How to setup Send Object With Note

Hi all,
I was trying to send a message to external email.
So, for eg, in ME23N, I click on this "Send object with note" to a address which is type U.
And in SCOT, business object is send as htm file type.
However, when I receive this mail that i send, there is no url being generated.
Below is the content of the email:

Which setting am I missing?
FYI, I'm using ECC 6. Extended notification has been setup.

Thanks for your reply.
However, I don't think it's because of the mail server deleted the attachment.
The htm file is attached to my external mail.
And the htm file said that it will forward me to the link.
I'm wondering which setting am I missing.

How to redefine GOS toolbar function "SEND OBJECT WITH NOTE" for deliveries

Hello Abapers,
for inbound and outbound deliveries (tcodes VL01N, VL02N, VL03N, VL31N, VL32N, VL33N) I have to replace the GOS toolbar function SEND OBJECT WITH NOTE with a redefined function matching the following specifications:
- Title field needs a different content
- Text (note content) should be filled by default, maybe with standard text, but can be overwritten
- All attachments in the attachment list of the object should be included by default or be selectable thru an additional button
Also possible could be an addiitonal toolbar function SEND ATTACHMENTS WITH NOTE as a copy of SEND OBJECT WITH NOTE.
Although I checked the SDN forums for a matching solution, I couldn't find one in tons of GOS threads.
Perhaps someone had solved a similar problem to send obejct with notes from GOS toolbar with several of the object's attachments.
Maybe some GOS classes have to be redefined for that, but this should only be available for deliveries, not for the other BOR types.
I'm waiting for your ideas.

No the list of steps done to solve the issue:
1. Copy of class CL_GOS_SRV_SEND_OBJECT to new class /SIE/IS_BSD_GOS_SRV_SEND_ATT.
2. SM30 for table SGOSATTR: New entry for new service ZSO_SENDATT for the new class.
3. Copy of methods ON_SERVICE_SUCCEEDED, CHECK_STATUS, CREATE_ROOT_ITEM and ON_LINK_CREATED from class CL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_LIST to the new class.
4. New code added to the top of method CHECK_STATUS to show the service for deliveries only:
IF is_lporb-typeid NE 'BUS2015'
AND is_lporb-typeid NE 'LIKP'.
    ep_status = mp_status_invisible.
    EXIT.
ENDIF.
5. Copy of function group SAPLSGOS_OUTBOX and function module SGOS_SEND_OBJECT_WITH_NOTE to own copies.
6. Before calling cl_bcs=>short_message there are several steps to do:
- CALL METHOD cl_binary_relation=>read_links
- CALL FUNCTION 'SO_DOCUMENT_READ_API1' for all links
- cl_document_bcs=>create_document for all those documents (we are using types ATTA, NOTE and URL)
- APPEND those created documents to the attachment table and pass it to i_attachments of cl_bcs=>short_message

When selecting 'Send object with a note' from a purchase order and clicking on the 'Attributes' tab the Sensitivity is set to '502 Confidential'. Can you please advise how to change the sensitivity to '501 Standard'?

How to separate an object with a 3d effect
Hi, I have outlined some text and applied a 3d effect but now I want to separate each letter so I can adjust the colour on the face of the letter with the colour on the extruded part.
I am sure it is probably straight forward but could do with a little help!

I think what the OP wants to do is to keep the extruded part the same color and change the face of the letters to different colors. And he/she did mention that the text is outlined.
If that's the case, I can think of two things to do if you want to keep the 3D effect live (i.e., unexpanded).
1. You could apply a stroke to the outlined text, in the color you want for the extruded part. Then just change the fills individually (Tip: view in Outline mode and use the Group Selection tool to select each letter).
2. If you don't like how the stroke looks on the letters, make all the letters the same color — the color you want for the extruded part. Then make a copy of this group of letters. Select the copy, then click in the Appearance panel to to edit the 3D effect. Put the Extruded Depth at Zero. Now chnage the colors to your liking, then align them with the original. Interestingly, you can't just use the Align functions, you have to eyeball it.

I have defined objects which correspond to my messages, those object have only "byte" attributes and are realizable, exemple

my problem is when i send and object by in.writeObject(myObject) i can't read it in the other hand, because my client is written with C language and i recieve only the name of my class package.package.myclass.
can you help my find out best way to send my objects and be compatible with any client?

Start by following the hint EJP already gave you. Apparently you have some client which expects data in a very specific way which is throwing up all these boundaries that you can't seem to be able to break. HOW is that client expecting it to be? And I'm talking about specifics. Its all bytes, in what way does the client expect the bytes to be. Given that starting point, how would you be able to take what you know about Java (which will really boil down to working with primitives in stead of objects) get you to provide the information in such a way that it is how the client can work with it?
If you require further assistance you'll have to minimally give an example of the specifications - how does the client expect the bytes. Perhaps then someone can provide you with an example of how to produce something like that using Java code.
See how that works? You do something, someone else can do something back for you. That's the only way it is going to work.

