How to Stop the process chain if it in the middle of the process?

Is there anyway that i can stop the process chain if it is in the middle of the process already?

First and foremost let me advice you to be very careful while doing this.
You can start from SM37, find the process WID/PID then go to SM50 or SM51 and kill it. Once its done come back to RSMO and check the request, it should be red but again manually force to red and save by clicking on the total status button in the status tab. This shuld ensure that the process is killed properly.
The next step will be to go to targets that you were loading and remove the red requests from those targets.
Note: For source system loads you may have to check if the request is running in the source system and kill if needed and pull it again.
But for BW datamart delta loads u may have reset the datamarts in case u are going to pull the delta again.
Different Ways to stop process chain
1)SM37 -->Kill Job
2)SM50/sm66- ->Kill process
3)RSPC>Job Log>Make the process RED forecefully.
4)RSPC>Process chain> main Menu"Remove from Scheduling" OR
5)se37-->RSPC_API_CHAIN_INTERRUPT
give RFC BW system name(technical) and process chain name(technical)
Steps 1 -3 stops the chain running in process
Steps 4-5 stops the chain AFTER the current job which is running is completed as sucessful or Failure by nature.
Rationale - 4-5
This function will only remove the jobs from schedule, which did not yet run. It will not kill running jobs, as this may leave the system in an inconsistent state, moreover killing processes is possible for synchronous processes only anyhow. This means, that there will be no errors with interrupted chains, which on the other
hand means an interrupted chain is not restartable. So for a running chain this function is intended to be an emergency break only. You can use it, however, to remove a scheduled chain from schedule, such that it does not start except by your product.

I have a nice little PowerShell function that is scrubbing the eventlog for a 'positive' hit under a certain error code for each user in a defined window.
basically we are looking to see if they are still logging into OCS...
Since it takes what seems like an eternity to scan the whole security log per the 'get-eventlog' statement and then evaluate it it is $true or not... i would like it to break out as soon as it finds one hit without going all the way back x days unless it
has to.
have been trying to use this for testing... with no avail

I'm not sure i'm understanding this correctly but i'm assuming you only care if one shows up in there at all. If so this might speed things up depending on where in the log the first entry is.

Process Chain got struck and not showing all the variants in the log view

We have some process chains which are running daily.The problem here is that one of the process chains got struck at some point
and it is not showing all the variants in the log view but able to see in planning view.
Could any one please let me know why this is occuring.

Subsequen process runs automatically .. always the subsequen process waits for the predecessor to finish and the subsequen process starts.. abt the Repeat process chain ...
When .. when ur loading fails due to some reason.. but u can repeat that Execute IP process type by right clicking on the process type and click on the repeat process and it will ask u to start in how many seconds u can give ur tiem there .. if u want immediatly u can just give 0 seconds..

Process chain doesn't even with errors in bacrground processes

Hi experts,
I need your help again.
My client is using a process chain to automate the consolidation process in SEM-BCS. This is done using variants of programs UCBATCH01 and UCBATCH11.
The problem now is that the process chain doesnu2019t stop even though the steps have errors. The validation tasks are the best example.
Do you know a way to make the process chain stop?

1. Is the status table for task that you are referring to = /1SEM/UCS001USV1 ?
2. I read in another source that status table only store the latest run log ? not historical ? is that true or would you might be aware of a historical table ?
3. The table split cons area task run status into each of the cons unit, so if one of them has error, basically the task error

Triggering Process chain based on execution of R3 job and Process Chain

Hi All,
I need your help in arriving at a solution for a reqirement.
Scenario is., I need to trigger a process chain B based on successful execution of Process chain A and an R3 job. If both conditions(Completion of R3 job and Process Chain A) are met then only it has to trigger process Chain B.
I know that we can use events to trigger a process chain using R3 job.But my case is differenet I need to consider the success message from both process chain and R3 job.Is there any way to solve it ?
Please provide me with your valuable inputs.

You can use the 'AND' variant for both, If both are success then trigger the process chain.

Hi kids, my first day using apple, anyway, is a Power Book 4.1 , bought from someone else,and i dont have the password for the key chain, and no chances of getting it, the screen, for the password keeps on coming up, any ideas?

