How to strictly lock screen in landscape mode by Agentry editor?

I am using SSM 3.0, Agentry client v6.0.38.1.
How can I lock Android device screen in strictly landscape mode for our customized Agentry app through Agentry editor?
If I lock device screen in landscape mode then it will affect other applications too.
So is there any way to just lock the screen for particular Agentry application?

Prit,
There is no setting in the Agentry to force the application to only landscape or only portrait.
However, you can through the Android branding process force the orientation.
After you unzip the SMPAgentryClientFramework-Android-6.0.38.x.zip, in the AgentryAndroidClientSolution folder there is a file AndroidManifest.xml
You will need to edit this file to add the following directive to the activity tags (12) in the file where the android:name starts with ".ui."
android:screenOrientation="landscape"
Here is one example from my file.

               android:configChanges="orientation|keyboardHidden"
               android:theme="@style/AgentryActivityDialog"
               android:screenOrientation="landscape"/>
After editing and saving the file simply build the branded client and when you launch the new client on the device it should automatically go into landscape mode no matter what orientation the device is in.

If you think about how a counter clockwise rotated splash screen would be, then the above description would mean that the Home button is to the right, which by convention would be upside down. I'll try to track down the person that wrote that, and argue with them!
Flash has things done in a complicated way, because they refer to how the stage is rotated, and not how the device is rotated. So, landscape-left doesn't refer to the Home button being on the left, like you might think it would, it refers to the stage being rotated left (counter clockwise). In order to then see the image correctly on a landscape-left stage, you have to rotate the device to the right.
To work around other issues, I have my landscape app set to Portrait in the iPhone settings, and then I let it rotate to whichever landscape you'd like to use, but my splash screen, which is the landscape design rotated 90 degrees clockwise, looks correct for a device with the Home button on the right.
You're allowed to have it be that the Home button is on the left, but people will think that you're upside down compared to most other landscape apps.

I have already tried this and it doesn't work. It only says no devices. Suppose this means that whoever stole it have already wiped the memory so they can use or sell it. Although I would think the serial number should be connected to the hardware permanently somehow. Don't know how you do that on an iPad that requires a pass code to login to.

When I put an Input TextField on stage in an ActionScript Mobile project and click on it, the softkeyboard comes up but behaves differently when in portrait or in landscape. In portrait, the softkeyboard comes up and allows me to edit my field without hiding. In Landscape, the softkeyboard goes into fullscreen mode and I can no longer see my app in the background. I would like for Landscape mode to bring up the softkeyboard but not overlay my app with a text area. Is there a way to configure this?

I have tried to print the report output but i could not found an option to set LANDSCAPE mode and also how to change the font size.

you will have this facility to select LANGSCAPE/PORTRAIT
use that and print

Print Screen in landscape mode flips it in saved pictures

1.) Hold your iPad in landscape mode
2.) Do a print screen by holding the "sleep" and "home" buttons ( the only two buttons on the iPad, same as iPhone)
3.) Go to "Saved Pictures" in the Photo App
It's reversed!!!!! Or is this only me?

I use Rotate Mojo to handle orientation. It is an iPhone app, but works just fine, with no impact on image quality.
As far as the mirror image issue goes, that is not something that is happening on my iPad. I just double checked both orientations.

This is how the TOC looks like in landscape. As you can see there is a chapter and many pages. I didn't use sections to make sure that they don't appeared as a list in TOC page.

But when viewed in portrait mode. nothing appeared.

If I add a text box, it does not seem that inline is an option.
When I create the chapter page, the bottom part is empty, but I do not know how to add text. If I add a text box, it is not inline.

I've recently took a picture using my camera and set it as a lock screen photo. However, I can't delete the custom lock screen photo after deleting my camera picture on my laptop. I would not know what will happen if I were to reset my entire system as I
have two separate accounts; one of the accounts is not a Microsoft account. If i were to reset my computer system, some of the applications might not be there as the laptop had a custom setting when I bought it.

the iPad has a nasty habit of sometimes switching modes. I would like to lock the mode until I unlock it. I have looked through Settings and did not find a "lock" key.

The screen lock is the slide switch on the right side of the iPad ("right" when held in portrait orientation).

If it's not locking automatically, there may be something wrong with your proximity sensor. Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears? It can't hurt.
You can also lock it by tapping the button on the top of the phone.

I appreciate the help A Brody, but this does not solve what I am asking. I like being able to focus on something like a YouTube video without having to worry about losing my "spot" if I want to move the cursor to pause the movie. I want to do this on demand and not have to worry about clicking a bunch of different stuff or opening a screenshot in Preview.

Try double-tapping with three fingers on the screen. You probably activated the accessibility zoom by accident. To prevent this in the future, you can turn this feature off by navigating to Settings-General-Accessibility-Zoom.

HELP for forgot passcode to lock screen in lost mode

Forgot lockscreen password and now I cannot get my phone off lost mode. If I try to reset through iTunes, iTunes will not let me because its stuck in lock mode. The phone never left my possession, just turned the lost app on by mistake.
