How to update Locator & lot_control having transaction exists

Dear,
We have to set item on lot_control & locator control base while these item has alread balance exists in transaction table like quantity in hand, now could you please advice how could it possiable to update flag without removing qty or balance.

this is actual requirement
in the CAT2.
1. Add a new column for WBS description and derive the value as per the FS
2. Retrieve project number and description and update in the column specified
3. When a service order is selected it should do the same for 2.
4. Finally repeat for the worklist view (which is the section above)
here i am able to display values at data entry area
for service order and network but not worklist area ?
updation is not coming, can u plz go throw it..

I was facing the exact same issue and just figured out the solution: the issuing storage location is only accepted if the supplying plant is passed at the same time (in the header structure). That solved the issue for me!

So, i assume you want to change one picture. On Stage, i have edgeAnimate (an image), and
1) i am using the div tag.
So: sym.$("edgeAnimate").css("background-image", "url(images/myImage.png)" ); will change my picture.

The docs in the wiki suggest locate -u but this is failing with:
locate: invalid option -- u
It's also not working the same way as on Darwin / RH,

No you don't. Show us.
Oracle ensures "statement level constraint" consistency. If you do this in one update statement (which is what you state above), then Oracle will not give you a constraint error.
For if it did, then we all would have a serious problem: whether or not the update succeeds would then depend on the order in which Oracle (ie. the execution plan) happens to update the rows. And we can't have such 'undeterministic' behavior (similar to what we would have when Oracle did not provide us with the mutating table error...).
So just try it, or show us:
create table uk_test
(i number not null unique)
insert into uk_test values(4);
insert into uk_test values(3);
insert into uk_test values(2);
commit;Now try both of these:
update (select * from uk_Test order by i desc) set i=i-1;
update (select * from uk_Test order by i) set i=i-1;They both succeed. Oracle allows temporary constraint violations during/inside the execution of one statement. There is no need to set this constraint to deferred here.

Using this indicator, you can control if a document or a document item (SD billing document, MM purchase order) will be excluded from or included in one or more types of declarations to the authorities.
Proceed as follows:
1. Define the inclusion or exclusion indicator. Define for which declaration type an inclusion or exclusion is to take place.
2. Assign the indicator to the document or document item that you want to include in or exclude from a declaration. The assignment takes place in the Foreign Trade data of the document.
3. If you also want to exclude document items with particular item types from a declaration, assign an exclusion indicator to the corresponding item types in Customizing.
Example
You want to define an exclusion indicator that excludes documents from the EXTRASTAT and KOBRA declaration. Create an exclusion indicator and select the "exclusion column" in the definition of exclusion indicators for the EXTRASTAT and KOBRA declaration types.
As soon as this indicator is assigned to a document, this document will not be included in the EXTRASTAT and KOBRA declarations.
Note
Inclusion or exclusion indicators assigned at FT data header level in the document apply to all document items if there is no other indicator at item level.
in our case the values for this field are '01'

basically these are all RMAs
I need to update the second record as 1094SUZ-0538JQ0003-B as per the guidelines, while updating I need to keep all the existing contracts, Warranty, what ever material transations it has, need to be same.
we have a package updating the serial numbers using IB API (csi_Item_Instance_Pub.update_item_instance) but it is updating only the records which has no serial numbers present for that instance, if there is a serial number already exists it is not working.

Log data changes
The logging flag defines whether changes to the data records of a table
should be logged. If logging is activated, every change (with UPDATE,
DELETE) to an existing data record by a user or an application program
is recorded in a log table in the database.
Note: Activating logging slows down accesses that change the table.
First of all, a record must be written in the log table for each change.
Secondly, many users access this log table in parallel. This could cause
lock situations even though the users are working with different
application tables.
Dependencies
Logging only takes place if parameter rec/client in the system profile
is set correctly. Setting the flag on its own does not cause the table
changes to be logged.
The existing logs can be displayed with Transaction Table history (SCU3)

I had an interview question that is:
How to update a table (Customer) on a server ex: Report Server with the data from the same table (Customer) from another server ex: Transaction server?
Set up steps so that inset, update or delete operation gets done correctly across servers.
I was not sure about the answer, it would be great if someone please put some light on this and explain in details about this process in MS SQL Server 2008 R2.
Also it would be very helpful if you please describe would it be different for SQL Server 2012? If so, then what are the steps?
