How to use 0EC_CJOB_ATTR instead of 0JOB_ATTR  in 2004S ECC HR BI?

Situation:
We did some enhancement (addition of fields) to the datasource 0EC_CJOB_ATTR. All the changes made to  0EC_CJOB_ATTR appear in 0JOB_ATTR as well.
1. But when trying to extract data in /nRSA3, 0JOB_ATTR is erroring out and 0EC_CJOB_ATTR does not give any data eventhough ECC maintains some data for some particular PERNRs. Is there any suggestion on what could be the reason?
2. In the standard cubes like 0PA_C01, 0JOB is used as a characteristics. What is the process to use 0EC_CJOB instead of 0JOB so that we can use the standard cubes and associated queries without customization? Any thoughts?
Thanks

  • How to use CL_PROXY_BASIS instead of CL_PROXY_CLIENT your ABAP Proxy class?

    Hello experts,
    I have a scenario where a new basis release was done in my development and testing SAP boxes (Basis Release 710 I believe) which means from then on when generating an ABAP Proxy class the inheriting class will be used is CL_PROXY_CLIENT as opposed to the previous CL_PROXY_BASIS.
    This causes a problem though because the target date for the project, which uses this ABAP proxy, is supposed to be in the production system before the date when the basis release will be done in the production system.  Obviously this will cause delays in my project since if I were to move my objects to production before the basis release a dump/syntax error will occur in production because the class CL_PROXY_CLIENT is not expected be production yet.
    The next plan is to try to use CL_PROXY_BASIS instead of CL_PROXY_CLIENT, by editing my ABAP Proxy Class be force. My question is, what steps do I need to take so that I can change these classes so CL_PROXY_BASIS will be referenced/used instead of CL_PROXY_CLIENT ?
    I hope to hear from all of you soon.
    Regards

    Depending on software you're using (creative (surround) mixer or windows play/recording controls) you just need to un-mute the microphone source channel and set the recording device to microphone.

  • How to use icon instead of bitmap for image on button in toolbar?

    Hello,
    I am trying to use an image that has a transparent background on one of the buttons on our custom toolbar in Adobe Acrobat.
    In the past we have been using the following code with Bitmaps to display the image and it has worked perfectly:
    ======================================================================
    AVIcon icon = LoadBitmap(gHINSTANCE, MAKEINTRESOURCE(IDB_OPTIONS_LARGE));
    toolButton = AVToolButtonNew(ASAtomFromString("IMGR:Options"), icon, true, false);
    ====================================================================
    Background info on the other objects:
    V0200_DATA* dataPtr = (V0200_DATA*) windowsData;
    gHINSTANCE = dataPtr->hInstance;
    Resource File:
    IDB__OPTIONS_LARGE BITMAP "Resources\\ImageOptions_Large.bmp"
    IDI_ICON1 ICON "Resources\\Image_Icon.ico"
    Unfortunately, these bitmaps are not transparent and end up showing the white background instead of the transparent one.
    I have tried using Icons and PNGs as my image but I have been unable to get anything to show up. Here is the code I am using to get the AVIcon:
    ===================================================================
    AVIcon icon = LoadImage(gHINSTANCE, MAKEINTRESOURCE(IDI_ICON1), IMAGE_ICON, 0, 0, LR_DEFAULTSIZE);
    ===================================================================
    However, no image appears on the toolbar. I am able to use LoadImage with the bitmap, but I am unable to make it transparent, even when using the LR_LOADTRANSPARENT flag.
    If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it!
    Thanks,
    Ryan

