Version number important for Firmware?

Hi
I've got a WRT54GL DE-AT v1.1 Router with Firmware Version v4.30.7. I'd like to upgrade to Firmware Version 4.30.9 due to problems with UPnP.
However the download site states explicitly that the update is for version 1.0.
Can I use the update without problems?

It is SAP standard. Use character with combination of number.
Like A0,A1......, B0,B1..... etc.
Surprised how you reached version 99 so fast in SAP.

No versions after import for customer objects

Hi all!
I have a little problem with transporting of (customer dictonary objects) and the versions.
The system enviroment is SAP ECC 6, software level
SAPKB70016
SAPKA70016
SAPKH60302
On the developer system the customer objects have versions - after transporting them to the quality system they have no versions.
On the other side SAP Objects e. g. table BSEG or BKPF have versions - in the developer and also quality system.
Its a strang thing. Normally versions will be created after import in a seperate step.
How can i check if something is wrong with versions? The parameter "vers_at_imp" is not set in the tpparam but i think that shouldn't be a matter.
Please can anybody help me - I don't believe that it will be a bug because all notes I found were for older releases.

Installer DVD version number question for FCS 3

Hello All,
I just purchased a used FCS3. Upon inspection of the DVD, all of the DVDs say "Version 3.0, 2009", except for the DVD Studio Pro which says "Version 2.0, 2007"
Now I know apple didn't do much for DVD Studio Pro between FCS2 and FCS3. So I want to know if they at least updated their installer DVD in the FCS3, or did they just recycle the FCS2 installer DVD?
Can someone check their FCS3 installer DVDs and verify that the DVD Studio Pro installer also should say "Version 3.0, 2009"? I think the seller may have accidentally swapped the FCS2 installer in there by mistake, but I wanted to make sure before I start asking questions.
I own FCS2, and the DVD Studio Pro DVD is identical..

The DVD SP app is on the main disc - although there is a separate disc for the additional content such as templates etc.
You should see this in the installer dialog...

Have followed instructions for displaying Version number. Does not work. I believe "Firefox button" means the gold & blue globe? No "Help" button. Can find no reference anywhere to version number.

I believe that I have installed v.5 but can find no confirmation anywhere.... till now, when your "educated guess" shows v.5.0.1. Please give me concise instructions for displaying the version number. (For most software packages, "About" works... but not in this case.)

How do I make my iPhoto Library's version number appear in the Get Info window?

I recently (within the past 2 weeks) purchased a new 27 inch iMac and have been importing data (applications and files) from my 2010 Macbook Pro via AirDrop. One of the first files I migrated over was my iPhoto Library. I doing so, I noticed a few differences between its file attributes and those of the iPhoto Library file created by default on my new computer - two of which I'll note here. First, I noticed that the file resident on my new OS was labeled iPhoto Library.photolibrary while my older version did not have the ".photolibrary" extension. That seemed simple enough to correct so I added that extension to my old library file. The second difference I'd note - and the source of my question - is that the default iPhoto Library file displayed a version number (9.5.1) in its "Get Info" window, while mine did not. I checked my file's info.plist file and the correct information seems to be listed. It reads (in part):

I'm not sure this is really a question for the iPhoto community, as it seems like a more general issue; but, this is my first post to these forums, and I didn't know where to start. Thanks in advance for the advise/suggestions.

In terms of the info.plist file, I only reviewed it to see why I wasn't seeing the version number in the GetInfo window.
The string "<key>CFBundleGetInfoString</key>
               <string>iPhoto Libary 9.5.1</string>"
is exactly what will be shown in the Get Info panel. I tested that by simply editing this string in a test library using XCode. I could "Get Info" to show ridiculous versions numbers this way.
However, none of my older iPhoto libraries will show the version string in Get Info, only libraries I created with iPhoto 9.5.1. or Aperture 3.3 or later.
There is probably one of the other database files in the folder "database" - *.appdb and *.db interfering. None of the Library First Aid options did make the version number show for my older iPhoto libraries - not even rebuilding the iPhoto library. The only way I could make the version number show in "Get Info" was by exporting the library as a new library using Aperture. But this exported library is now showing as Aperture library.

WRVS4400N - Version Number

I am unable to find the version number (to determine firmware upgrade) on a WRVS4400N router. Usually it is on the bottom of the device after the model number; but on this device there is only the model number. Based on firmware available, it appears my version choices are - 1.0, 1.1, or 2.0 - can I assume that the version is 1.0 since nothing is listed, or is there another way to determine it?

Thank you for your prompted answer. The main location (called Franklin) has a firmware x1 version as do the other 2 locations. These locations have been up and running for several years with no issues at all. The problem only started when we added the 4th fourth location with the firmware x2 version. When the new location profile was enabled, the main location's VPN tunnels from the other existing locations went into Tunnel DOWN status and only the new location status was Tunnel UP. When I disabled the new location and brought their tunnel status down, the other locations went back online and remained Tunnel UP.
All profiles, protocols and keys are the same. The only difference was the firmware. They have both Cable and DSL at each location if one ISP provider fails as a redundant system.
Been scratching my head on this one for over a week. That is why I was thinking firmware. Bandwidth at the main location is a 5MB UP stream and a 100MB DOWN stream.
Any help or other suggests is greatly appreciated.

