How to use multiple cost centers with internal order for PO

Dear Gurus,
I have one issue.
For indirct purchase with posting over internal order, my client wants to book good reciepts over different cost centers.

Hi Sameer,
For the scenario you have mentioned, you need to check the account assignement at the PR/PO wherein
you can take Cost center as actual object & internal order (statistical) as assignments.
At the time of Goods receipt the system will the automatically post to Cost center with a statistical posting to Internal order.
You have the second option of maintaining account assignment at time of PR/PO as Inetrnal order only (Actual) & then at the month End you can settle the cost to multiple Cost centers by defining the settlement Rule. For Eg. At the time of settlement you can post 20% to Cost center "A", 50% to Cost center "B" & 30% to Cost center "C".
Assign points...if useful.

    Will a USB hub work to do this? If so, will I always have to remember to use the same controler in the same exact hub input to make sure everything maps the same?
    I guess I'll also have to learn how to setup multiple controllers in Mainstage as well.

    is a question which many of us have spent ...
    I think the obvious answer is that yes you can use a hub and connect everything. however ....
    sincerely advise you to buy a good hub that is well feasible, the last thing you want on stage / rehearsal is one of midi controllers stop responding, or stay with hanged notes... etc., do not buy just because it is cheap it has to be stable and viable, some bring cable for connecting wall power just to not drain power from the USB port.
    Other things to try is to distribute as much equipment for USB / Midi.
    For example one of midi controllers connect via USB but not by Midi outside the Presonus Firestudio. Connecting Presonus Firestudio to a single USB port as it is a main equipment.
    but it really is an issue that greatly limits the use of USB devices.
    Try it and tell me how it went. Good luck

    A long time ago, but yesterday i have had time to try again to setup the MacMini server properly. But no luck.
    sudo changeip -checkhostname
    gives me:
    Primary address          = 192.168.1.** (i don't know it's save enough to put this IP complete on the net)

    The DNS hostname is not available, please repair DNS and re-run this tool.

    So their is something wrong. But how to repair the DNS?
    MacMini server is working properly on our local network, but outside not. I have done the port forwarding.
    Another problem is that i have read that for the server to work properly we have to use fix IP address.
    So, that's what i am doing. But in that way their is no internet connection at all.
    So, no updates and ... .

  • How to use multiple hard drives with RnR??

    I am backing up my T61p's 500GB internal hard drives to an 750GB external USB. I just got a 1.5TB FreeAgent Seagate. I want to use that drive too to backup. I want to keep the backups that are currently on the 750GB. I simply want to *also* make a full backup to the 1.5TB. Is there an easy way to create multiple backups on multiple drives with Rescue & Recovery?
    Once you choose an initial destination (USB drive), there does not seem to be an easy way to start backing up to another drive. Did I miss something?

    Sorry you're having problems. Assuming you've already mounted the drive so that an external drive icon appeared on the desktop, what DO you see when you open it? ANY files?
    Did any of those "weird things" include okay/cancel windows?
    Is your external drive fat32, NTFS, or something else? OSX doesn't play nice with all types of partition types, so this information could help us help you.

    I have an unusual problem I'd eagerly welcome help with:
    I have four MacBook Pros (from 2006-2010) that I use in my day-to-day work, since each of them can run an instance of the client software I work on.
    As you imagine, this consumes a fair amount of desk space having them side-by-side, as well as the seeming redundancy of having each one's screen showing, since I actually only need to focus on one at a time (commanding it to do tasks I can background for awhile). In addition, I prefer to use the mouse over the trackpad whenever possible.
    So I had an inspired idea: I read that you can run a MBP in closed clamshell mode while hooked to an external display. That got me thinking, hmmm, what if I stacked these MBPs in one pile and connected them all to a 4-port KVM, so I could share a monitor, keyboard, and mouse among them?
    Then I saw the prices of some 4-port KVMs, and they get fairly pricey, so I'd like to learn from others' experiences on the following specific questions:
    Are there heat issues I need to be concerned about? The software I work with tends to ramp up a MBP's fans pretty loud.
    Are there KVMs that are known to work best with this config? Some seem more Mac-friendly than others but the ones I'm looking at (Gefen, IOGear) all get mixed reviews thus far. 4 computers sharing 1 DVI display + USB keyboard and mouse seems fine, as 4 sharing 2 seems to jack up the price a lot more, and I don't have a specific need for two monitors.
    I've previously gleaned some info about MBPs with KVMs, but haven't come across a setup like the one I'm suggesting. Thanks so much in advance!

