How to use Borland JBuilder9 to convert Java into C?

Hi there!
I know this topic has been discussed since the beginning of time, but I would like to compile a Windows executable (.exe). I have tried all possible tools (e.g. exe4j, JET etc.) to do so, but they all do require a JVM at some level. I heard that Borland JBuilder 9 has the capability to convert Java into C code and then compile it directly. Has anybody done that before? And if so, how does it work? I have been playing around with JBuilder, but have not been able to find an option to do so.

Once you've created a project and written your code, just go to wizards/NativeExecutableBuilder menu.
Configure few stupid things. It's done. Compile it.

  • How to use to_char(oracle function) in java

    Hi,
    I am getting the value as a integer from one table in my java file and want to insert it into another table as a varChar..
    I found one method in oracle like to_char().. can i use this in java..
    can u pls let me know how to use this in java..or is there any other way to convert it..
    for example, i am getting the value is : 4 (number) from one table. and want to insert it into another table like : 04 (varchar)..
    how can i convert it and insert into another table as a varchar..
    please help me

    Well part of the answer depends on what db your using but semantically if I just HAD to do what you're doing I would use a stored procedure to do the insert into the second table or better yet do the whole thing in a stored procedure which would make life much easier all the way around.
    Implicit lesson here: Use the RIGHT tool for the job at hand.
    The big question though is why do you have data that's of one type in one place and another type in another place?

    Hi,
    1) put .properties file to your packege under src\packages folder (src\packages\com\sdn\properties\jco.properties)
    2) load property:
         final InputStream is = getClass().getClassLoader().getResourceAsStream("com/sdn/properties/jco.properties");
         final Properties properties = new Properties();
         try
              properties.load(is);

  • How to use .joboptions file while converting from Word to PDF

    Hi,
    I'm pretty new to Acrobat. I'm using Acrobat XI. I need to convert a word document to a PDF file which conforms to certain requirements described by a given .joboptions file. The .joboptions file can be opened by distiller, but as far as I know distiller is not invovled in the conversion (Word to PDF) process. So how can I make sure the converted PDF file meets the requirement described by the .joboptions file?

    Distiller is used when converting from Word to PDF, if you do it via the Acrobat panel, not the Adobe PDF printer or Word's internal Export to PDF command. If you've loaded your joboptions file in Distiller (via Settings - Add Adobe PDF Settings), then you will see it in the drop-down of Conversion Settings when you click the Preferences button in the Acrobat panel in Word.
    After you've selected your job options profile click the Create PDF button, and the file will be converted using the selected options.

  • How to use File Transfer Protocol in Java?

    hi all,
    im new to java. i dont know how to use FTP in java. but i want to transfer files from my machine to another machine and also i want to download files from that machine through FTP. how can i start this program. pls any one give me the code for this program. thanks in advance.

    Of course you didn't get an "exact result", since that link was to an article which reviewed several products. If you aren't capable of making a decision based on that article, try using the Apache Commons/Net FTP component.

  • How do use an Import Command from DB2 into a java program

    I have to use a csv file to load data into a table, after connecting to the database and using the execute, it does not recognise the import statement.
    How do i import that file into a table using a java program

    Import is a DB2 utility program which uses sql Insert to write data into a table. Insert is called from the CLP (command line processor), not from Java. If you want to do this job using Java, then you need to establish a connection to the database, and write your own sql insert statements.

  • How to using the executable software in Java

    I got a software named: pdf to text convertor; which can format the text interface from the pdf, for example, you need add the page number with a4 paper, then the convertor can change the pdf into text with page numbers. it is running on the doc, the command like: c:\pdfconvertor\xpdfrc.exe "c:\filename\name.pdf", after the text file will exist in the same directory with the pdf file.
    so my problem is how to use java to call this DOS command to execute the program, and then java can read the text file, does some one give me some idea? better with simple java code!! Thanks very much! I will pay dollar for the solutions

    You can use:
    String[] cmd = {"c:\\pdfconvertor\\xpdfrc.exe", "c:\\filename\\name.pdf"};
    Process p = Runtime.getRuntime().exec(cmd);Wait for the process to finish:
    p.waitFor()and do your thing with the output file.
    Note there are mechanisms for capturing the input and output of the subprocess; see java.lang.Process javadoc.

  • How to use plug-in language converter

    Hi All.
    I downloaded to visual studio 2010 plug-in language converter to convert VB to C#. How to use that tool?
    Thanks.

    What does has to do with WPF? Nothing.
    And what kind of plug-in are you talking about? The following one from the Visual Studio Gallery you simply install by clicking on the "download" button and then you restart Visual Studio and display the window by choosing View->Other Windows->LanguageConverter:
    https://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/cc8da841-f978-4c3e-8397-c820bd57298c
    You can then click on the "Load File" button to load the code file to be converted.
    Note that no code converter is perfect though (see the REVIEWS tab on the link above).
    Telerik also has an online converter that converts (or at least tries to) VB.NET code to C# and vice versa:
    http://converter.telerik.com/.
    Please note that these forums are intended for Microsoft's products and technologies only though so please ask any question you may have about third-party software or plugins directly to the creator.