    I got it worked with PNG file. I got transparent backgrounds in toolbar and menus.
    below is my code,
    HRSRC resource = FindResource(gHINSTANCE, MAKEINTRESOURCE(IDB_SAVE_21_PNG), L"PNG");
    if( resource == NULL )
         //Unable to load resource
    DWORD resourceSize = SizeofResource(gHINSTANCE, resource);
    HGLOBAL glob = LoadResource(gHINSTANCE, resource);
    LPVOID resouceArray = LockResource(glob);
    ASUns8  *data = (ASUns8*)ASmalloc(resourceSize + 1);
    memcpy(data, resouceArray, resourceSize);
    AVIconDataRec  iconData;
    iconData.dataStm  =  ASMemStmRdOpen(( char  *)data, resourceSize);
    iconData.eColorFormat  =  kAVIconColor;
    void * iconBundle = AVAppCreateIconBundle6(kAVIconPNG, &iconData, 1);
    AVToolButtonNew (ASAtomFromString("PFXDOC:Pfx_DocumentToolSave"),
                                            iconBundle, true, false);

  • How to use checkboxes instead of radio button in datagrid

    I have a datagrid. I have two checkboxes in datagrid.That checkboxes should act like radio button.ie we can select only one checkbox at a time. If we select second checkbox,then the first selected checkbox should deselected.How to handle this scenario.Please give some code samples.
    Thanks & Regards
    kvpdy

    You could do that, but it will be a lot easier doing it from the data model. This way you don't have to modify the behavior of the chart, it just blindly renders the data given to it. Behind the scenes you're dealing with boolean values, so it's pretty easy to write setters accomplish this.
    public function set myAttribute(value:Boolean):void
         setAttributesTiedTogetherToFalse();
         _attrib = value;

  • How to use standard print prog SAPFM06P in an ECC 6.0 environment?

    Dear all,
    I am working in an Upgrade proj, and I find this print prog SAPFM06P remarkably different in both the systems 4.6C & ECC 6.0. It seems the ECC 6.0 print program is configured for an Adobe form.
    But the requirement I have is that of printing a custom SAP Script through either this standard print program SAPFM06P or a copy of the same. How do I go about in making this print program adaptable to calling a SAP Script instead of an Adobe form ?
    Will greatly appreciate a quick response on this.
    Thanks a dozen!
    Aradhana.

    Actually there are many includes in this standard print program SAPFM06P that have been commented out by SAP in this new version ECC 6.0.
    I could make it work with the configuration of the message in NACE, but my concern is whether I would be able to incorporate all the functionality that those includes have.
    Do let me know your thoughts on this.
    Thanks!

  • How to use Crystal Reports XI in SBO 2004 ?

    Hello,
    I´m making an Add-on in VB .Net and need to show a report from Crystal Reports XI (a .rpt file). My Add-on is a Console Application. From what i have read from this forum the best way is to use a Windows Form (not a form from SBO) with a "Crystal Report Viewer". How is this done exactly?
       1 - What refences to include in the project?
       2 - How to assign to Crystal Report Viewer to the Windows Form?
       3 - How do i change in VB .Net code (that is, in runtime) the datasource from the .rpt file?
    Can you please give a code example.

    It depends on which BW environment has an RFC connection to the ECC environment you're activating the DataSource in. Typically, environments are paired, similar (but not always) like the depiction below:
    ECC Development <-> BW Development
    ECC QA <-> BW QA
    ECC Production <-> BW Production
    Best Practices suggest that a DataSource be activated and put on a transport in the ECC Development environment. Upon activation of the DataSource in ECC Development, replication of the DataSource in the BW Development environment can take place and Best Practices suggest putting the DataSource on a transport in BW. As the ECC transport is promoted throughout the ECC landscape, the BW transport is promoted throughout the BW landscape in order to keep them in sync.
    So, if the envrionment that you've just activated the DataSource has an RFC connection to your BW Production environment, you can replicate in BW Production and if that's your standard practice, then that's the way your should do it. It's typically, however, not considered a Best Practice to be able to create, update or delete in a production environment.

  • How to modify a lookup field-type to use checkbox instead of radiobutton?

    How to modify a lookup field-type to use checkbox instead of radiobutton?
    I would like to modify the behavior for the lookup field.
    Normally you get a screen where it is possible to search through a lookup. The items resulted from the search are listed as radiobutton items. Therefore you can select only one at the time to be added.
    Is it possible to have the items to be listed as checkbox instead? So that you can check multiple items and therefore be able to add multiple items at the time?
    For example:
    To add the user to 10 different groups on MS-AD.
    It is desired to have the ability to check multiple groups to be added instead only one at the time.
    My client would like to use this feature in many other situations.