    I'd say that you ought to look at using class and id attributes in your table elements.
    If you have two tables and want seperate color schemes use an id on the <table> element.  Then you can select that table in your CSS quite easily.

    I don't/haven't used tables that much myself so don't feel confident about writing out some sample CSS for you here.  However, it shouldn't be too difficult to work out.  Also, I did a fancy table not long ago to put up a price table in a site.  A quick google on something like style tables CSS will bring up plenty of tutorial type stuff on styling tables that won't be too arduous.

    I use two different languages all the time and words are mostly so different (English and Finnish) that I could have spell checking on for both languages at the same time.
    Now it seem to allow to select only one language at the time and I have to switch back and fort zillion of times per day.

    The Dictionary Switcher doesn't seem to work with Finnish language, it doesn't detect it at all to be one of the choices although in the Firefox context menu Languages -> Finnish/Finland is shown.
    Also, if it would work, I would need to get rid of multiple EN_* langauges. I just need EN_UK or EN_US, not all 22 different EN_*.
    One option would be to create a custom dictionary, which would have words from both languages. The next task is then to find out how to make this kind of custom ENFI-dictionary, which would have words from both English and Finnish languages.
    Finnish may be a some kind of special case for spell checking anyway, because the support is in its separate plugin:

  • Is there a way to use multiple canvas tags with the ToolKit for CreateJS for Flash in one HTML5 doc?

    Hey everyone, I was wondering if someone could help point me in the right direction for solving this. I have created 5 short animations using Flash and when I published each ".fla " (with Toolkit for CreateJS extension) I get 5 different html5 files with their own respective javascripts. Is there a way to get all those canvas tags in one html5 file and still have it work. I'd love a hint on where to begin so I can begin researching the solution.

    Yes, you can use the CR Server product in your Eclipse project.  However, you will need to use the RAS SDK in your project instead of the CR4E SDK.

  • Statistical Internal Orders - How can i charge to multiple cost centers

    In the master data for the statistical internal orders, I am only able to enter one cost center in the 'Actual Posted Cctr' field.  Is there a way to have multiple cost centers and the allocation % for each cost center (similar to the settlement rules on regular internal orders)?

    Hiya,
    OKB9 works by assigning multiple Cost Centres to the Company Code + GL combination. However, I don't believe OKB9 is your solution - for the simple reason that you wish to post the information to multiple CCtrs, along with posting it to this Statistical IO.
    In my opinion, you may have to delete the Actual Cost Centre assignment and, at the time of document posting, assign the True CCtr as well as this IO, or look for a User Exit that will trigger flows to multiple CCtrs along with this IO.
    The other option is to make this a real posting to this IO (change the IO from statistical to real), and then settle this cost to multiple CCtrs. As long as it stays statistical, you don't have the liberty of settling the cost.

    i have perhaps for some of you a simple question but it bothers me alot.
    Imagine we are using Cost centers and Internal Orders. For them we create statistical key figures using transaction KB31N.
    Now we are installing SAP BI and want to create a report which would be generated acording to cost centers but with statistical key figures.
    The question would be how to make a connection between cost centers orders and those stat.key.figs?
    In our case the economists say that we are using this kind of scenario:
    Dist.chanel ->
    Sender: Cost center, Cost element
    Receiver: Int.Order
    and Stat key fig.
    This is the only place where we have a connection between thos objects. Is there other way how to connect them. perhaps using profit centers?
    If somebody didnt understand it, maybe ill try to explain it a bit better

