How to use switch condition in XMII??

I am not able to find the output path for the match values of switch statement.
Please explain in detail.

I added 3 inputs by using configure button of switch action->results 3 matchvalues.
After that i placed the condition in each MatchValue expression by mapping it to the Repeater output variable on which i written the condition in above expression.
first sqlquery--> xMII xml document --> Repeater --> switch
And i did the calculation after switch by using assignment and row.
but after executing the above transaction in the output trace it is entering into repeater and switch but it is not entering into sequences after switch.
But it is repeating switch based on the number of rows of output by using repeater
Means some problem with switch can u pease clarify it
after adding the condition for each match value i added 3 sequences below that switch and there i had used assignment action to assign the value from repeater which has to be calculated to transaction variable.
then i had used xMII xml row and i am getting the values from transaction and repeater and i am configuring this row to document output which i used above repeater.

Last read head appropriate rate
This includes the corresponding condition
Condition table
- The key sentence of a Main (Table KOBTCI, record 2)
It must be directly on the head set to follow
It contains the key condition of the table
+ Detail fields
- The season record has a subordinate clause (Table KOBTCI, record 3)
The teams relate to the key sentence in the main

How to use "where" condition when we use update or delete in a dbadapter?

Hi
I want to update/delete a record in a database table based on one of its fields. Which means I have to use "where" condition to check the value of the field and only then I can decide whether or not the record can be updated/deleted.
When I try to use the dbadapter update/delete options, I dont see any provision for writing the "where" condition.(May be I am missing something).
I know that I can use the custom sql option and write an sql command to achieve this.
But I would like to know if this can be done when using the update/delete option itself in the dbadapter.

Hi,
You can use the logical delete option. In that case you can supply a value for the column that indicates if a record is changed and have it picked up by the db adapter.

Try using a prepared statement as shown below
PreparedStatement ps = connection.prepareStatement( "select Ncategory from ncategory, whsites where whsites.Name = ? and whsites.Id=ncategory.IdWhsites");

result = ps.executeQuery();
Alternatively you could try the following too :
ResultSet rs1 = stmt1.executeQuery("select Ncategory from ncategory, whsites where whsites.Name = '"+siteName+"' and whsites.Id=ncategory.IdWhsites");

Fault Management Framework - How to use test conditions

I am building a fault policy file based on an external service that generates custom SOAP faults. I want to query a value in these faults but I don't know how to construct the test condition.
I can find plenty of documented examples e.g.

How to Use Switch Statement with Exclusion Group (radio buttons)?

Wouldn't you know, just when I though I'd really be making progress, I've come across another problem I can't solve. In a homeowners insurance application I am building, there is an exclusion group that needs to set the value of several variables
I have setup in the form properties/variables. These variables take on different values depending on the users choice. For the exclusion group, in the object pallet, I have set the binding to normal, and have checked the "Specify Item Values" check box. Also the values for the choices have been assigned 1,2,3,4,5.
Here is my code for the change event fir the exclusion group (This is exactly what I have tried). For now, the values for the variables to take on in the different cases, are completely arbitrary.

There are two issues in this script:
1. You are not using the accessor 'value' to set form variables
2. You are not correctly getting the value of the radio button list in the switch clause

How to use 'IN' condition in a ViewObject with bindvariable

Hi Experts,
I have a simpe VO on which i want to add "in" condition.
It is like this.
select * from emp where empno in (:emplist)
emplist is a bind variable to which i have to pass value at runtime because i will get the value only at runtime.
so when i pass "1,2,3" to emplist bind variable i am not getting any rows in vo but still the table has employees with empno 1, 2, 3.
Can any one tell me where I am doing mistake.

I have check the expression you have provided and there are many incorrect using of this expression, please check and do some modification as below:
For the MonthName function you should follow the grammar like:
=MonthName(10,True)
=MonthName(Month(Fields!BirthDate.Value),False)
="The month of your birthday is " & MonthName(Month(Fields!BirthDate.Value))
You have add the dataset name "DealStarts" at the wrong place, it should like below:
=Last(MonthName(Month(Fields!BirthDate.Value)),"DealStarts")
or
=Last(MonthName(Fields!IntegerValueField.Value),"DealStarts")
This will return the last value from the dataset
There is no function named launchdate, expression "launchdate ("RowofTrendingVisibility")" is incorrect and you shouldn't add the datasetname in this way.
If the expression involved of conditions from two different datasets, limit kinds of functions will support to use:
=Last(Fields!BirthDate.Value,"DataSetName")
=First(Fields!BirthDate.Value,"DataSetName")
