SU numbers in outbound delivery

Dear all,
I have following scenario: STO-Outbound Delivery-PGI-GR-TO
In the delivery I have Su numbers informed in tab Items: Pallet Details, when GR is done via MIGO, then we execute LT06 for palletization, at this point we would like the system to take SU numbers in our delivery, however the system is creating new numbers.
Is it possible to create this TO with SUs numbers included in our outbound delivery.
Thanks.

  • Creation of sub item with serial numbers in outbound delivery

    Hi All,
We need to create a sub item for an Outbound Delivery main item in change mode with serial numbers for sub item.
    Process flow:
    1. Sales order item created with main item
    2. Outbound Delivery created with main item
    3. Outbound Delivery interfaced to external logistics sytem
    4. External logistics system pick the main item and a sub item (packaging) from warehosue and ship to customer
    5. External logistics sytems send delivery pick confirmation interface with main item details and serial numbers for sub item
Now we have to create a sub item with serial numbers in the delivery referencing the same main item.
NB: Delivey can have multiple similar main items but there is only material number in SAP for sub item. Hence the requirement to identify relevant sub item serial numbers to each delivery main item.
Can you kindly tell me in what possible ways we can create sub item with serial numbers for a deliveyr main item in change mode.
    Thanks in advance

  • Scan of multiple serial numbers in outbound delivery

    Hi gurus,
I need to record several serial numbers in an outbound delivery (VL02N) at the picking time into "Extras" / "Serial Numbers". At that time, a pop up appears to record SNs.
To achieve this, I'm using a scanner for better efficiency.
My problem : when I scan one serial number, system does not put the cursor on the next line, but go out of the pop up even if remaining SN need to be enter.
It is true my scan simulate an "enter" after each scan and in this transaction "enter" means go out of the pop up.
This is a different behavior as in MIGO, because in this transaction after a scan of a SN, the cursor directly goes on the next line, much more like a tabulation behavior.
Does anybody know how to change the "enter" behavior in the recording of SN in outbound delivery to match with this one from MIGO?
I have no possibility to change the behavior on the scanner itself.

  • Subsequent outbound delivery split with serial numbers

    Hi,
I have a question about subsequent outbound delivery split with already assigned serial numbers.
    Case:
First delivery is created and serial numbers are assigned. Now we have to do a subsequent delivery split for that delivery. In SAP standard, it's not possible to do a subsequent delivery split if serial numbers are already assigned.
Does anyone know how we can handle this?
    Best Regards,
    Florian

well, seems to be not possible at all.

  • Creation of virtual outbound delivery from MIGO.

    Hi All,
Scenario - Material, packing material, virtual Goods receipt and virtual outbound delivery and PGI, and final billing.
We have a scenario wherein we have a Sales Scheduling Agreement for a material is created. The requirement will be generated and send to a vendor.
The vendor will send goods with packing material directly to the customer ( as it happens in third party ). Packaging material will be added in MIGO as non order item. Packing material will have unique identifiers numbers which the vendor will send and will be updated in MIGO ( as text ).
At the same time vendor will also send the data to SAP and on that basis MM guys will do a inbound delivery and Goods Receipt ( MIGO ).
This is the place where I need help.
As per requirement, we want to create an Outbound Delivery from the MIGO transaction. As soon as MIGO is saved, a outbound delivery should be created for already existing sales scheduling agreement. Delivery should have the main material and the packing materials and the Text ( to be copied from MIGO ).
I want to know how this can be acheived. Plz sugegst User Exits / BADI's etc.
    Regards,
    Danny.

Thanks for your valuable replies. I need some more help as the requirement is changed a bit.
We will get an ASN with only one line item as main material with packaging material text ( no line item for packaging material ). In MM side they will create n inbound delivery with only one item - main material with text in text field.
We want to create a outbound delivery on Post Goods Receipt save action.
The outbound delivery should have 2 line items, 1st  for main material referencing the sales scheduling agreement, and 2nd needs to be programmatically added which will have Packaging material with text saved in text tab.
As suggested by Lakshmipathi Sir, I check include MV50AFZ1, USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT. But I am bit confused if this can be used for triggering Outbound delivery from PGR.
Request Gurus to suggest the best option for this requirement.
    Regards,
    Danny.

  • BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE update VBFA or not for Outbound Delivery?

    Dear Gurus,
When I try to use BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE to do the goods receipt for the outbound delivery as the replacement for MIGO transaction, I use 01 as movement code and the bapi create material document and updating MSEG. But it doesn't update VBFA so the items is still showed in MIGO and cannot post there (because it is already moved in BAPI in program.)
Anybody have any suggestion for this situation? Thanks a lot and points will be rewarded.

