How to use exe4j on JBuilder 9's projects?

i could use exe4j to make .exe file on everything that creates by IDE programs or a textPad except the JBuilder. if i run the exe file that exe4j created will shows a error message says "Cannot find the main class" or something like that, and i am not sure whether i set the direction right or not? did anyone had experience used exe4j created exe files?

i just found my problem, in JBuilder 9 you have to create a jar file and then find a file name called "MANIFEST.MF" in this file has text shows "Manifest-Version: 1.0
Main-Class: memorystate.Memory" and memorystate.Memory(example) is your main class name,...it's weird because i thought main class was MemoryState(this is the name i created)....

How to use the add_line procedure of laf project

Hi all.
I'd like to use the add_line procedure of Laf project to draw a line at a specific place in a canvas. But there are several parameters and i can match the one i'm looking for.
I can for example, set how large, thick, color etc. that line is to be drawned. but indeed i, like to place it at a specific location within a canvas, say (56,31).
My current line of code is:

How to use custom pipeline dlls in Biztalk Projects so that they appear in the send/receive pipeline configuration after deployment?

I have a existing Biztalk application that uses custom pipelines for receiving excel files. I have the dll of that custom pipeline. Now i created another BT application that needs to use that same custom pipeline. But after i deploy the application in
Biztalk, i can't see the pipeline available in Receive pipeline configuration combo box during configuration. I have referenced the custom pipeline dll in my project before deploying, but that doesn't help. I also copied the dll in the C:\Program Files
(x86)\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010\Pipeline Components folder and C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010 folder, but that doesn't make the pipelines appear during configuration too.
Can anyone give any idea on how can i use these custom pipeline dlls in project so that they appear in configuration after deployment?

If you plan on using the deployed pipeline across multiple applications in BizTalk, the BizTalk Application (using the BizTalk Server Administration Console) should have the other application [where the pipeline is deployed] as reference.
For e.g.: Custom Pipeline (myCustomPipeline) part of a BizTalk Project (dll - myCustomProject.dll) deployed under Application [Some Application] also to be used in another BizTalk Application [Some Other Applicaiton] then using BizTalk Server Administartor
right click the "Some Other Application" and select "Properties"
on the "Properties" page, left hand side, select "References"
on the right-hand side, use "Add" to add the "Some Project" as a reference.
Doing so will ensure that ALL resources (maps, schemas, orchestrations, send ports, receive locations, rules, etc.) deployed for "Some Application" are available/referensible in "Some Other Application".

I want to add the nanoxml libraries to Builder in order to have XML processing, how can I do that???

1. Tools -> Configure Libraries -> New (Add NanoXML classes, source and doc directory)
2. Project Properties... Add your newly created nanoxml library to your projects additional libraries tab.
I use German version of JBuilder, so I'm not quite sure if I used the correct labels/names

Hi,
The Bex report uses the Standard Template 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN while it is executed.
So if your sure that the look and feel of all the Reports is going to remain same, you don't need to even attach all these Queries to Templates in WAD.
When you execute the BEx query, it would pick up the standard template and run it in portal.
But if you want to customize the Report Template:
1) You can change this standard template 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN and customize it according to ur requrement in WAD.
2) Or you can create a copy of this standard template and change it as required. Then change the template in spro (transaction RSCUSTV27) to point to this Z template.

I did some mistake few dependent jars were missing in project build path. After adding those missing BO jar files. Now its giving server connection error. Which I am trying to resolve.

Problem description:
1) I want to use Developer Studio to create my own J2EE project. Then I have to use Dictionary Project to maintain my database. My database is Oracle.
2) I created tables in Dictionary project and deployed to database
3) After that I found my tables were deployed into SAPSR3DB schema.
Question:
 What can I do if I want to deploy my tables into another schema other than SAPSR3DB? In real cases I want to separate my tables from the WAS system tables.

If you want to use external database with Java dictionary tables..
Right click on the Java Dictionary Table, from the menu select Create DDL script, then select to which data base you want to generate scripts. It will generate .sql scripts, use this scripts in your database to create tables. But the same time you need to create Data sources in Visual Administrator for your oracle system.

How to use notification with parallel thread

Hi,
I am learning to use Notification to communicate between thread. I still don't know how to use it. In my current project I have a case to use this so I think I should implement this technique. My example is I have a main sequence in that I make a new thread. What I want is the new thread will do a task A when receive a notfication or to exit the thread when the main sequence stop.
I am not sure if using notification is a best practice here? Or should I use a reference data?
What about if I want my thread to do task B if it receive another notification. Is notification still be helpful?

Hello,
You can use Notification to handle parallel threads. I often create two sequences : one containing the process A of your example (StartProcessA). and a second one to stop this process (StopProcessA). In StartProcessA, I create a Notification, with a defined name (as string constante, "StopProcessANotifier" for instance) in the setup group. Then I have the process, in a loop. At the end of this loop, I check the Notification (Wait) with a timeout enabled, and no error if a timeout occurs. this way, the Notification Wait can be used as loop timing, and if the notification is Set in MainSequence, this exit the loop (pick a look at Notification property Step.Result.TimeoutOccured).
To sum up, use a first sequence call in MainSequence, calling StartProcessA, with NewThread option, and do not forget to call StopProcessA at the end of you MainSequence. The Cleanup group is a very good location, because it will be executed even in case of error.
This is a very simple use of Notification. Note, I believe that make it simple is often the most important but also the most complicated thing to do
