mass processing of the availability check
Then go to SM36 create a background job with program name as PPIO_ENTRY
and enter variant as created by you . Now here define schedule job time of mid night like that very few user are working on orders so it will work for you. Also check the option of or after event: in SM36 with basis person.

I have created one Par based application in which i have assigned one role to perticular id dynamically and i scheduled this task by using KM Scheduler. but this scheduler assigns this task for 1 mins or greater than 1 hrs. i wanted to run this task for every 10 mins or 20mins or 30 mins. actually i tried to edit the time table property for KM Scheduler for 10 mins but it not works it take 1 hrs and 10 mins.
so is there any way to edit this time table property and set scheduler time to 10 mins or 20 mins.

Hi Rahul,
If you want to run the scheduler for every 10 minutes, you can create your own timetable and assign it in the scheduler tasks.
Steps:
Goto Sytem Admin -> System Config -> Knowledge Management -> Content Management -> Global Services -> Scheduler Time Table -> Time Table -> Click on New
You can find Scheduler Time Table in advanced options.
Specify the vales as mentioned below and save it:
ID: <any ID as you want>
Minute : 10
Time Zone : GMT+05:30 (Asia/Calcutta) India Standard Time
For other parameters, no need to specify any value.
Then go to Global Services -> Scheduler Tasks -> Your Scheduler Component -> Select the new timetable you have created for timetable parameter and click OK
I have specified timezone as IST time. You can change the time zone as you require.I have done this and its working for me.

INTRODUCTION
A running BC4J application is actually the combination of:
* Your own application files
* BC4J runtime libraries
In order to successfully run your BC4J application in local mode, the first requirement is
that your application server contains the necessary BC4J libraries.
This How To describes the steps required to ensure that you have a functional
BC4J runtime environment installed on your application server.
Oracle IAS 1.0.2 and Tomcat 3.1 will be used as examples.
THE BC4J RUNTIME LIBRARIES
Whatever application server you deploy to, the following libraries
are required in the following order to be in the classpath.
BC4J Libraries:
xmlparserv2.jar
jdev-rt.zip
jbojdbcpatch.zip
connectionmanager.zip
jbohtml.zip
jboimdomains.zip
ordim817.zip
ordvir817.zip
ordhttp.zip
jbomt.zip
jbodomorcl.zip
jboremote.zip

These libraries can be found in <JDEV_HOME>/lib/
INSTALLING THE LIBRARIES ON IAS:
Installing the libraries is simply a matter of copying them to the
application server's filesystem and adding them to the classpath.
IAS's classpath can be modified by editing the file:
<IAS_HOME>\Apache\Jserv\conf\jserv.properties
In this file you'll find the existing pre-installed BC4J libraries which
looks like this:

In the JDK 1.3 APi docs, i found that TimerTask was introduced only in JDK 1.3
Does this mean that BC4J (in jdev 9031) will only work
with JDK 1.3 or later?

How to set Lion built-in FTP Server auto run off

Hello all.
I set FTP Server by using Rumpus Server application.
But Lion's built-in FTP Server is running on the front.
So if I try to connect my FTP Server out of my LAN, I can only connect to the built-in FTP Server despite I wanted to connect Rumpus FTP Server.
It can be solved by unload the built-in FTP Server(using sudo -s launchctl unload...) but every after rebooting I should set it because it is set to run automatically in every booting.
How can I set the auto run off?

well, the ftp server (=ftpd) takes account info from the user list for your mac. so, go to the system settings on your mac, then to users, and then just add another user with a password of your choice (tap on the little plus-sign to add a user!). this will then be a valid user for your ftp server after you restart your ftp server.
the other thing you want to do, about the home directory, is called chroot. you can set the home directory of a specific ftp-user to be another directory then the standard. for this, there are configuration directives in the configuration file in /private/etc/ftpd.conf which you have to edit by hand. so make sure what you do there.

How to set the XML tree to be collapsed by default at run time?

I am developing a simple software in Java, to improve my programming skills, the output of this program is an XML file. I am very new to XML. My question is that, every time the XML file is opened the tree is in expanded form, which appears to be the default setting at run time. I want it to be fully collapsed when the XML file is opened. I have read about certain solutions to this problem by using XSL or CSS. I am not familiar with XSL at the moment so I have not explored it yet. Is there any other way around this problem.
I would like someone to just point me in the right direction so that I can eventually get to the answer.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

If you are asking to control the XML display in text editor when the XML is opened, I think you can't control it through the java. How the individual editor shows the XML is their property. For example, if you open the file in notepad, you may not get the pretty XML however if you open if the file in XML editor like XMLSpy, you may get its hierarchical representation.

I have also tried the command without much luck either:

All outgoing traffic needs to use the proxy wwwproxy (alias to http://proxypac/proxy.pac) on port 80, where it will prompt for valid authentication before allowing to get through.
There is no problem pinging www.yahoo.com from this system.
I am running jdk1.6.0_03, Netbeans 6.0 on Windows XP platform.
I have tried Greg Sporar's Blog on setting the JVM option in Sun Java System Application Server (GlassFish) and
Java Control Panel - Use browser settings without success.