    Displaying will not be a big deal but with that you have to customize the action class and its working as well.

    Thank you.
    And another question if the data is already there in the child table if i try to load alone it must delete the old data in the child tablee and need to get load the new data and
    How to do this ?
    Arunraj Kumar
    You can do that with an IF EXISTS condition
    IF EXISTS (SELECT 1
    FROM YourChildTable c
    INNER JOIn @temptable t
    ON c.Bkey1 = t.Bkey1
    AND c.Bkey2 = t.Bkey2
    DELETE t
    FROM YourChildTable c
    INNER JOIn @temptable t
    ON c.Bkey1 = t.Bkey1
    AND c.Bkey2 = t.Bkey2
    INSERT INTO YourChildTable
    where Bkey1,Bkey2 etc forms the business key of the table

  • I would like to read a text file in which the decimal numbers are using dots instead of commas. Is there a way of converting this in labVIEW, or how can I get the program to enterpret the figures in the correct way?

    The program doest enterpret my figures from the text file in the correct way since the numbers contain dots instead of commas. Is there a way to fix this in labVIEW, or do I have to change the files before reading them in the program? Thanks beforehend!

    You must go in the labview option menu, you can select 'use the local
    separator' in the front side submenu (LV6i).
    If you use the "From Exponential/Fract/Eng" vi, you are able to select this
    opton (with a boolean) without changing the labview parameters.

  • What are Parameters? How are they differenet from Variables? Why can't we use variables for passing data from one sequnece to another? What is the advantage of using Parameters instead of Variables?

    Hi All,
    I am new to TestStand. Still in the process of learning it.
    What are Parameters? How are they differenet from Variables? Why can't we use variables for passing data from one sequnece to another? What is the advantage of using Parameters instead of Variables?
    Thanks in advance,
    LaVIEWan
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi,
    Using the Parameters is the correct method to pass data into and out of a sub sequence. You assign your data to be passed into or out of a Sequence when you are in the Edit Sequence Call dialog and in the Sequence Parameter list.

  • How to use a bluetooth dongle instead of built-in BT?

    Just got an "Ultra Long Range Industrial" bluetooth dongle (BTD Bluetooth Dongle BT-6610).  I want to use it instead of the built-in bluetooth because it has a much longer range.
    How do I disable the built in bluetooth and enable the BT-6610?

    Hi X42:
    Your last paragraph intrigued me as I had the same impression:
      I thought unlicensed BT devices were legally limited by the FCC to about 30 feet (3 meters)
    Actually, 30 feet is 10 meters.
    Anyway, I researched and found this as part of a Wikipedia item:
    Bluetooth is a standard wire-replacement communications protocol primarily designed for low power consumption, with a short range (power-class-dependent, but effective ranges vary in practice; see table below) based on low-cost transceiver microchips in each device.[7] Because the devices use a radio (broadcast) communications system, they do not have to be in visual line of sight of each other, however a quasi optical wireless path must be viable.[2]

    Class 3

    ~5 meter
    The effective range varies due to propagation conditions, material coverage, production sample variations, antenna configurations and battery conditions. In most cases the effective range of class 2 devices is extended if they connect to a class 1 transceiver, compared to a pure class 2 network. This is accomplished by the higher sensitivity and transmission power of Class 1 devices.[8]
    Apparently there are BT devices that will transmit about 300 feet.  I did look at the FCC site, but quickly became confused in the technbabble.

    Need a shortcut to "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above option preference" I know where it is and how to use it but I have to go through 7 mouse clicks to change it, then a few minutes later change it back. I also know the sequnce is alt t, alt o, alt c, alt a, then ok, ok. Got to be a way to make a one key short cut for this. I use a black background to reduce eye strain, but about 10% of the webpage I go to can't be send with black so I have to go into tools and hit 6 or 7 things to chnage it then after through with webpage have to do it all over at Not allow webpages to have own color. Very very cumbersome.
