How to stop everything before gotoAndStop to other frames?

Hi,
I'm trying to make a small flash that looks like a website.
and I'm using 4 buttons with gotoAndStop to navigate to 4 different frames/pages.
The problem is, when I import a video or videoclip to a frame/page, it won't stop playing when I click the button to go to other frames.
It's not visible because I'm not in that frame but I can still hear it playing in the background.
If I go back to that frame, it starts playing video again but the old one is still playing ...
How do I stop everything in the current frame when I click the navigation buttons?
I'm new to flash please help

I did make the video stop by this code, it works perfectly when I navigate to other frames
VideoClip.addEventListener(Event.REMOVED_FROM_STAGE, stopPlay);

VideoClip.stop();
but this code won't work for the nested movie clips.
In another frame/page of my flash file, I have put a mini game that I imported as a movieclip, It has background music and stuff. It won't stop if I click buttons to go to other frames. When I click back to that frame, it just loads the movieclip mini game again ....
How do I fix this?

How to stop specific query attached with other query in same process using With method

Would it be possible to stop one query out of two queries attached to single process...because i see it is returning one IDisposable inteface...if i call dispose() method...two queries are stopped/killed...
So how to stop specific query which is combined with other queries in a same process at runtime i.e., attach or detach kind of thing?

Yes, the overloading of the term "Process" can be confusing. In SI, depending on your edition of StreamInsight, a process can run on one or more threads from a pool of threads and are scheduled together. Don't think of a process necessarily as a single
thread or multiple processes as a method of multi-threading.
As for a limit on the number of queries, there isn't a hard limit that I'm aware of. However, there will be a practical limit that will vary based on the complexity of the query, the event rate and your hardware (# of cores). If you are using Standard Edition,
this limit is much smaller as you only have a single scheduler thread. With Premium Edition, you have a scheduler thread for each core on the machine so you can get higher throughput and lower latency. But if you have, say, 4 cores on the machine (don't count
hyperthreaded cores, just real cores), 100 queries and a target throughput of 100K events/second, you'll likely have some problems. At 1K events/sec, you'd likely be fine though. With 32 cores and Premium Edition, you'd probably be OK with 100K events/sec.
So ... like I said, it depends.

How to stop the animation at a certain frame?

Well, as the title already says, how can I stop my animtation at a certain frame. Is it only possible due setting up a timer, or can I also enter a code that stops at a certain frame?
And when I stop the animation, will my buttons still be able to get clicked?

Thanks for the usefull reply, the problem was that i forgot the add a new keyframe that's why I couldnt make it in the frame I wanted.
I will have between 15 and 20 buttons that need to be able to get clicked when my animation is stopped, I first imported them to my library, then placed everything where I wanted it to be. Then created them as a Symbol (Selected Button!). Then I created instance names for every single of them.
With the code that's downstairs I want to let my animation go to frame 200 when I click on the button "Middenknop" while the animation is paused. But now i get this error:
TypeError: Error #1009: Kan geen eigenschap of methode benaderen via een verwijzing naar een object dat null is.

How to stop hanging up or calling other numbers while in a call.

My wife has the Droid 2 and she has been having continuous problems with the phone hanging up on her calls or dialing her voice mail while in a call. I have had several calls hang up on me as well. I have checked how she holds the phone to make sure the proximity sensor is working and everything appears fine. She has even tried pressing the power/lock button as soon as she enters a call with no improvement. Has anyone else seen this problem and what can be done to fix it?

When speaking on the droid devices once the phone is placed to your ear the screen should go black and once you pull the phone away from your face it should light back up giving options to either make a call or hang up or other options. If you are still able to call while the phone is in use and the device is up to your face, try to do a battery pull by removing the battery while phone is powered on and let the battery stay out for about 10 to 15 seconds then replace the battery and see if there is still an issue with the device calling other people while the phone is in use. I agree with the thread comment...
But if you are going to use a while loop, you can do this:
loop_break = false;
while(!loop_break) {
}But if you need to stop anywhere inside the loop, you need to use if statements to check that flag between every action the while loop contains. Otherwise, you're limited to breaking whenever you check the flag, of course, or as above, before the next loop iteration.

Can somebody please tell me how to stop IDOC before transformation.

My Question is that if we have 2 CSV file and in each file field 6 is the status field if the status is 1 then we have to transform the idoc i.e Generate the Idoc but if the status is 0 then we have to stop the transformation of idoc i.e don't send the idoc.

Well, when you put conditions in RD under xPath by taking F4 help and choose field6 and then assign a value = 1 in xPath thats it.
now whenever your sender adapter will pick the file and try to send to receiver then it will check the conditon in receiver determination under xPath and if condition is true then only it will process the file otherwise it will not process it.

With Premiere CC when I try to do a selection (click... drag... release the click) very often it stop way before the end of the move I'm swinging the Magic Mouse. I taught that the mouse clicking was defective and went to get a new Magic Mouse after lots of frustration. Today, I have an edit to do it it does the SAME thing !!

Opened all the lights and taught I've trow the new mouse to the garbage and was using the defective mouse again... no !! - ??
Actually, the bran new mouse is doing the same thing. What I understand after investigating on the motion and watching carefully my fingers !! - is that when I click I have to keep my finger at the EXACT same place on the mouse... drag and release and it's fine. If I click by pushing on the mouse and my finder is moving of a 1/32th of a millimeter, it will release and my selection will be to redo. You can understand my frustration ! - 75$ later... same problem, but I know that if I click with about 5 pounds of pressure and trying to pass my finger through the plastic of the mouse, it you stay steady and make it !
The problem is that scrolling is enable while clicking and it bugs.
How to disable it ??

sorry but the Magic Mouse is just useless with the new Adobe Premiere CC and since I'm not the only one but can't find answer this is really disappointing. This mouse is just fantastic and now I have to swap from a USB mouse to the Magic Mouse every times I do some editing. My USB mouse if hurting my hand somehow and I want to got back to the Magic Mouse asap. Please - for sure there is a simple solution !

Thanks for the assistance. I was able to restore my I pod after letting the battery run down. I then synced the I pod to my new computer. Most of the songs moved from the cloud to the actual I pod drive. But, many of them did not. I tried downloading them from the cloud on my I pod, but this didn’t work. Will I be able to restore the missing songs? Thanks, Cleveland.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

When I try to turn my iPhone off, it automatically restarts itself. It has never done this before; does anyone know why it might be doing this/how to stop it happening?

This had happened to me today as well. I gave constantly tried resetting it, (I don't particularly want to restore it), but earlier did you find that your headphones went funny? Mine would stop playing music, but the phone would keep going. And if I paused it, and then pressed play, No sound would come out. And if I took the headphones out while it was paused it would play on the device, but as before, not through the headphones. But, I fixed it (temporarily) by pulling the headphones out while it was playing, and plugged them back it. But normally this would pause the music, and it didn't, just continued on the phone, with no sound coming out of the speakers. And it would only last for a couple of minutes and happen again. Then I tried resetting the phone, and it wouldn't turn off. Them I fixed the turn off problem by placing on a dock, and I think this also fixed the headphone problem. But then I took it off and then on the dock, and now it won't play through the dock (but it charges) and it won't turn off, again!
Also, apples customer serivice is plainly crap. This should be easy to fix. And I shouldnt have to pay a fee to ring them up for service help.