    Cost Element:
    Primary Cost Element : Replication of GL to bring costs into CO module when they are posted in FI 
                                       module
    Secondary Cost Elements: Carriers of costs between two Cost Objects (when we want to transfer the
                                            cost from Cost Centers to Internal Orders, vice versa and more, we create
                                            Secondary Cost Elements to carry the costs and transfer them to the 
                                            reciever objects from sender objects)
    Cost Center: It is a Cost Object, maintained on long-term basis, where we can capture the costs (Ex:
                        Marketing Cost Center)
    Internal Order: It is also a Cost Object, maintained on shor-term basis, where we can capture the costs
                         (Ex: Internal Order for Special Marketing Campaign). Ultimately, whatever the costs
                          posted to this Internal Order, will get settled to Marketing Cost Center.
    Staitistical Key Figure: It is used as a basis for allocation of certain expenses (Simple example would
                                      be, Total rent paid for office is $100000 per month. This cost has to go to
                                      different Cost Centers like Finance and Accounts, Marketing, Purchase Dept
                                      etc on the basis of "Area Occupied". So, We will define "Area Occupied" as a 
                                      Statistical Key Figure in our system.
                                     Now, when the Rent amount is posted in FI, it wil reach a Virtual Cost Center
                                     (An "Allocation Cost Center" with name "Rent" to be created under your
                                     Controlling Area) "Rent". From there, it has to reach the other Cost Centers (lie
                                     F&A etc as explained above) on the basis of Area Occupied (SKF Created
                                     for "area occupied")
    For this, you need enter the Area Occupied values (Ex:Sq Ft) in KB31N and you need to create an Allocation Cycle (Distribution / Assessment) where in you will select "Area Occupied" (SKF) as your Receiver Tracing Factor.

  • Multiple cost centers postings in RE-FX.

    Hello everyone!
    We are currently implementing SAP Flexible Real Estate solution to manage the company's properties. We are facing some problems regarding the distribution of rental costs among multiple costs centers. Our scenario is basically this (example):
    1)In our usage view we have one building with three rental spaces connected to it. Each rental space has different area-measurements and represents different segments in our company (with a specific cost-center associated to it).
    2)The company doesn`t own the building, the structure is rented from a person outside the organization. In this case we`ve created a Commercial lease-in type of contract (external contract, where the company is the user of the object).
    3)This contract contains the three rental spaces mentioned above, and we've configured the contract condition to distribute the rental costs among these objects based on the area measurement.
    4)When we perform transaction RERAPP for this contract to pay the vendor we`ve noticed that even though the costs where divided among the objects, the cost-centers were not updated.
    Considering that the contract doesn't have a cost center field in it and also considering that we have to update multiple cost-centers (with a distribution criteria based on measurements), we would like to know if someone have this kind of problem before?
    We are using an older version of the SAP System(4.7) that doesn't offer as many options as more recent versions (such as 6.0)

    Hi,
    In this case, instead of Cost centres, Real estate Objects will act as the Cost carriers. No need for Cost centres at all.
    Since the Real Estate Objects master data contain Profit centre field, the values posted to Real estate Objects will be automatically carried to the Profit centres as well.
    During Periodic processing of Real Estate Contracts, the system will automatically post to the Transfer and Posting. During transfer posting values will be posted from Real Estate Contract to the Real estate Object.
    You can track costs and revenues through Real Estate Objects directly, No need for Cost centres at all.

    Question about the problem mentioned in subject.
    I have configured that JNLP opens with 1.5 version, both versions are enabled in Java Control Panel Runtime Settings but when I try to start a desktop java console says:
    Java Web Start 1.5.0_22
    Using JRE version 1.6.0_07 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM
    And the opening of the desktop creates an exception:
    Java Web Start - Invalid Argument Error
    TooManyArgumentsException[ Too many arguments supplied: {C:\WINDOWS\Temporary, Internet, Files\Content.IE5\....
    I'm trying to open my desktop with 1.5 version and other programs with 1.6 version. What is it that I still need to do? I'm kind of confused with this. Some of my collagues have succeeded with this and some doesn't, with the same configuration.
    So the question is, how to use multiple JREs with IE8 so that one application uses 1.5 version and others 1.6 version?

    I have 400 cost centers. How to assign G/L Accounts to multiple cost centers, in Define G/L Accounts for Account assignment category and Product category?.
    I guess, By using BADI - BBP_DETERMINE_ACCT. If this is correct, Do we have to develop any ZTABLE for this. Or only BADI enough?.

    Hi,
    Cost Center is related with user. Setting is attributes in PPOMA_BBP.
    G/L account is related with Product category and Account Assignment Category. Setting is in standard customizing table.
    If standard customizing is not enough, you can use BBP_DETERMINE_ACCT BADI.