    Hello,
When you use BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE  to post Goods Receipt for outbound delivery, reference documents at header and line items should be delivery number and line numbers (BAPI2017_GM_HEAD_01-REF_DOC_NO, BAPI2017_GM_ITEM_CREATE-DELIV_NUMB_TO_SEARCH & BAPI2017_GM_ITEM_CREATE-DELIV_ITEM_TO_SEARCH). Then only document flow will be updated.
    Thanks,
    Venu

  • Material document posted during PGI for Outbound Delivery

    Dear Experts,
We have an Outbound Delivery having multiple line items.
I have a couple of questions.
1). How may material doc numbers will be generated if I do PGI multiple times?
2). Can I have 5 different material docs if I post GI 5 times (Per line). Is this scenario possible?
Your inputs are valuable. Kindly revert
    Thanks,
    Shetty

    Hi Harry
In my scenario, Outbound delivery having 5 lines.
I created TO a and confirmed TO for only 2 lines.
Now when I do PGI for outbound delivery, GI is done for only those 2 lines with confirmed TO
I will do the rest of GI again
In this scenario, what will happen? how many material docs are posted?
    Thanks

Step #2  I assigned the HU to my Outbound delivery by updating VPOBJKEY and VPOBJ field of VEKP table. QUERY.
This also successful. I am now able to see the HU attached to the Outbound delivery.:)
Step #3  But I am not sure how to do the packing/ Assign Serial numbers.  Need help?

    Hi krishna,
So irrespective of how many lines a outbound delivery has, there will be only one material document??
    How about bacth split?
I will partially confirm the TO and then PGI only for confirmed TOs.
Then I will confirm the TO completely and PGI again for rest of the lines.
Now I have done PGI more that 1 time.
How many material docs exists in MB51 now??
    Thanks,

  • Pack existing Handling Units into outbound delivery

    Hi,
The current scenario is that a WHSCON IDoc is passed into SAP which will pack handling units onto an inbound delivery. As part of this processing the IDoc will create the HU records on VEKP.
Now, we are sending in a similar WHSCON IDoc to pack the same HU onto an outbound delivery. However, the IDoc is failing. It appears that the IDoc wants to create the HU instead of simply using the existing one.
Has anybody faced a similar issue.
    Thanks
    Martin

    Hallo!
Yes, I have the same problem now.
In the past we had 2 wm sub systems which send data via WHSCON to SAP and pack the delivery items.
To avoid error messages we "kill" the old vekp-record by setting the vekp-status to "0099" with a hart update and create new hu records.
Nowadays this solution is not sufficient,  because the old hu has serial numbers.
    Any solution in sight?
    bye

  • Can outbound delivery pick update be sent from Decentralized WM to ERP?

(I moved this thread from the ERP -Logistics Materials Management (MM) forum)
We are running batch management and DWM/ERP both on ECC 6.0
I have a request to be able to have the DWM pick information on an outbound delivery reflected as "scheduled for delivery" in the ERP system.  Specifically, i need to show in the ERP system which batches have been already picked on the outbound delivery.
i've read the documentation on the "subsequent changes to distributed deliveries".  The SHP_OBDLV_CHANGE idoc seems like the right method to pass the "pick quantity" and "batch" from the line item on the delivery.  However, it is not part of the standard IDOC.  Ultimately, i would like to see MMBE in ERP reflect the batches that have been picked on the DN in DWM.
    Has anyone successfully done this?
Is what I'm proposing even possible?

    Anandha,
First off, thank you for your comments.  You noted a couple of things that i still have a questions about.
    1.  "Once the delivery is picked (TO created and confirmed) in the DWM system, the delivery confirmation Idoc must trigger to update the ERP system. BAPI SHP_OBDLV_CONFIRM_DECENTRAL should update the ERP system where the PGI is posted."
Currently, we use the SHP_OBDLV_CONFIRM_DECENTRAL iDOC to send PGI data from DWM to ERP.  Are you saying that I can trigger an "initial" update of the delivery with the "pick" information (batch split, quantity)?  BAPI SHP_OBDLV_CONFIRM_DECENTRAL would be the way I would do that?  Would this BAPI create an iDOC?
    2. "If the batch is changed in the ERP while the IDoc has been to DWM, there could be errors while posting the PGI since the batch number in the ERP system and DWM may not be the same. When the batch number is changed in the DWM system during the picking, we had someone to monitor those Idoc's that failed to update the ERP and had them manually edit the Idoc with the correct batch numbers before saving it."
Currently, we do not allow changes to the Delivery in ERP once it has distributed to DWM.  Thus, i don't think that we will have the same problems as you have had.  However, in order to enable the Delivery update of pick information in #1, what would be required to allow the Delivery to be modifiable in ERP?
    Thanks again,
    Andy

