ANSI 834 Full Profile System Extract - DTP*303

Hi!
I've a requirement to generate a DTP*303 segment for passing Person Changes Effective Date. The DTP*303 record layout is available under Seeded ANSI 834 Change only Profile. Please let me know if there is a way to add / generate the DTP*303 segment under the Full profile system extract. Also, please explain the purpose of the Person Change Effective Date segment i.e. which are the appropriate scenarios in which the DTP*303 segment be used. Thanks in advance for your help.

System Extract - Incrementing a sequence number in detail record layout

I have a system extract for a bank that requires a file header, batch header, detail, batch trailer and file trailer record. The detail record is at the run result level as I am looking to choose all records for a particular deduction (savings bonds) and I also have to put employee ssn and full name. This is working fine. I also have to put a sequence number, ie. detail record layout is record type, length 2, string, record sequence number, 5, ?????, employee SSN, length 9, field, employee full name, length 9, field. I need to increment the record sequence number by one for each detail record in the file. Ie. detail record 1 has record sequence number of 00001, detail record 2 has record sequence number of 00002.
What type of data element would I set up? For this particular field, I don't need to go against a database field, I only need to keep track of the previous record's sequence number so that I can keep incrementing by 1 until all detail records have been written. The batch trailer has a record count of the number of detail lines and that works fine because I've set that up as a type 'total' with a 'count' of the detail records. I also have in the batch trailer a sum of the pay values from each of the detail records and that works fine as subtrailers allow total data elements where detail records do not.

You can use any of the below mentioned 2 options in the ctl (Control) file:
1. SEQUENCE(1,1)
2. "xxcust_autoinv_seq.nextval"
where xxcust_autoinv_seq is a database sequence.

How to create a System Extract for Communication

Hi,
I've built System Extracts before but not for Communication. Does anybody know what the steps are to create a System Extract for Communication? I already built a particular Communication Type and the delivery method is email. I was told that Oracle only creates the trigger for this Communication Type but not the email. If I built the System Extract Communication and run it, is that supposed to send an email? and if so, what kind of information will be sent in the email?

Hi James,
If you like to use SAP web dispatcher as a solution for load balancing portal application, you no need to create system object under systems..
You have to install web dispatcher as separate instance where you need to configure portal apps into it..
Configure web dispatcher like to hit the admin port, use http://<webdisp-server>:<adminport>/sap/admin
For normal portal access, use http://<friendly URL>/irj/portal
The good news is that the webdispatcher knows that the portal supports SSL
Another advantage of this config, is the webdisp, will just replace the apache redirect server. Users will access mycompany.com, without any port number, since we are redirecting 80 to the backend j2ee. Also, https should work like in the normal world.

Been reverted back to old profile system

Hi, just need a bit of info as to why ive been put back on to the old profile system, my hub as been syncing to my full line capacity for 3 days now, on the first day of the 3 days it started syncing at 14569kbps i was still on the new system wich gave around 12.6meg, day2 my speed dropped to around 11meg but my sync rate stayed the same, i did a speed test and found i'd been put on the old profile system and had 12000k, day 3 which is today im still on the old profile system, i cant do a speedtest at moment as its not working, but im still getting the same speed (around 11meg) on other speed testers but sync rate on my hub is still the same, have bt put me on the old system? if they have then why? i thought it would of changed it self back over night but i didn't happen. Does anyone know why its happened? as you can see it as re synced in the 3 days but rate stayed the same

This upgrade is only available on 21C, but only Huawei 21C MSANs (equipment situated in the local Telephone Exchange) currently support it. Exchanges with Fujitsu MSANs will get the upgrade as part of the second phase, and that is happening soon.
There are two clear benefits to the changes,
An improvement in the IP rate as it is much closer to the sync rate. For example under the new method a sync rate of 18000kbps equates to an IP profile of 15881kbps which is an improvement of 881kbps in IP throughput.
The other improvement is that there is no delay in uplift because this new process takes a different route to configure the BRAS IP profile system loading and volumes are no longer an issue and the BRAS updates with the new style IP profiles immediately.
However until phase 3, where our systems will be updated, some lines could benefit from the improvement only to be overwritten by the systems back to the old style profiles at a later date. This will be temporary until the systems have been updated where this issue will be rectified..

Is there any repair full load option in DTP?

I have run delta DTP from Cube A to Cube B with selection less than or equal to 31.03.2004 and I want to run grater than 31.03.2004. Now the problem is this load is not bringing the required records because data mart symbol is already set in Cube A.
How do I extract grater than 01.04.2009?

I am afraid that we have only full and delta options available in DTP, but the several other options available on extraction tab will enable us to do something similar to it.
If you looking to get data after 31.03.2004, in you selction condition change the from date to 01.04.2004 and try extracting, I am sure it will give you the desired records.

After closing large documents (drawings) the window closes but the process runs still in the background. I open the next document, the same procedure and after dowing this several times the RAM is full the system becoms very slow. what can i do???

You can always shut it down manually via the Task Manager

What is the field in system extract for FSA annual election

I am new to System Extract, I want to generate a file for our FSA vendor, but I cannot find which field is for FSA annual election, I have found "Enrollment Rate - Employee Total Contribution" is for deduction of every pay check, but I cannot find annual election. in your first select single * statement you have given WHERE BUKRS = T001K-BUKRS..but at the point of execution, what will be the value stored in t001k-bukrs...i doubt it will be initial....so, store bukrs in a variable or hardcode it.....
in the second select, you hve not given any target work area for the into class...that's y your subrc is 4...specify a target area, where you want the data to be stored...

