How to store php sessions using memcached and unix socket

I am running Arch linux with systemd, nginx, and php with php-fpm. I am trying (and failing) to configure memcached to store sessions using a unix socket. I have memcached installed and active, however, I am unable to disable networking. I added the following line to /etc/conf.d/memcached
MEMCACHED_ARGS="-s unix:///tmp/memcached.sock -a 666"
I also tried:
MEMCACHED_ARGS="-s /tmp/memcached.sock -a 666"
MEMCACHED_ARGS="-s unix:/tmp/memcached.sock -a 666"
when I restart memcached I always get:
memcached.service - Memcached Daemon
          Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/memcached.service; enabled)
          Active: active (running) since Sat 2013-01-19 17:41:15 PST; 5min ago
        Main PID: 773 (memcached)
          CGroup: name=systemd:/system/memcached.service
                  └─773 /usr/bin/memcached -l 127.0.0.1
when I run php script with sessions php error log shows (not surprisingly):
[19-Jan-2013 16:46:45 America/Los_Angeles] PHP Warning:  Unknown: Failed to write session data (memcached). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (unix:/tmp/memcached.sock) in Unknown on line 0
I also installed the php-memcached package but I don't what it does or how to get it going. I uncommented the following line in /etc/php/conf.d/memcached.ini:
extension=memcached.so
but that didn't change anything.
Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Look at this link -http://odiexperts.com/getting-one-or-several-unknown-files-from-a-directory
change the command to fetch the ls command and write into File and then using either java or jython break the data and fetch the file name and date and insert into log table.
(or)
you can use the os.system command and get the complete ls command into string and then process and insert it.

    I can use getIds() of httpsessioncontext but it's depricated

    Hi
    I'm trying to make an example.
    With the following codes you can get the date from the session.
    request.getSession().getAttribute("sessionname")
    To store it in a hashmap you could do it like this ->
    Hashmap hm = new Hashmap();
    hm.put(Object key, request.getSession().getAttribute("sessionname"));
    I hope you understand it if not just write it!

  • How to create a session using call transaction method.

    hi , this is nagaraju,
    How to create a session using call transaction method.

    Hi,
    About Data Transfer In R/3 System
    When a company decides to implement the SAP R/3 to manage business-critical data, it usually does not start from a no-data situation. Normally, a SAP R/3 project comes into replace or complement existing application.
    In the process of replacing current applications and transferring application data, two situations might occur:
    •     The first is when application data to be replaced is transferred at once, and only once.
    •     The second situation is to transfer data periodically from external systems to SAP and vice versa.
    •     There is a period of time when information has to be transferred from existing application, to SAP R/3, and often this process will be repetitive.
    The SAP system offers two primary methods for transferring data into SAP systems. From non-SAP systems or legacy system. These two methods are collectively called “batch input” or “batch data communication”.
    1. SESSION METHOD
    2. CALL TRANSACTION
    3. DIRECT INPUT
    First step for both the methods is to upload the data to internal table. From Internal Table, the data is transferred to database table by two ways i.e., Session method and Call transaction.
    Session is intermediate step between internal table and database table. Data along with its action is stored in session i.e., data for screen fields, to which screen it is passed, the program name behind it, and how the next screen is processed.
    When the program has finished generating the session, you can run the session to execute the SAP transactions in it. Unless session is processed, the data is not transferred to database table.
    A technique similar to SESSION method, while batch input is a two-step procedure, Call Transaction does both steps online, one after the other. In this method, you call a transaction from your program.
    SESSION METHOD
    Data is not updated in database table unless Session is processed.
    No sy-subrc is returned.
    Error log is created for error records.
    Updation in database table is always synchronous
    CALL TRANSACTION
    Immediate updation in database table.
    Sy-subrc is returned.
    Errors need to be handled explicitly
    Updation in database table can be synchronous Or Asynchronous.

    Sruthi.

  • Explain How delivery date is calculated using backward and forward schedul

    How can anyone please explain how delivery date is calculated using forward and backward scheduling
    I want to have it broken down into the following steps
    for eg for delivery date calculation following dates are used
    Material Availabilty Date
    Material Staging Date
    Pick/pack time
    Transportation PLanning date
    Loading date
    Goods issue date
    Transit Date
    Delivery Date
    Can some one please give me an example and explain wht these dates are
    for eg customer needs delivery date on  11/20/2008
    how would the system cacluate whether it can meet the delivery date using backward scheduling
    and if it doesnt meet how does the system do the forward scheduling
    also i am not clear with the following dates
    material avaialibilty date
    material staging date
    transportation date
    can some one please explain me all this in detail
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Basically this is the CRSD(Customer requested ship date logic)logic in which system calculates the ship date depends upon the material availability. If material is available system calculates ship date on the basis of master data maintained in customisation.Master data is maintained in the  following link.
    If material is not available then system takes into consideration vendor delivery date & then calculate customer ship date.
    Please go through the link in SPRO
    LE-Shipping -Basic shipping functions-Scheduling -Delivery scheduling & Transportation scheduling-Maintain duration.
    In customisation following data is maintained
    Material Availabilty Date
    Material Staging Date
    Pick/pack time
    Transportation PLanning date
    Loading date
    Goods issue date
    Transit Date
    Delivery Date
    Hope you got the idea of CRSD calculation

  • Using utl_file and unix pipes

    Hi,
    I'm trying to use utl_file and unix pipes to communicate with a unix process.
    Basically I want the unix process to read off one pipe and give me back the result on a different pipe.
    In the example below the unix process is a dummy one just copying the input to the output.
    I cant get this to work for a single plsql block writing and reading to/from the pipes - it hangs on the first read of the return pipe.
    Any ideas?

