How to set the orientation in Adobe X and does this affect whether PDF prints in landscape/portrait
How do I set the orientation for a PDF document in Adobe X? Also if I set the orientation in Adobe X then does that mean the printer will automatically print it in either portrait or landscape or would that have to be configured on the printer?
Under Document (or TOOLS in AAX) you use Rotate Pages. When saved, the document should retain the rotation. As for the print, I think it will still print OK, but am not sure. Bottom line, just try it (that is exactly what I would do) on a page or two.

I currently have a version of logic 7.1 on my system. I also have Logic 8. Which is nice but somewhat annoying! (More of that another time). My question is I need to upgrade my version of 7.1 to 7.2 and so on but there isn't a download for this on the site. I remember that you needed to buy it in the past but I've bought 8 now so surely they can't still be charging for 7.2. Where/how do I get it?

How to set the language in Safari? why is this so complicated?

I have already installed Safari 5 but it is in French! I would like to change it into English. I don't find any language setting in the different menu/submenu/preference!
I am using win7.
While searching the web, I found that I have to that in the program file folder in the Safari.resources. When I deleted the fr.lproj nothing happened except reinstall the French language file!
I tried to copy the content of en.lproj folder (which contains one file named bindict) and I put it in the fr.lproj but no change neither!
Why changing the interface language is so complicated in Safari ?
I think I will uninstall Safari and go back to Firefox.

How to avoid the dialog box "SAVE, Open, Cancel" When we take a pdf print.
I have an item entry form. User select different items and then submit the order by pressing submit button.
I want that when the user click the submit button he is directet to the print preview page. I have done that and it is running fine but the issue is when user click on the submit button the dialog box appear showing file name and an option to save or open the file. I want to avoid that dialog box and I want that the file is opened directly.
In shot I want that the user goes directly to the open file option instead of giving him the options.

I thought this is a browser behavior. In Firefox it asks the first time what I want to do.
If I select open and select the checkbox to do that always like that, it's opening directly.
I searched a bit in javascript, use an iframe or specify different targets, the behavior is the same, unless I check the checkbox I get the dialog box. Maybe there's a workaround, but I didn't find that yet.

I am using AbstractTableModel and I can't figure out how to set the columns' width inside my JTable?
This following code does not work.

Thanks in advance.The DataModel (AbstractTableModel or otherwise) has nothing to do with the table column size. The DataModel is used to store data.
When you create a JTable using a DataModel then a TableColumn is created for each column in the DataModel using a default column size. The normal order of creation would be:
TableModel model = new DefaultTableModel(...);
JTable table = new JTable(model);
Now that the table and table columns are created you can change the size of the columns:
int vColIndex = 1;
TableColumn col = table.getColumnModel().getColumn(vColIndex);
int width=399;
col.setPreferredWidth(width);
So your code looks ok.
However, if somewhere in you code you do:
a) table.setModel(...)
b) fireTableStructureChanged();
then the table columns are recreated based on the current DataModel and the table column size would be reset to the default values. -

You probably had 9.3 already installed, then you pulled out your 6.0 Acrobat Professional disk and installed that.
What you need to do is "remove" your Adobe 9.3.
Re-start your machine. Then reload Adobe ...try Adobe 8.
Now it won't use Acrobat 6.0. At this point, select an existing PDF file, RIGHT click, select "Open With...". You won't probably see Acrobat 6.0 so you have to "BROWSE" ... find Adobe, then find "6.0". Select.
At this point Adobe 8 will be your default, but, you can always select 6.0 by "right clicking" the PDF first, when you want to. -