Using of Profile System options

Hi,
I am new to Oracle Apps and getting training in Financials.
I have clear understanding of Profile System options and trying to understand below scenario.
I have installed Fresh DB which does not have vision installation.
1) Created user and assigned System Administrator
2) Logged in as new user and created new HR Responsibility (to create new Business Group Organization)
3) Assigned HR responsibility to my user id
4) Switched to HR responsibility
5) Tried to create Organization and got error (to add my new user to HR: User Type profile by selecting HR: User value).
6) When I try to check Vision DB where we created users and created Organization without any profile.
7) I hope vision DB configured such way to avoid this additional user configuration in Profile (what I have done).
My questions are below.
8) How it was done in Vision DB?
9) How do we know in advance that we should do such profile assignment in advance? I mean, do we have any kind of mapping between organizations assignment to responsibilities with their respective profile options? Please provide any documentation which has this kind of information.

You are right, incase if we are using fresh DB installation and I understand that.
When I try to do same activity in Vision DB, it does not require to add HR: User Type in the profile value. Please check from your end once again. If Vision did not do, then I am trying to understand what other method did they followed?

Labview Full Developement System 8.2 on Windows 7

Hi there,
I have a question about the compatibility of Labview Full Developement System 8.2 and Windows 7.
Is it possible to run this system without problems on a PC that is using Windows 7?
I am also using the Labview DSC module (version 8.2.1).
I'm just wondering if I will get problems when I am going to run programs that I made, in Windows 7.
Or is there a new version of Labview that is compatible with Windows 7?
If so, is it possible to use older versions of Labview in this new version (bij transfering the files).
I hope to hear soon from some of you.

LabVIEW 2009 is the first LabVIEW version officially compatible with Windows 7 (see also)

LabVIEW 2009 and 2010 are fully compatible with Windows 7. You should be able to open your LabVIEW 8.2 files fin in any newer version. For details, have a look at the LabVIEW version compatibility matrix.

Signal Express not activated with Labview Full Development System Volume License

I'm using a volume license manager to generate license for disconnected machines. I just upgraded to Labview 2009. The license files work for labview but are not working for signal express. I have the Labview full development system which included signal express in the past. Both labview and signal express work fine on my computer that also has the volume licensing manager software installed. This computer is connected to the license server. I need to get signal express activated on my disconnected machines.

LabVIEW Full Development licenses still include Signal Express. Are you saying that whenever you are connected to the server you can run Signal Express just fine, but whenever you create a disconnected license Signal Express is not able to launch? Can you verify that you are, in fact, checking a license out from the server whenever you are connected to the network?
If you still have trouble I would recommend calling NI support so we could get more informatioin (such as your license file, contract ID, etc).

LabVIEW 7.1 is ancient, LabVIEW 2011 is current. There is more than one "toolkit". What did you have in mind, exactly?
You can donwload an evaluation version of LabVIEW 2011 from here. Is there any specific reason you want to use 7.1?
If you have a valid license for LabVIEW 2011 you should be able to use it also for older versions. Contact your local NI representative. Are you on SSP?

Go to transaction WE30 and give the IDoc basictype name CRMXIF_PARTNER_REL_SAVE_M01 and press the view-button (or press F7 key).
This information you will need.
The records are builded using the following structure:
1st record contains control record information and follows the structure of table EDIDC.
Starting at where "220" is given (this is the CLIENT), it is followed by the IDoc number field DOCNUM (16 digits) and so on. Not all fields must be filled, only those that are used for inbound messaging. Keep here in mind: Less fields filled will probably work better (because SAP will add its own details on arrival of the IDoc).
All following records follow the structure of table EDID4 upto the field: HLEVEL (Hierarchy level, identical to the level found in WE30).
Thereafter it is followed by the name of the segment (including spaces) and after this it will follow the exact structure of the segment.
To view a sample, just generate a dummy (test) IDoc and use transaction WE19 to fill in the fields after changing to the correct IDoc type.

what is thats means? any different of standard Ni LabVIEW 7.1. Is the full development system is already includes a tool kit.

I have found your original question and the attached VI.
am_modulation.vi you have attached was saved in LV 8.0. You do not need the modulation toolkit to open the VI. I redownloded the VI from the NI web page and it was stored in LV 8.0 too. I made a comment on this on the page.
I have attached the converted VI.

Error 22A8 "Error requires full development system to be fixed"

Hello, I have successfully built my application with the application builder. The application is a plug-in architecture where I have paths to different .lvclass files internally in the .exe file which I have set to "always included" in the build. The different classes will be loaded dynamically
When I run the executable on my development machine it start up and everything works fine. But when I want to run in on another machine with only the LV runtime installed I get the following error:
Error 22A8 "Error requires full development system to be fixed"
How is that? anyone know what that mean? I don't find much information about this when I search on the internet so i'm kinda stuck now. Im using LV 2011 sp1.

What is the runtime engine that you installed in the other computer? Does that computer have any LabVIEW installed as well?
May i have a screenshot of that error code again? I don't think the is such an error link error 22A8.
If you want to create an application (.exe) which is to be run on a computer that does not have any NI software installed. I suggest that you create an installer not an executable. You can build an installer using application builder. What it does is that it includes not only runtime engine but also other addons which is required due to the toolkits you may have used in your code.
