How to synchronize PI service registry and IBM WSRR

Hello All,
In our current project we have developed one web service which resides in SAP CE and is registered in SAP PI Service Registry.
But our client has IBM websphere that acts as a middleware for all ther services (interfaces/web services)
Now, I need to understand how to synchronize SAP PI Service Registry with IBM WSRR (Websphere Services Registry and Repository)
What are the steps/configurations need to be performed at PI end and IBM WSRR end?

Try to restart your portal after creating <b>ServiceUser</b> in both UME and KM.
One more major difference between ServiceUser and normal portal user is that a ServiceUser does not have a UserAccount (IUserAccount)

Problem with the cfg-wizard - Service Registry and SLD Client

I try to complete the initial activity for configuring the Registering Services Registry instance in SLD (http:
localhost:port\nwa\cfg-wizard) but when i start the wizard i found this error:
Error: Getting WBEMClient failed: com.sap.sldserv.exception.SldServiceRuntimeException: Destination SLD_Client not found. Destinations are defined in the Destination service.. Please check that destination SLD_Client is maintained correctly.
I don't know what is that error. Anyone can help us?

I am facing an issue while running SLD configuration wizard in SAp NW 7.3.
Find the error message below.

Shared Services Registry and common settings (foundation)

Hi Experts,
I am trying to open shared serices regisry but surprisngly it is not available under start>programes>Foundation services>epmsystem (only digonostics is showing).
Q1) Does we need to enable it from somewhere?
Q2) if i make some changes under foundation> common settings> (mail conf) etc using config utility; does it require to make changes at all servers in distributed environment.

Q1 - I am not sure what you are looking for, the shared services registry is accessible through Shared Services web or http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17236_01/epm.1112/epm_install_11121/apgs02s01.html
Q2 - Probably worth restarting foundation if you make changes even though it should pick them up as they are just stored in the relational databse.

InDesign CS6 doesn`t start. It stops at "Starting Up Service Registry" and crashes

Push Registry and IBM J9

I am trying to use the PushRegistry registerAlarm function in J2ME for my HP 6515, and it says "alarms not supported" as the error message, the error being ConnectionNotFoundException. Do you think that this could be because IBM J9 doesn't support the Push Registry? Or is it something else?

I'm editing a video with audio recorded by an external recorder.
I've been given a lot of unorganized files and I wonder if there's a quick way to synchronize them all without knowing which audio- and video file that fit together.

I've been pretty amazed by how well the synchronize clips command works. You might take a chance and select all of your audio/video files at once, right click and choose Synchronize Clips.

How to synchronize NI PXI-6534 and NI PXI-6259?

I am trying to output a continuous analog waveform (sine, dc, ramp, etc) using an AIO card (6259) and a DO pulse (using the PXI DIO 6534 card) with a customizable Duty cycle in each period of the AO signal. I need them to be in sync. Both cards reside in the NI PXI-1042Q chassis. I am using this solution as an example but can't get it work.
Also, my DO card cannot write high-frequency pulses on one line - I should instead use the entire port. It also cannot produce CO pulses.
Can anyone help with a simple vi? What is the correct way to synchronize these two cards (I am a beginner in LV) in one crate?

Did you manage to synchronize them?

How to synchronize the signal sending and data acquiring process dynamically with one DAQ_Urgent

Dear Sir,
I am using one DAQ card to send a modulation signal (which is a signal summed by a low frequency saw tooth and high frequency sin signal) to the laser controller, and acquire voltage signal from another instrument (It is in a same measurement system with the laser controller)?
I would like these two process happening at the same time.
In the attachment, there are two parts, one of them is signal generating program, the other one is data acquiring program, how to do like this: when I press"run", first the modulation will be sent to the laser controller immediately, and at the same time, the acquiring program starts as well...
In addition, I think my program is not complete, could you please help me check if there are any other problems with it?

They would be better served with an example that routes the AO hardware sample clock to the source of an externally clocked AI.
Using the examples you posted will still leave them with the challenge of trying to alligh stimulus with response.

i have gone through many forum posts before posting this , so expecting a genuine answer:) which can be rewarded:).
I am using PI 7.1 and trying to taste the services registry flavour of it.
i followed the SAP Note 1267817 - Configure Services Registry proxy , but i am not able to assign the roles
SERVICES_REGISTRY_READ_ONLY or SERVICES_REGISTRY_READ_WRITE in Su01.
i get a message that such a role doesnt exist at all.
Qn1:Do i need installed any software componet like UDDI etc, or do in need to have uddi server
configured for this , if yes how to do that..

After following the note partially i.e w/o giving the user roles. when in rt click sender agreement and say publish

I have configured Ibase for Charm, i followed spro config info as follows:
Manually Create and Assign the Component Systems asiBase
In this IMG activity, you define the Installed Base (iBase) manually, that is for refreshing existing iBases after solutions have been changed.
An iBase component has to be created for each satellite system from which Service Desk messages will be sent to the SAP Solution Manager system.
For the Value Added Reseller (VAR), it is not absolutely necessary to manually define the iBase at this point. We recommend, however, that you carry out this step so that you have a functioning test scenario.
Activities
1. In transaction Change Installed Base (IB52), choose iBase No. 1 (SOL_MAN_DATA_REP).
2. Create under the IBase Header (SOL_MAN_DATA_REP) an IBase component, for example the SAP component system (SAP WEB AS) or use an existing one.
3. To assign the systems as iBase components, go to the Text item tab.
Three components are included in the standard package.
4. Add all the satellite systems as text items to the table:
Column Short text: Description of the system
Column Identification: System ID, installation number, client
5. Save.
After changes have been made to a solution, repeat these steps to update system landscape data for iBase.
Note:
Every system is only listed once in the iBases. That means a system is not listed in an iBase if it has been listed in another iBase before.
If the identification is not entered correctly, the system cannot correctly identify the component from the incoming Service Desk message.
Its really good and I have set up the config in that way only.

since the audio stream and video stream are transmitted separately on the network even if in a merged data, how to synchronize the audio stream and video stream at the receiving end ?

I'm using a custom AVReceive3 to receive rtp-streams and then I create processors for the incoming stream's datasource's, and they are ALL PushBufferDataSource's.
Does this mean I can't synchronize these. If so is there any way I can change them into Pull...DataSources ?The RTP packets are timestamped when they leave, and they are played in order. You can't change the timebase on an RTP stream because, for all intensive purposes, it's "live" data. It plays at the speed the transmitting RTP server wants it to play, and it never gets behind because it drops out of order and old data packets.
If your RTP streams aren't synced correctly on the receiving end, it means they aren't being synced on the transmitting end...so you should look into the other side of the equation.