    > it hangs on the first read of the return pipe.
    Correct.
    A pipe is serialised I/O device. One process writes to the pipe. The write is blocked until a read (from another process or thread) is made on that pipe. Only when there is a reader for that data, the writer is unblocked and the actual write I/O occurs.
    The reverse is also true. A read on the pipe is blocked until another process/thread writes data into the pipe.
    Why? A pipe is a memory structure - not a file system file. If the write was not blocked the writer process can writes GBs of data into the pipe before a reader process starts to read that data. This will drastically knock memory consumption and performance.
    Thus the purpose of a pipe is to serve as a serialised blocking mechanism between a reader and a writer - allowing one to write data that is read by the other. With minimal memory overheads as the read must be serviced by a write and a write serviced by a read.
    If you're looking for something different, then you can open a standard file in share mode and write and read from it using two different file handles within the same process. However, the file will obviously have a file system footprint ito space (growing until the writer stops and the reader terminates and trashes the file) .
    OTOH a pipe's footprint is minimal.

  • Non-global zones and unix sockets

    Hello, I have a problem with local zones and unix socket sharing. I've created directory in global zone for ex. /zones/shared. Added it to zones via 'add fs, type=lofs' . In one zone I'm putting mysql socket in it and I want that other local zones could use it. Is it possible to share socket between zones?
    After all my experiments I'm always getting 'can't connect to mysql ... (146)' , 146 is 'connection refused' error.

    These services are off-line in the non-global zone, which is why non of the
    rc2.d or rc3.d scripts are being run:
    offline Dec_12 svc:/milestone/multi-user-server:default
    offline Dec_12 svc:/milestone/multi-user:default
    Any idea how to enable these, and why they are offline?
    Michael
    Created a non-global zone on a Solaris 10 box.
    Boots up ok and I can login with zlogin.
    It doesn't seem to run any of the scripts in
    /etc/rc2.d or /etc/rc3.d
    I know Solaris 10 uses "Service Management Facility"
    for most services now,
    but could still run legacy scripts in /etc/init.d ?
    Also I can't get sshd to start on the non-global
    zone.
    # svcs -a |grep ssh2

    # svcadm enable -t svc:/network/ssh:default

  • Multiple BPEL/ Mediator payloads how to store in DB using DB adapter.

    I have huge XML which is XSD define for the same and have complex types which required around > 50 DB tables to store the entire XML.
    Have one parent table which has reference ID to child tables.
    Now first I want store the parent table and get the ID and use the same ID to store child tables (it has parent child relationship up to 5 or 6 levels)
    How can I define / use the BPEL process.
    I want to use the file adapter to read the XML file.
    And I need to define BPEL process with mediators if required?
    And use the DB adapter to store the data.
    My questions are how can I define BPEL process with huge XSD which had multiple elements?
    How can I use db adapter to store more than 50 tables and getting parent ID for child tables?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Edited by: user8539507 on Feb 29, 2012 7:35 AM

    Sridhar thanks for replay,
    I did the same, Few mapping tables i have ,
    say A-->B , A-->C-->D (Master Child relations) map is B-->E & D-->E (map table) for this type of tables i have following error.
    Exception [EclipseLink-48] (Eclipse Persistence Services - 2.1.3.v20110304-r9073): org.eclipse.persistence.exceptions.DescriptorException
    Exception Description: Multiple writable mappings exist for the field [TABLE5_MAP.ID]. Only one may be defined as writable, all others must be specified read-only.
    And also other question i have by doing this is - won't it be heavy pay load, due to complex transformation don't we get any issues in long run?
    is there way to insert sequentially from the XSD element parts wise?
    Say i have File XSD(#1P1) to DB xsd(#2T1). return the ID next sequence
    File XSD(#1P2) to DB xsd(#2T2,T3,T4,T5).
    File XSD(#1P3) to DB xsd(#2T6,T7,T8).
    File XSD(#1P4) to DB xsd(#2T9,T10,T11,T12).
    File XSD(#1P5) to DB xsd(#2T13,T16,T14,T15).
    from Leftside(exposed service) Fileadapter have the XSD(#1) and rightside External Refences(DB adapter(s)) have the XSD(#2)
    In this scenario would it be possible to use one DB adapter? do i have use multiple ? if i use multiple how the transaction will work?
    Thanks

