How to transmit video in the same PC

The AVTransmit2 and AVRecive2 run in 2 different PC, but if i want to run in 1 PC, what should i do ?
Where should i modify the code o IP and port ?
Please help me.

1- In AVTransmit2 you should find following:
localAddr = new SessionAddress( InetAddress.getLocalHost(),port);change it to:
localAddr = new SessionAddress( InetAddress.getLocalHost(),
SessionAddress.ANY_PORT);2- You can also transmit to multicast address (first octet of IP address: 224-239), then in receiver use the same address... you would then be able to receive the transmitted media on the same system.

OK...this is a probably a very basic question but I'm not sure how to word it clearly.
How can I create multiple versions of a video within the same project? What I mean is that I have a bout 50 minutes of video and I want to make two DVDs using different clips from this original 50 minutes of footage. It would be a real pain to have to re-import the video AGAIN for the second DVD. I suppose I could drop anything I don't want to burn to DVD back into the clips pane but that would wipe out all my transitions wouldn't it? I want to save each project in their “raw” form so I can burn additional DVDs later otherwise I would just do them one at a time and not care about one of them being destroyed.

You can't. You make separate projects using the same or different clips, segments, transitions, titles, etc. You can even duplicate the first project and then modify/make the desired changes in the duplicated project. Each project can then be burned as a different DVD or as different titles on the same DVD if there is enough room.

InDesign's PDF export engine does not transcode your videos, they are embedded exactly as they were in the original file. The Flash Player runtime which displays video inside PDF files may not show a perfect match to Quicktime etc. because most video playback tools aren't designed for a color-calibrated workflow, but they should be close.
The playback quality (blocking and aliasing) will be affected if the clip is not playing at 100% (screen pixels != video pixels) and in PDFs with the standard video player widget, that will only ever happen when you use 'floating window' mode. PDF pages have physical dimensions, so viewing them at "100%" does not make them match screen pixels.
If you don't mind the video clip being smaller than the media annotation in which it's playing, then use my free upgrade to the Acrobat playback widget - VideoPlayerX - which maintains 1:1 pixel scale until the page is zoomed out too far for it to fit. You can install the widget into InDesign so it's used by default when exporting.

Have you ever even used skype on an iphone or ipod? We tried it and there is no way to type to each other while you are video chatting. You can do the typing during the video on a COMPUTER, but not on an iphone or ipod.

Loading and Playing 2 videos at the same time

Hello everyone
I'm having a problem on loading and playing two videos at the same time on XletView.
The background video, I'm loading by editing channels.xml that is located at config folder into xletview folder. I've just to add the file path and when i start the video it starts playing.
But now, I have a problem. I have to load a file that is into my HD, and play it at the same time of the main(background) video.
Do anyone know how to do this?

Split audio from video doesn't split video at the same point ?

When I split the audio from a video in GarageBand I would like the video to be split at the same point (so that I can insert audio in between without everything getting out of sync).
Is this possible?
(I don't want to use iMovie since that turns my 150 MB mov file into a 8 GB file..take ages to import)
The reason I want to insert audio in between video fragments is that I am creating an audio description of a tv series for a blind friend. I watch the video, pause that, and describe. Then continue.
If I can split both the video and "audio from video" at the same point and drag those to the right, so there's room to record something in between (then in the end I'll just drag it all so that the parts join up, delete the video and merge the audio. I hope.)

Oh my! Obviously, I don't know what I'm doing. But I do know that my goal was to do both---backup AND free some space. My iMAc is old (2006) and I upgraded it a year or so ago to Snow Leopard. I didn't think I had the capability of backing up without an external drive, but maybe I do since I upgraded. Do I?
But I bought this My Book mostly for freeing space because I like to make cards in Photoshop and I'm forever running out of space when I get too many layers (don't really know what I'm doing there, either).

Thank you so much for beng so prompt with your reply and patient with mine. I tried for so long to see the dialog box with the library listings. When I launched iPhoto, even with holding down the Option key, it kept immediately launching into the full screen. Finally, after an hour of doing it over and over again, it worked when I held the key down for 5 minutes. Then when I was typing my reply, I kept getting a message to "Request Time Out." Didn't know how to do that, so kept hitting the OK button and kept typing for another half minute. Finally, when ready to send, Safari couldn't do it. "Try again" exasperated me until I realized I would have to begin again and use Firefox. When I got there and ready to type, I got the message that my message had been retrienved and did I want to use it?!!

Does anyone know how to keep flv files in sync? They play
synced correctly, but once I stop one, I do not know how to make

Yes, it does not work even though it should. That is my
problem. And now I have two videos that were encoded differently
which I think gave me a clue to the problem.
For the boards reference in case anyone else ever needs to do
this...After doing more tests, I am starting to think that it has
something to do with the video keyframes. The Flash livedocs
mentions something about only jumping to specified points in the
video where keyframes exists. I am thinking that my videos have
different keyframes so sometimes it is off a little, and sometimes
more. Please correct me if there is a simpler problem AND solution
as this wont help me since I am not sure I can encode all my videos

I may load apps under a school Apple ID and have users load their own apps under thier own ID.

Can I use the same Apple ID on all iPads for a particular grade level?
Are the rules different for iOS devices and computers?
I know that there are limits on "authorize" and "de-authorize" and how frequently those things can be done.
Recently I heard that for the life of an iOS device, it can only be associated with five Apple IDs. That is not good for a school giving iPads to students in a 1:1

You cannot. The apps are assigned to that Apple ID and there is nothing you can do to change that. You could choose to download them again with the new Apple ID, any paid apps will need to be purchased again.