Could someone please tell me what the current version of the iPod firmware is? This way, I'll know whether I need to go to a Mac or PC computer to update the firmware of my 5th gen iPod. Thank you very much.

This question is now answered. I wonder if there's a webpage that will post the most current version number when the firmware changes. I guess I could keep asking every now and then. Or one of the Apple iTunes users can update all of us when iTunes lets him know that version has changed.

e.g. I found from my BO XI that the version is 11.0.0.748, but don't know any service patch has applied.
can find a list like:

Adding more: how to get which all versions of BusinessObjects and Crystal Reports is installed on server or on client?
1. To get to know about the Service Packs for CR and BO:
- Go to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > here you will get the list of Crystal Reports and Business Objects Product along with the Service packs and Fix Packs too.
However if BO has MHF or CHF then this information you will not get in Add or Remove programs.
2. about which MHF (Monthly Hot Fix) or CHF (Critical Hot Fix):
For BO:
Go to My Computers > Installation Directory: \ Program Files > BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5 > Patch Folder (inside this folder you will get the details)
For Crystal Reports:
The information on what updates have been installed in Crystal Reports XI Release 1 can be found in C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Crystal Reports 11\Patches\History.txt.

in iba2.0 there for updates there is a new field for: "new version number". default is 1.0.
it the support it said the number must be higher than in the store.
actually I don't see a version number at my book page in the store.
however - since it is published yet the version number probably should be 1.1 or 2.0. I don't see any information how the numers have to be increased.
furthermore I did not see any field to explain about "what's new".
After uploading I got a waring: "ITMS-4172..."

If you update your book and you do not fill out this section, your book will not continue through our review process and thus, will not go live on the iBookstore.
First please ensure you are using the latest version (2.8) of iTunes Producer. You can download this new version in iTunes Connect under the Deliver Your Content module. Adding a Custom Version Number for a schema

I'm currently looking at ways to set an arbitrary version number that would help me know where a particular is currently at. I already have a logging table to indicate which scripts have been run. But I want to "tag" my schema with a version.
In MSSQL I've been using the extended properties. I was wondering if there was such a thing for a Schema. The Comments functions don't seem to be available at that particular level in the database. Should I have a separate table or there's something I can use that's already there but just can't find?

The same Object Version Number for the same person id multiple times

I am currently facing an issue with HRMS tables and the object version number for employees. I am trying to write a report but due to the same object version number for the same person appearing in several row i am getting duplicate information. For example,
person id 91 object version number 32 is on 4 rows and i have no idea why...help please guys, I'm at a lost so far 50 people are facing the same issue.

The person table is date-tracked, so the PK has effective start and end dates as well.
Get the correct record with sysdate(or any particular date) and then check the OVN.

When I look up the account the "password" is a long string of gobbledygook. Something I would never do.
But when I attempt to use that pw I still can't get in.

I'm confess I'm still trying to get a handle on your problem. You do a fantastic job of describing it ... but I'm just trying to picture it accurately in my head.
I think, were I in your shoes, I'd begin by looking at what the debug page has to say for the specific destination in which you're interested in fixing. In other words, I'm not clear on where, exactly, this destination points ...

"Normally", you do not need to specify a site handle to get to your site within your transfer CGI ... if you say "uillinois.edu", it's enough to transfer your users to iTunes U ... but every site still has a handle, and you could, if you wanted to, actually specify it in your transfer CGI. For example, this:

is for a division within my site ... but it's impossible to tell the difference between "site" and "division" from just the handle (I mean, if I didn't say "this is a site" and "this is a division", there'd be no way for you to know). So when I look at your creds and permissions on your debug page, I can't quite tell if they give you download access for your site, or for the specific division you want to fix. If you could open the debug page with your division as destination (or confirm that that's what we're looking at), it'd rule out some things.

Acrobat Version Type And Version Number, For Creative Suite 5 (5.0) / CS5 For Windows

I would like to know the version type and pricise version number for Acrobat that is supplied with Creative Suite 5 (5.0) for Windows Retail Version. (This is the default version number, before any updates) :
To summarise:
For the product:
Platform: Windows
Suite: Creative Suite 5 (CS5) / 5.0
Distribution: Retail
Application: Acrobat
I require:
Version Type: Standard / Pro / Extended
Version Number (Precise): 9.0 / 9.3 / 9.3.2 / (or other)
Disc's Volume Label: (As shown in Windows Explorer)
Ideally this would be found by looking at Acrobat's HELP > ABOUT menu option. (From a Windows installtion of CS5, that has NOT been updated), and not just looking at what is printed on the disc label.

And what concerns Amazon: this "serial number" obtained from Amazon is not a serial number, only a code with which you can request a serial number from Adobe. Here you have to go through "Adobe Store", and look for the button "Serial Number Request". Fill in the form and, after a while you will get a "real" serial number.