Hi, Lisa. Now I see what you're desperate about.
Does it allow you to go ahead and use the iBook after you cancel the Keychain login? If so, it's not a big deal.
Are you able to go to System Preferences > Accounts and create a new account for yourself? That should eliminate Keychain password problems.

What CDs (if any) came with the iBook?
Which version of the operating system is it running?

A message keeps coming up about a script being busy or stopped responding and I want to know how to stop this from happening everytime I want to get on the internet.

A message came up on my desktop asking me to click on it and it warned me about my toolbars would no longer work. I believe I had just deleted Google Chrome. Now every time I want to go online I have to wait a minute or so before a message comes up and states: A script on this page may be busy or it may have stopped responding. You can continue to see if the script will complete". Then under the above message is this:

There are two boxes underneath that state "Continue" or "Stop script". I click on the "stop script" box and then I can get online. I don't know what this means or how to get rid of it and how do I get Firefox toolbar to work again? Did I do anything to my computer that is causing this error? I never had this problem until I clicked on the first message and I am sorry I didn't write the info down but I didn't know all this was going to happen.

That is a problem with an AVG extension (toolbar).

How to stop phone from dialing other numbers while I am on the phone

Hello everyone one out there!! I have had the iphone for over a month now and I am very happy with it so far. I was somewhat hesitate from buying after reading all the horror post that users have been leaving, but with anything I must try it out myself to make my own opinion. I am very impress with my purchase. The only problem that I am having is, when I am making a call and having conversation with someone my cheek will touch the touch screen and start either instant messaging someone or calling someone. Is there a way that after I dial a number I can turn off the touch screen so that my cheek will not interfer. Any advise?

As has been mentioned, there is a proximity sensor which is supposed to inactivate the touch screen when it is up against your face.
By any chance, are you using a case with your iPhone? Some cases may partially or completely block the proximity sensor and prevent it from working. Try removing your case and see if things start to work normally.
If the problem persists, you may have a broken sensor and need to get it repaired by Apple.

If the process chain is running in background,
goto SM37
Give * in the jobname
Give the username who scheduled the process chain
Job status - check the check boxes - SCHED, relased, ready, active
click execute.
It displays all the process chains that, scheduled & running.
You can select the process chain that need to be stopped & click STOP active job or ctrl+F1.

I know we do that by placing a red arrow to stop the further processing...but i dont know how to do it ? where from should i get the red arrow ... ? You need to create ABAP program in which you check the values for required process chain in
following table
RSPCLOGCHAIN (Feilds ANALYZED_STATUS LOG_ID)
Depend on values you can trigger next process or you can wait unitil this process chain complete.you need to check status from table using ABAP.
If you are not aware about how to write ABAP program then take help from ABAP Team.

How to schedule Process Chain with Full Update for the past closed month

One of the selection fields for that extractor is calendar year/month 0CALMONTH and it is a full update extractor.
SAP recommends running this extractor once a month after the month has been closed.
If I were to include this update/extract into my process chain, would it be possible to automate the process in a way where the process chain is scheduled to execute once a month (I know how to do that), but that also only pulls values for the past/closed CALMONTH (as if it had a variable value of which would be automatically set to the last closed month when pchain is run)? As I mentioned 0CALMONTH is one of the selection criterias in the infopackage for that extractor.
let me know how I might be able to do that.

For Calmonth selection in infopackage you can use the SAP-Exit OLAP Variable 0CMLMON (Last Month)
select Type "7" ("OLAP Variable")
and in Details of Type screen, Select OLAP Variable "0CMLMON" Which is SAP-Exit variable for Calmonth, that returns the last month from the current system-date.
If variable 0CMLMON is not active, you need to activate it from Business content.
Assign pts if helpful.

Ope the PC in RSPC1 -->go to planning view of process chain
in left side you will find different types of process types.
under other BW process types folder -->you will find process type "Delete request from PSA"
drag this into your process chain planning view and customize it based on your requirements.

Hello,
Try this....
Double click on your process chain. Via the menu select:
Process chain > Attributes > Display components
Select F4 (possible entries)
At the bottom of the window you will find a create icon
to make your own component.
After you created it, assign it to your process chain.
Don't forget to save the process chain.
