How to use Messeges component from a button Action ? (add item to Messages)

I have a Messages component on one of my ADF JSF pages.
i create an Action method for one of my buttons that are on the page and now i need to
add some items to Messages component , for example to alert the manager that the user name he/she want to add to system is already exists.
can some one give me some help about this ?
my problem is that from an Action method how i can access that Messages on the page that called the action.

1. Design:Integration Builder
Double click on the Software Component Version
In the display window, navigate the menu to Software Component Version and select Delete
This removes both the Software Component and the Software Component Version
Ensure that the Change List is empty
2. SLD
Double click on the Software Component and select the Remove button
3. Clear SLD Cache
You may want to go back into the Design:Integration Builder, navigate the menu to Environment and select Clear SLD Data Cache

I needed to add radio buttons to the live (non-destructive)
filter so users could choose which column they wanted to search
data from. Its been modified from the "contains CB" but works
nicely. It also had to rebuild table when another button was
selected. I'll post some code if anyone would like to use it....

How to use ObjectDataProvider component in WDA

Hello all,
I hv an urgent requirement to develop an OADP based application in SAP webdynpro Abap (to fetch tree like structure). i don't know how its possible, but i heard we can use ObjectDataprovider component to do the same.
Does anybody know how to use "ObjectDataProvider" component in web dynpro abap to develop OADP based Webdynpro abap application, a step by step guide would be very nice. or do i need to fetch data myself using methods in webdynpro.

This how to make ring tones for your iPhone:
Choose the desired song from you library
Do a secondary click on your song if you are using a MAC (right click for PC)
Click "Get Info"
Go to Options tab
Set Start Time and Stop Time, some iOS only allow for a 30 sec duration for ringtones, then click OK
Do secondary click (right click for PC) to your selected song
Click "Create AAC Version", new song from your selected will added to your library (short one)
Do secondary click (right click for PC) to your short one (new song)
Click "Show in Finder"
Rename file *.m4a to *.m4r, click "use *.m4r"
Drag the file to library, for the first time it would automatically add your library with new folder "Tones" under Apps folder
Open the ring tones in the Tones folder of your library than drag it to your iPhone and your ringtone also would be automatically added "Tones" folder.
Last but not least, set the ring tone in your iPhone under the "Setting-Sound"

Hi,
There are two ways to do it:
1. Define the account range in your Budget Organization and in the Budgetary Control region, out the Amount Type as "PJTD" and Boundary as "Project". This method is useful when you have project as a segment in your chart of accounts and the Budgets are defined for the full project.
2. The Other way is to carry forward your funds available from last year. Go to Journals -> Generate -> Carry Forward and carry forward the balance for a certain range of account from one financial year to the next one.

Frank gave you the exact answer to your question.
However, I would like to ask if you are indeed asking the right question. Do you really want different libraries? The implications are that you have to "switch" libraries to see what's in the others, and so that your searches don't work across all of your pictures? If so, then you asked the right question. If not, you may be more interested in relocating your masters to multiple hard drives so your library gets smaller, instead of breaking up the library.

How can I STOP iTunes from automatically trying to add podcasts to my iPod when I plug it in and sync it, so I can manage the files? I can't seem to find any other option to uncheck, and can't find an answer from my so-far internet searching.

erict, you blew me away with that suggestion! It was something so simple I couldnt believe I hadnt thought of it! But in the end it didn't work, which I was really surprised about. On Windows anytime anything was moved itunes was hoplessly lost, but on this mac it still kept up with everything. I tried renaming folders, moving folders, and even renaming moved folders but it still kept trying to import.
I even went as far as deleting EVERYTHING i had moved to the Mac, which didnt really work. It still kept trying to import what wasnt there which made it continue to freeze up. However, after doing this it, the freezing was not nearly as bad. It gave me enough of a break to cancel it through the itunes dialog box at the top of the app. So in the end, thats all I really needed to do, only before I had deleted everything the freezing would not allow me to do it.
So now Im reimporting everything again, only slowly, and only a few Artists at a time.

can i make the button size different with normal button size?

How to popup a page from a button not in a region position

Hello.
I am using Apex 2.2.1. I have a form (not a report) on which I've placed a button that is positioned "among the items" as opposed to being placed in a specific region position.
When the button is clicked I would like to have another page popup. The problem is that I can get this to work only if the button is placed in a region position. With the button in a region position, I define the target to be a URL and then place a call to the popUp2 function, as in:
javascript:popUp2('f?p=&APP_ID.:32:&SESSION.::NO:::', 900, 700);
This works fine.
However, I need to position my button on the immediate right hand side of a form item. But when I create a button in such a position, I have no field in which to place the call to the popUp2() function. Instead, I have to create a "Branch to Page or URL" and then place my javascript call in the Branch field. Unfortunately, when I click the button, Apex wants to branch to page zero instead of the desired page. I saw that when I move the mouse over the button, Apex shows:
javascript: doSubmit('MY_BUTTON_REQUEST');
And, as mentioned, Apex tries to branch to page zero.
How does one call the popUp2() function from a button that is not placed in a region position?

Hi Elie,
I had the same problem ... I only got it solved with creating a hidden item and adding the input-tag into the "Post Element Text" field.
Just have a look in the source code of your page, how a button is build and copy the necesaary code to the mentioned field. So you get a button with ApEx layout and can add your javascript call.

For a standard webdynpro object I have created a new z component configuration by copying from existing one. In the standard there are already 2 existing component configuration.
This webdynpro does not have any application created so I am not able to directly assign this component configuration.
During run time in portal when I view the properties I can see a application for this webdynpro component and the standard component configuration being used.
My question is how to use the z component configuration I have created in the webdynpro?

I was successfully able to create a DC that uses the components of other DCs by following the steps given in the link :

Now the problem is that the used DCs should already be deployed before we can deploy the DC that is using these DCs.
Is there any way by which all the used DCs get deployed automatically when we deploy the DC that uses these DCs?