I want to setup a group with posting autentication, in the group, some one has the posting right, others have not. I found the "groupspecWithAuthentication, groupspecWithoutAuthentication, encodePostingAuthorization，setPostingPassword" etc. but I cant understand how to use them.
I have dived in this forum and the reference of Stratus 2.0 beta( here) for several days, and I have tried the samples posted by Mike, and I have study almost all threads in this forum, but I still cant find the clue.

2. How can I setup a group, just authorized users can join? I know I can use secret group name, but if authorized user divulge the group name, others without autentication can join the group too. ( because the swf easy to reverse, hacker can sniff the opaque groupspec string, revise the swf, impersonate authorized user, etc).
3. How can I banishment a misdoer from my group?

How sharing a COM object with severeal test dlls in teststand

I have several tests (dlls) accessing a DAQ board (not VI compliant) thanks to a COM object. I would like to keep one instance of this object, passing its reference to each test dll, instead of creating one in each test. How can I do that with TestStand?

You can do one of two things to store a reference to the COM object in the context of TestStand so that you can pass it to successive steps in order for them to all use the same object instance.
First, if you create the object in TestStand with an ActiveX Automation Adapter step, the method call to instantiate the object should return a reference to the object. If you designate an activex reference type local variable as the property to receive the reference during the creation operation, you should be able to pass this into methods that use IDispatch* parameters, or you can use the TestStand API to access the TestStand variable instead.
The second scenario is very similar, in that if you don't create the object in TestStand but inside of a dll instea
d, you can simply pass the parameter back from a function into a TestStand activex reference property variable or use the TestStand API inside of the dll to set the value of an activex reference property to the IDispatch of the object.
To better understand how to use the ActiveX Automation Adapter and ActiveX Reference Variable Types, look at Chapter 13 of the TestStand User Manual under the section entitled "ActiveX Automation Adapter". I have also attached an example to this post that uses the ActiveX Automation Adapter and ActiveX reference datatype in a sequence that writes data to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and generates a chart from the data.

SQL batch doesn't work; How to fetch related objects with fetch group?

I have two questions:
1. SQL Batch doesn't seem to work. I have tested some batch object creation
with BatchLimit set to -1, 0, 1, 25, 100. They all have similar
performance.
kodo.jdbc.DBDictionary: BatchLimit=25
2. How to use custom fetch group to fetch related objects? The example of
custom fetch group only show how to fetch different attributes in different
groups. I have a test cases where I would like to pre-fetch related objects
to save round trip.

to. BTW 9.2.x has problem with batching with deferred constraints so be

I just purchased a new Linksys E2500 and I am unable to setup internet viewing with it. I have went in and done the port forwarding and still I have not had any success. I would appreciate any helpful information.

So the concern that you said is the configuration of the Router ( E2500 ) at home.. So could please inform us the name of the ISP( Internet Service Provider )... So it all depends upon the ISP( Internet Service Provider ) setup...
If you want to configure the router with the help of the CD so for that you need to unistall the existing Cisco Connect Software from the computer...
Reset the Router and power cycle the network...Make the following connectivity:
Modem ----> Router -----> Computer
They all should be connected with the Ethernet Cable... Then install the Cisco Connect Software... It will help you in configuring the Router...
As far as Slingbox is concern you did port forwarding but until and unless you are not online it would work....

How to use neutralzone object with alarm object?

I need to monitor a tank level for alarm conditions. I have created an alarm object so the user can specify values for the lolo, lo, hi, and hihi. This works fine, except if the tank level hovers around an alarm level setting, too many alarm records are generated. The Lookout Help page for the alarm object says to use a neutralzone object to filter out the minor fluctuations, but I can't find any details on how. So how do I do this? Can I use one alarm object with one neutralzone object for the four alarm settings, or one alarm object with four neutralzone objects, or four alarm and neutralzone object pairs? How do I connect them?

Another method would be to add a delay before alarming using a DelayOn timer.
Ryan's suggestion would work, but if the process requires decimal precision you cannot use that method.

Thus by using DDNS' it will now allow us to access the router remotely without knowing what's the WAN ip address.

You have an object in QA and not in Dev....you want to map this QA object with an object in Dev.....create a same object in DEV and then do the mapping....then transport.....you should have both the objects in both the environments.
When you say map...i assume it to be the mapping program (message/ XSLT/ JAVA)
