How to turn off song title scrolling

When I play my ipod through my car stereo arrangement, I can hear the scrolling of the song title (digital beeps). is there a way to turn the scrolling off? I have the newest generation 30gig ipod.

In my case i need to display more no of columns and tabs in the page.So users need to scroll horizontally to the right side if they want to see all the values which is not user friendly.
Is there any way we can fix horizontal scrolling?

the problem is that it's great to have the quick scroll, but once i got into that letter, it's hard to scroll to the middle without going to a different letter.
example... I want to go to "one step closer"... i would do quick scroll to letter "O"... but then i want to go to the middle to "one..."... but if i go too fast, it went to letter "P"... and so on... Is there an easier way???...

for some reason apple don't want to release it for the older 5g ipod... they can release game download for the older 5g ipod, because they would make money of it...
I would pay $5 just to get that search function added to my ipod...

iam currently using xperia ZL tried to turn on "talkback" from the settings. The phone immediately became sluggish and unresponsive, and I am now unable to scroll. I tend to select things from left to right and every time I am moving in a downward right diagonal motion during lasso selection I am missing a clear view and I am tending to have a more sloppy selection. All this does is slow me down since I need to go back and hit those areas again. The big arrowhead just get's in the way. The original lasso tool with the thin line and small active point at it's lower left was far better for me.
I don't like turning the cursors to precise because I like to see the active tool icon where my cursor is and as the icon changes as I hold modifier keys down. If I am forced to get comfortable with using pricise cursors I guess I will, but man, I've never had to do this in my 15 years of photoshop use...
I would absolutely LOVE to find a way to get the old lasso icon -- without the arrowhead above it.
Is there any chance this option could be inlcuded in cursor preferences? I'd give much thanks, Adobe.

Not sure what you are wanting to do, but if you do not want to be signed into iCloud on your device, you would do that by deleting the iCloud account that is signed in on that device: Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and press the delete button. Type in the Apple ID/iCloud password, and then answer each prompt until it is complete.
This is done directly on the device. There is no way to "turn off" iCloud on your device via a computer, unless you wipe the device and remove it from your iCloud account under the Find My iPhone app, but that requires that you wipe the device before you can remove it:

I think you have the accessibility VoiceOver feature turned on.

Just disable it -
Task manager > Startup > Click "Yoga Picks" > Click "disable"
Next time you start your computer no more annoying pop ups. If you want to be annoyed again you can always re-enable it.

I simply want to know how to turn off iCloud* without losing my contacts

Call me old fashioned, but I really do NOT want to use iCloud EXCEPT for ONE THING*: and that's to find my phone, ipad or laptop if it goes missing.
Having said that, I have figured out how to turn off icloud on my ipad and my iphone (I am not using the phone as a phone, just as a glorified ipod) while keeping the "find my ipad/iphone" function active, BUT
I can't quite figure out how to do it on my laptop.
I seem to have done it already for photos, and for the calendar, (I know this from checking iCloud to see what it's got) but just cannot figure out how to turn it off for contacts.
And YES, I've backed up all of those things at LEAST 3 different ways, I just don't want the Cloud to be one of them.
So can anyone tell me how to turn off contacts in the cloud without it also magically deleting them in my laptop? (I had it happen on the ipad, that's why I'm worried.)

If you are refering to documents such as Pages and Numbers files....
The only way around this is to "save as" you icloud documents using the associated app to a local folder on your mac. Then turn off icloud.
Of course, when you sign off of icloud, the docs are removed from the mac, but remain in icloud. In the future when you sign back in, the documents are available to you again.
Oh, and the icloud documents are also stored locally in ...
~/Library/Mobile Documents
Note that Library in the user's home folder is now hidden, so you'll have to set Finder to view hidden files.
The Mobile Documents folder has subfolder where copies of the doc/data files are stored.
You can move these files to another folder to save them.

Apple ID's are not device specific, so when you changed it on the iPad 2 it changed it on the iPhone 4 as well, since it's the same account still. What you need to do is create a second Apple ID (so you'll have two accounts, one for iPhone 4 and a seperate one for iPad 2).
To create a new Apple ID on your iPad 2:
1) Go into Settings > Store.
2) If you are already signed in, tap your Apple ID on the screen and you will be given a few options, one of which is to sign out of your account.
3) After you sign out, now click the "Sign in" button.
4) Tap "Create New Apple ID" and follow the instructions on-screen.
