How to set style in f:facet within af:table

Hi all,
I have this code segment:
<af:table ..>
<f:facet name="header">
<af:panelBox width="100%" ../>
</f:facet>
<af:column>
My question is that how do I set the style of the <f:facet> such that it's borderless.
I tried inlineStyle for <af:panelBox>, it turns out that the <f:facet> is wrapping it and I have to set the border style for <f:facet>.
I tried to find one in this url for skin selecors: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/htdocs/partners/addins/exchange/jsf/doc/skin-selectors.html, but I couldn't see one likely.
Could someone give me a hand please?

Have you looked at the html that is output (with Firebug) perhaps and seen what sort of style classes are associated with your table component? in 11g it seems that there are more human-readable style classes that you can guess at by looking at the html source.

How to avoid validation of input items within af table and javascript

Hi all,
I developed a form which includes table and commandButton. Some input items are required. I want them to validate while just button pressed.
And everything was ok, this scenario was working well. But when table presents only one row, selecting row does not work. See alsa plz: Table row selection --> might be 9th post
I applied to my jsff the solution which is told in above link. It works previous issue but this time, javascript caused another problem that is inconsistent validation. How can i resolve that? Any suggestion?

How to apply style to partial text within a tag in xml file

I have created a webpage using Dreamweaver CS4 Spry Regions. Everything is functioning as expecting, however now I need to apply a style to part of the text. Every occurance of the company name needs to be in italics - the problem is that the company name appears within different parts of the text within a set of tags.

In this example, only "company name" needs to be italicized. We have created an XSL file that applies the italics properly when the XML file is viewed in the browser. But it does not have any effect on the final web page - as though spry is blocking the XSL or we've missed a step in linking all the files together.

Notice the "Scripting: N/A" bit at the top.
I use this site a lot - not because I'm particularly keen on MS/IE but because at the bottom of each entry you get confirmation of whether or not the setting/attribute/etc is standard or not and the pages are kept up to date.
I have to say that this is only the second time I've come across someone trying to use this. The first time we just decided to leave it. I can see the importance of using it to stop someone overriding styling, but as I mentioned above, it is possible to create an entire script tag using javascript and, therefore, you can override it. Seems silly to me, but there you go!
It would also be better, in my view, if they had used a better word for this setting - something like java's "final" - as, the first time I saw it I took it to mean "make more bolder" or "highlight it" or somesuch thing.

I'm not sure that I understand what you want. My guess is that you should put the logo in the margin on the page. Then it will appear on every page.

How to set a default value in an ADF table when adding a new row

Hi Guys,
I have a view object which I am using to create an ADF table. I also have a button which uses a CreateInsert binding to add a new row to the table. I have four fields: created_by, creation_date, last_update_by and last_update_date.
I want these values to be set automatically when I click add new row.
The values I want are:
created_by - admin
creation_date - sysdate
last_update_by - admin
lsat_update_date - sysdate
Any suggestions on how to do this would be appreciated

Those four fields can be set completely declaratively in the Entity Object (check out the History Colum feature). Copied from the (11g) documentation:
If you need to keep track of historical information in your entity object, such as when an entity was created or modified and by whom, or the number of times the entity has been modified, you specify an attribute with the History Column option selected (in the Edit Attribute dialog).
If an attribute's data type is Number, String, or Date, and if it is not part of the primary key, then you can enable this property to have your entity automatically maintain the attribute's value for historical auditing. How the framework handles the attribute depends which type of history attribute you indicate:
* Created On: This attribute is populated with the time stamp of when the row was created. The time stamp is obtained from the database.
* Created By: The attribute is populated with the name of the user who created the row. The user name is obtained using the getUserPrincipalName() method on the Session object.
* Modified On: This attribute is populated with the time stamp whenever the row is updated/created.
* Modified By: This attribute is populated with the name of the user who creates or updates the row.
* Version Number: This attribute is populated with a long value that is incremented whenever a row is created or updated.

i have a checkbox as first column in my ALV grid output using oops alv, when i select some checkbox, that rows have to be selected and i need to process only selected rows in user command.
i have given the below code also in fieldcatolg.

How to Set Precision of Column Footer Total for Table Bean?

I am doing an OAF extension, and I have a table for which I need to increase the precision of the column values from 2 decimal places to 5. I did this successfully in the view object for the row values, but the table footer totals still have 2 decimal places. I can't seem to find anyway to set this. Anyone know how to do this?

You can format the content of the totalRow item programmatically. However, setting a formatting option such as CURRENCY_CODE, on an individual web bean's text attribute, under the total column, does not format the total row's values. How to set standart fields in SHIPPING and SALES tables in items?

Hello SDN!
I need to fill some standart fields in CT_SHIPPING and CT_SALES tables (sorry, I don't know their real names, written names used commonly in BADI) for items. I've got a BADI for header (extends IF_EX_CRM_ISA_BASKET_HEAD) and item (extends IF_EX_CRM_ISA_BASKET_ITEM) with methods CHANGEHEAD_BEFORE_ORDER and CHANGEITEMS_BEFORE_ORDER correspondenly. In these methods I try to fill required fields. These fields filled OK for header, but when I tried to fill fields for item it still saved to header. In these tables REF_KIND sets 'B' for item, REF_GUID also sets properly... Can anybody give rules for filling these fields? What main fields (such as REF_KIND) must be set and which values must they have?

Yes, if you have a "fully loaded" order - I mean some good order that has all the business data (such as shipping, sales ord, schedline etc. available. Usually an order that has been created in CRM or downloaded from R/3 should do to understand the data structures.
To start with, just give the Transaction Number as the onl;y input and execute. And read through the output - each set (ET_SHIPPING) etc you are interested in. The several GUID and REF_GUID and REF_KINDs can be better understood with an example than me providing the explanation and code.
An equivalent counterpart to this report program is the CRM_ORDER_READ, which does the same thing but does not let you play with the maintain part. CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN program allows you to try the ipdate / change / maintain.