  • Setting in ERP system required: replicate Inbound/Outbound delivery to EWM

    Hi Experts.
I have done all primary Configuration Settings for the ERP System and EWM system (using SPM setting, bcez its is ecc 6.0 sr2 ench pack 2 or 3)
Suppose, plant is 0001, storage location 0001 is mapped to warehouse number EW1 in ERP
Warehouse numbers are mapped ERP (EW1) and EWM system (EWM1)
ERP system.   For Inbound delivery processing in VL60
1)My question how to configure new Vendor with receiving point should be< EWM1> and warehouse number should be <EW1>  ( to replicated inbound delivery in EWM SYSTEM )
    For outbound setting for VL01N.
    2) How to configure
    Shipping to <EWM1>
Delivery type & Sales area ( sales org, Distribution channel , division ) .let me know any configuration required  for delivery type & sale area. ( to replicated outbound delivery in EWM SYSTEM).

ERP system. For Inbound delivery processing in VL60
1)My question how to configure new Vendor with receiving point should be< EWM1> and warehouse number should be <EW1> ( to replicated inbound delivery in EWM SYSTEM )
There is no relation between a vendor and the receiving point. Actually, you may not require a 'receiving point' to be able to transmit the ECC inbound delvy to EWM. The setting that will drive is the assignment of ECC 'dummy' Warehouse to Plant/storage location and the assignment of this ECC 'dummy' warehouse to EWM Warehouse, in ECC. Similar setting is to be made in EWM where the assignment of business system is made with ECC dummy warehouse and EWM warehouse, in EWM.
In addition to this, you'll need to have the mapping of ERP document type to EWM document type along with the mapping ot ERP item category to EWM item type.
The above note is the same for this as well.

  • Updating Serialnumbers automatically while creating Outbound Delivery

    Hi Experts,
My requirement is to populate serial numbers automatically while saving the outbound delivery (VL01N).
I tried with user exits, but I am unable to succeed.
    I am using ECC5.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

    Hi Veera,
For an example if there is a  need to update some table with delivery number and serial number on saving a delivery:
    in include MV50AFZ1:
    FORM USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT.
    *{   INSERT <TR#>
"work structure LIKP has the header info here
"Use that and fill the required workstructure and update the correponding table

  • CREATE OUTBOUND DELIVERY WITH ORDER REFERENCE

    Hi All,
I am working on VL01N Tcode for "CREATE OUTBOUND DELIVERY WITH ORDER REFERENCE", where Return Check serial number of incoming material in case of sales return and compare against serial number in outgoing delivery. If the serial number doesnu2019t match then it should throw an error.
For the same when serial number is entered after selecting, EXTRAS-> Serial Number. If it does not match with Return Check serial number of incoming material in case of sales return and compare against serial number in outgoing delivery, for the same i am using a BADI  LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC and method DELIVERY_FINAL_CHECK, i am not able to find where this value entered is stored.
    Please help.
    Regards,
    Nagesh

    Hi Venkat,
Thanx for the reply, but ANZSN field only mentions Number of serial numbers, but my query is to check Serial Number GERNR entered when selecting item number and selecting EXTRAS->SERIAL NUMBER and entered serial number with Check serial number of incoming material in case of sales return and compare against serial number in outgoing delivery.
    Please let me know.

  • Serial number assignment to batch split position in outbound delivery

    Hello All,
I have a question for which I can't find any answer even though I have been struggling through several forums, etc. Let me explain it:
I create a outbound delivery for material XYZ which is batch managed and serial number managed. An automatic batch determination takes place. Thus a batch split is created for the main item 10. Since the serial number is required, I enter the serial number for the batch split position 900001. Press enter and save.
The problem is, that afterwards the batch split positions aren't shown in the Batch split screen using transaction VL02N (the batch split positions and also the serial number can be displayed via VL03N). The issue is that the serial number entered cannot be removed nor the batch split can be changed anymore.
Message VL429: Batch/Val.type split only possible if no serial numbers are maintained.
It seems to be a standard SAP functionality, but a little bit tricky. Can anybody help me?
    1. How can I remove the serial number assignment for a batch split position?
    2. Is there any customizing setting with which I could perhaps deactivate the check?
Thanks a lot in advance. Any input is appreciatted!

    Hi,
issue has been solved at last. The batch split indicator can be used to display the batch structure of an item. And here the serial number can be removed as well.
