How to terminate the running query for a report?

Hi,
When I run a report, the SQL query takes too long.
This causes an overload on database.
How do I stop query from running after some time?

It is NOT possible in OBIEE 10g.
In OBIEE 11g, When a scheduled report job is in running status, you can now cancel the running job from the Report Job History page.

And only possible since 11.1.1.5

Can you try republishing and see ....
Ideally the font size would be controlled by the <font tag and if you have made changes correctly it should be reflected correctly.
Check whether the HTML code is also correct.

In the following query I have commented receipt_num using the table rcv_transaction_headers.
If I uncomment it the query results huge number of unexpected report.
How can I add receipt number to the following query?
Should I use rcv_transactions. If yes, what would be the join conditions.
Kindly help as its urgent.

How to set the default query for query component.

I have a query component on the page, and there are 2 system query in the saved search dropdown list.
Here is my system saved search
Saved Search:
Search by worker
Search by organization.
when the page load the default search panel is always search by worker.
I want to default the search panel search by organization. How do I implement this.

For example
when search by work, the search form displayed as firstname, lastname, gender etc.
when search by work, the search form dispaly as organization name , manager name etc.
I resolve this issue by customize the queryMode object.

how can it be achieved. I tried using Lead and lag. but only I can add the n+1 or n-1 results. Please help.

I've never heard it called 'triangular numbers' before but I think you're looking for a 'running total':

How to remove the page break for CSV report

I'm working on a rdf report and have an issue with page break.
As usual there exits a page break in the report output. how do I remove it.
work around: set Page break before/after : NO
worked on margin re-size, how ever could not resolve the issue.

There are two ways to do this:
1) If you want to remove and individual dimension from a presentation, you can hide the dimension. This can be performed directly from within QueryBuilder. Within the first section of Query Builder that shows the selected measures selected and associated dimensions, simply remove the required dimensions from the right dialog panel.
2) To hide all page items within a presentation, simply add the following the property, pagingControlVisible="False", to the presentation tag in your JSP. For example:
<orabi:Presentation location="Local Computer Sales/Products/KPI Sales Prior Period and Prior Year" id="BIProductKPIs_pres2" pagingControlVisible="False"/>

Do you know how to modify a selection text in the selection screen of a standard report, such as changing "Storage Location" in the selection screen of report MB5B to "storage Loc"?
one of a way to realize it is to modify the text of relevant data element.
except modifying the data element directly, It seems that use SE63 could do it, but I forgot how to use it.

    I want to restrict the Null values of a perticular key figure in the Bex Query Output.
I will explain in details. i have 3 key figures in my query.. let us assume.. key1 key2key3

i don't want to see the the records for which key 2 is 0.
we have a setting in the Bex Query for restricting the Zero values in the query properties. If we enable that setting it will show

but i want the report to display..
4               4           100.00
0               1           10.00
can any body guide me. <b>i want to display the values if key2 <> 0.</b>

Time taken to execute a query = FRONT END TIME + OLAP TIME + DB TIME.
front end time is time taken to do format in BEX.
olap time is time taken to aggegate data in OLAP buffer.
db time is tme taken to collect data at data target.
to fine all these information
goto RSRT -> give query name -> execute+debug -> it will display all the fields > check fields what ever u want.

I have changed my variaable in my bw query ,I found if you use SAP default variable it is ok in BO side . So I get a guidline by SAP default variable ,I changed my customer variable in variables edite ,don't use 'ready for input' .And then the variable can be useful in BO side .

Can you please tell me how to know the run time of the query , i mean how much time it took for the query to dispaly the results .
Also we have these queries in the workbook. How to refresh the work book . is it enough if i refresh the query.