  • How to Split the string using Substr and instr using loop condition

    Hi every body,
    I have below requirement.
    I need to split the string and append with single quotes('') followed by , (comma) and reassign entire values into another variable. so that i can use it where clause of update statement
    for example I am reciveing value as follows
    ALN varchar2(2000):=(12ERE-3MT-4Y,4IT-5O-SD,OP-K5-456,P04-SFS9-098,90P-SSF-334,3434-KJ4-O28,AS3-SFS0-J33,989-3KL-3434);
    Note: In the above variable i see 8 transactions, where as in real scenario i donot how many transaction i may recive.
    after modification i need above transactions should in below format
    ALTR Varchar2(2000):=('12ERE-3MT-4Y','4IT-5O-SD','OP-K5-456','P04-SFS9-098','90P-SSF-334','3434-KJ4-O28','AS3-SFS0-J33','989-3KL-3434');
    kindly help how to use substr and instr in normal loop or for loop or while loop while modifying the above transactions.
    Please help me to sort out this issue.
    Many Thanks.

    Try this - may not be the best way but...:
    create or replace type myTableType as table of varchar2(255)
    declare
    v_array mytabletype;
    v_new_str varchar2(4000);
    function str2tbl
             (p_str   in varchar2,
              p_delim in varchar2 default '.')
             return      myTableType
        as
            l_str        long default p_str || p_delim;
             l_n        number;
             l_data     myTableType := myTabletype();
        begin
            loop
                l_n := instr( l_str, p_delim );
                exit when (nvl(l_n,0) = 0);
                l_data.extend;
                l_data( l_data.count ) := ltrim(rtrim(substr(l_str,1,l_n-1)));
                l_str := substr( l_str, l_n+length(p_delim) );
            end loop;
            return l_data;
       end;
    begin
      v_array := str2tbl ('12ERE-3MT-4Y,4IT-5O-SD,OP-K5-456,P04-SFS9-098,90P-SSF-334,3434-KJ4-O28,AS3-SFS0-J33,989-3KL-3434', ',');
          FOR i IN 1 .. v_array.COUNT LOOP
             v_new_str := v_new_str || ''''||v_array(i)||'''' || ',';
          END LOOP;
       dbms_output.put_line(RTRIM(v_new_str, ','));
    end;
    OUTPUT:
    =======
    '12ERE-3MT-4Y','4IT-5O-SD','OP-K5-456','P04-SFS9-098','90P-SSF-334','3434-KJ4-O28','AS3-SFS0-J33','989-3KL-3434'HTH

  • How to search for files using wildcards * and ?.

    Hi All,
    I've been searching the forum for a couple of hours now and have been unable to find a good example of how to search a directory (Windows OS) for a file using wildcards * and/or ?. Does anyone out there have a good example that they can share with me?
    Thanks

    Hi All,
    First of all I want to thank everyone for taking the time to respond to my question. All of your responses where greatly appreciated.
    I took the example code that was posted by rkconner, thanks rkconner, and modified it to allow me to search for files in a directory that contain * and/or ?. Yes, I said and/or! Meaning that you can use them both in the same file name, example: r??d*.t* would find readme.txt.
    I've posed my complete and thoroughly document code below. I hope it is very helpful to other as I have searched many forums and spent many hours today trying to resolve this problem.
    Enjoy
    * File Name: WildcardSearch.java
    * Date: Jan 9, 2004
    * This class will search all files in a directory using the
    * asterisk (*) and/or question mark (?) as wildcards which may be
    * used together in the same file name.  A File [] is returned containing
    * an array of all files found that match the wildcard specifications.
    * Command line example:
    * c:\>java WildcardSearch c:\windows s??t*.ini
    * New sWild: s.{1}.{1}t.*.ini
    * system.ini
    * Command line break down: Java Program = java WildcardSearch
    *                          Search Directory (arg[0]) = C:\Windows
    *                          Files To Search (arg[1]) = s??t*.ini
    * Note:  Some commands will not work from the command line for arg[1]
    *        such as *.*, however, this will work if you if it is passed
    *        within Java (hard coded)
    * @author kmportner
    import java.io.File;
    import java.io.FilenameFilter;
    public class WildcardSearch
         private static String sWild = "";
          * @param args - arg[0] = directory to search, arg[1] = wildcard name
         public static void main(String[] args)
              String sExtDir = args[0]; // directory to search
              sWild = args[1];   // wild card to use - example: s??t*.ini
              sWild = replaceWildcards(sWild);
              System.out.println("New sWild: " + sWild);
              File fileDir = new File(sExtDir);
              File[] arrFile = fileDir.listFiles(new FilenameFilter()
                   public boolean accept(File dir, String name)

              for (int i = 0; i < arrFile.length; ++i)
                   System.out.println(arrFile.getName());
         }     // end main
         * Checks for * and ? in the wildcard variable and replaces them correct
         * pattern characters.
         * @param wild - Wildcard name containing * and ?
         * @return - String containing modified wildcard name
         private static String replaceWildcards(String wild)
              StringBuffer buffer = new StringBuffer();
              char [] chars = wild.toCharArray();
              for (int i = 0; i < chars.length; ++i)
                   if (chars[i] == '*')
                        buffer.append(".*");
                   else if (chars[i] == '?')
                        buffer.append(".{1}");
                   else
                        buffer.append(chars[i]);
              return buffer.toString();
