How to show script menu in numbers.

I just bought from AppleStore the Numbers aplication and I am not able to get the script menu to show up in numbers.
Script menu is already selected in Editor Applescript and in fact the menu shows up in ALL other applications like iCalc, Safari, Finder, etc..
I have a MacBook Pro with Lion 10.7.3
Any help will be gratly appreciate.

In the English version, the Number menu bar requires about 700 pixels.
The French one requires 850 pixels.
It's the user's duty to define the list of actions reachable from the right area of the menu bar to fit in the available area.
Here you may see a heavily loaded menu bar.

"Show Script menu in menu bar" setting won't stick

Hi all,
I'm starting some Applescript development, and I'd like to make some scripts available in the Scripts menu. I checked the box to "Show Script menu in menu bar" from within the prefs for AppleScript Editor, but it doesn't work. When I close AppleScript Editor, relaunch it, and look at the prefs again, the box is unchecked. I deleted the relevant preference files from my Library and recreated them by launching AppleScript Editor, but the setting just won't stick.
Any ideas?

The preference that I'm looking at is within AppleScript Editor, the program I use to write new AppleScripts. Script Editor was the previous name of the same application. When I check the "Show Script menu in menu bar" in the AppleScript Editor prefs and close with window. The box is unchecked the next time I open the AppleScript Editor application, and the Script menu never appears in my menu bar. Everything works fine on my iMac at home. The problem seems to be isolated to my MBP. Weird.

How to run scripts in Numbers?

In Yvan Koenig's script, the instructions say
"Save the script as a Script: numberInLetters.scpt
Move the newly created application into the folder:
<startup Volume>:Users:<yourAccount>:Library:Scripts:Applications:Numbers:
Maybe you would have to create the folder Numbers and even the folder Applications by yourself.
Put the cursor in the cell which contains the number to translate.
menu Scripts > Numbers > numberInLetters"
What I have done so far:
placed a script in that location
checked option in AppleScript Editor "Show Script menu in menu bar"
closed and opened Numbers since doing all that
Still no Script menu.
What else do I need to do to get the Script menu to display in Numbers?

This is what did with the script:
Selected everything from (* to --[/SCRIPT] (omitting {code} )
Pressed command-C to Copy.
Opened AppleScript Editor.
Went AppleScript Editor > Preferences.
Checked "show Script menu in Menu bar"
Closed preferences.
Clicked in the script area and Pasted.
Went File > Save to open the Save Dialogue.
Chose Script from the File Format: popup menu.
Navigated to the Desktop and clicked Save.
Switched to Finder and opened a Finder window.
Pointed the window to the Desktop. Sorted by Date to bring the newly saved file to the top.
(Later repeated the steps above, saving the same script as an Application with the name Num2wdsResults. Moved both to the folder noted below.)
Clicked otside the window to deslelect it.
Pressed and held the option key.
Went Go > Library to open my user Library.
Released option key.
Navigated/constructed path to Library > Scripts > Applications > Numbers.
Dragged newly saved file to the newly made Numbers folder.
Launched Numbers (which opened a new blank document)
Entered numbers in A2 through A11.
Selected each in turn and went Script menu > Numbers2words
(or on alternate rows, Script menu > num2wds)
Resuts as shown. Note the limitations demonstrated in the yellow rows.
The script may be saved as either a Script or an Application. Both produce the same results.
To run either from within Numbers, select a cell containing a number, then select the script from the Script menu in Numbers.

How do I export Dates from Numbers to iCal?

I'm building a spread sheet in *Numbers '08* with +expiration dates+ for many of the line items. I would like to export those dates to iCal so that iCal can _show/send me a reminder on those dates_. I've read that some people may be using a program called Bento to interface between Numbers & iCal. Seems like one should not have to buy an entire software program to export a simple date from Numbers to ICal -- both being native Apple programs.
Perhaps there is a way to get Numbers to send date reminders without exporting to iCal?
Any feedback is much appreciated.

Script Menu

I guess I didn't notice the loss through OS upgrades, but didn't there used to be a Script Menu in the menu bar of Mail and Address Book (and maybe other apps)?
I never used any of my scripts regularly, but now I'm missing some of them.
What's the story? Can I get the Script Menu back? If not, what are my alternatives?

Yvan Koenig wrote an Applescript to create an popup menu with a true blank menu item. You can find it in Yvan's Box Account public area. Click on for_iWork'09, then for-numbers'09, then look for and download popup_with_nil.zip. Unzip the file, then open it with ScriptEditor.
Yvan's scripts include instructions (in French and English) on how and where to save the script and how to use it. I haven't read this one recently, so I can't give you any further details on it.

How to add script icon to menu bar?

On my MacBook Pro that was upgrated to Mountain Lion the script menu I installed years earlier remained after the upgrade. Just bought a new iMac and I can't find how to get the script icon in the menu bar. In Leopard, and maybe Snow Leopard, there was acutally a script to install the menu. The scripts I use work fine under Mountain Lion, I just want to add them to the menu bar. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

How do i activate the script menu in itunes. So i can see my scripts onscreen within itunes. Sinc I can't see them right now, i assume it means i do not have my itunes scripts assigned to itunes. but my finder script menu shows lots of itunes scripts in it. It also shows lots of safari scripts, although i can't see those inside Safari either. This has to be easy, but applehelp offers not help.

Scripts for iTunes must be placed in specific locations to automatically appear in the Scripts menu:
HD/Library/iTunes/Scripts (accessible by every account)
or
HD/Users/Username/Library/iTunes/Scripts (account specific)
When you've never used scripts this way, the Scripts folder inside the iTunes folder does not exist, so you have to create it.

The phone number format as well as the date language and format and the time format are controlled by the Region Format setting. Go to Settings > General >International > Region Format. When you change a region format, you can go back one page (to International) and see an example of the date/time/phone number format that your selected region format will produce.

I have already read this answer "how to show active page in spry menu bar" but I am using images, not text. I have mouse-over and mouse-out working in the Spry Menu Bar using image.png and image-over.png, but I cant' figure out how to get the image-over.png to appear on the active page since the spry menu bar is locked on the individual pages. (I tried to put it in an editable comment, but spry wouldn't go for it. :-)

There is one book( say "one") and one page (say "two") on the portal, which are displayed to user as menu items.
The book has two pages ( say 'a' and 'b'), which are shown in the menu dropdown of "one". I want to show the menu item "two" only if the user selects 'a' and hide it when select 'b'.
meny item 'b' is a page with one portlet.
