How to use the procedure column in reports

Hi all
How to call the procedure in reports as source.. If possible how to use columns of procedure in the layout column of report????

Your query is not clear.
1. In subject are you asking total column.
A. Edit pivot view and go to Rows and click Total BY option here you can find option like (none,before,after) the you can select after it will display total all culms.
2. I want use the columnC in columnD ? -- Am not understand.
A. What my understand is you want to see the report only C and D values only.
If it is correct we can apply filter in report level click column filed and apply not equal to A then it will show only C and D only.
If it is wrong pleas post me correct one with example. Will try to help out this.

    We never saw your procedure, but maybe you could wrap it in a function

  • How to use the same column value in the casecadeing parameter in ssrs report?

    I have a table site contains one filed SiteCode
    Now i have fields like below using the below quries 
    SThe above are the two results sets coming from the single table ,now i will use these two results /Query in my ssrs Casecade report
    1.First result set/Query will use for the first dataset and use these values in the paramet1 selection as PrimaryCodes
    2.Second result set/Query will use for the second Dataset and use these values in the parameter2 as SecondayCodes
    3.Using these two datsets and create a Casecadeing paramet in ssrs report.
    4.so using this information how can i create the Casecade report ,I have tried different ways but i didnt get the soluction
    I have done the follw but ididnt get the o/p.
    I have created two parameter and mapped to the results but while paramter selection i will able to see only the first paramet(PrimaryCodes) ,and i will not see the second paramter(SecondaryCodes) it could not show me the second paramter values in the drop
    down list.
    Note:Here i will use the Single Table to get the all the sitecodes 
    Can some one please help me out for this report.

    Hi Amol,
    Are you able to execute your stored procedure from oracle?.
    - If "Yes" then use  the Crystal Report XIR2 Designer to create the report.
    - Import this report in the Crystal Report For Eclipse Workbench.
    - The latest version for Crystal Report For Eclipse is SP1.
    Please let me know the results.

  • How to use the input entered in report parameters form & use it in a field in a report parameter.

    Hi, I'am creating a new report, which is a combination of 'form_letter & tabular' style.
    I have also created a Report Parameter with 2 inputs, that is 'to_date' & 'from_date'.
    The value that will be entered in 'to_date' & 'from_date' in the parameter_form, must get displayed in the report.
    So for this, I created a field for 'to_date' & added code for it in pl/sql editor.
    code is as below:

(The above code works only if "PF_P_TO_DATE" was a part of query statement, that is one of the columns in database, but PF_P_TO_DATE is a parameter). So can anybody please help me with how can I take the value from parameter input & display it on the field of the report?

    Create a formula column and return the date you need and asign the formula column to a field in paper layout.
    here is the example query

    i have created a win32 dll, and now i want to use that dll in my crystal report how can i do so?, what i tried is i went to to Addntional functions catagory in formula workshop, and there i can see some dlls listed, similary i put my dll in the same path like "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions\1.0\Bin" and other folder too. but i am not able to see that dll in "Addtional functions". can you plesase tell how can i achive this.

  • How to use the SCOM 2012 Web Reporting page

    Hello all-
       We are on SCOM 2012 SP1.  I just have a general question about reporting.  I know there is a "Reporting" tab in the real, locally installed, SCOM Operations Console software.  That part I get.  I see that there
    are many pre-made reports the for me to run.  For example under Microsoft Server 2008 Operating System (Monitoring) folder there is a
    Performance History report.  When I double click on it, it takes me to the report window where I can click
    Add Object and add a server and then click
    Run.  
    This is pretty simple in concept.   BUT very few people at my company have the full Operations Console installed on their machine.  And as I'm sure you know, the SCOM Web Console does not have a Reporting Tab.  So they have to use the
    SCOM Reporting website to run such reports.  I found that you can get to this page at the url:
    http://<reporting server>/Reports                       
    This does bring up the Reporting console.  On the list I do see a Report.Windows.Server.2008.PerformanceHistory listed. So this surely seems to be the equivalent from my screenshot above.   However, it's not even close to user friendly like
    the Reporting area in the SCOM operations console software. There's multiple fields at the top. All of which are required, and almost none of which have dropbox or other ways to help you fill them in. I have no idea what to put into these boxes or the format
    to use.
    What am I missing here?  Is there a more user friendly interface anywhere?  In an ideal world, I'd really love to have a user interface where I can post the links to a few popular reports, like CPU and Disk Space for example.  Then ideally
    all the user would have to do is select their servers and the time frame and that's all.   Which really is what you do in the Operations Console software.   So isn't is it that easy in the web reporting tool?  Is there a guide or how-to
    section somewhere I'm missing?  Or just a more friendly looking way to get at this information?

    Well, my first screen shot above is squished, so you really can't see it.  But what I'm saying is that the same report in the SCOM software has the level of configuration I want on it.   It allows you to pick the date range and add objects
    to it, then you can click on Run.     However when I access the same report on the reporting console, it has all these extra fields.  None of which I know how to fill in properly.
    I would ultimately like my customers to be able to do exactly that in the web version.  Pick their server and their date range and run it.   There are not likely going to be too many reports like you're mentioning which I can completely configure
    before hand, so they just click on the link to have it run.  Most times I'd like my users to at least be able to select a server name.
    Any idea how I would simplify the web version of the report?  Or why they look so very different?

  • How to use the data from 1 report in another report?

    I have a data model like the following:
    Physical and logical join the same as below:
    Dim1 <--- Fact 1 ---> Dim2 <-- Fact 2 --> Dim3
    Now I have 1 report (Report A) which is out of Dim1 <--- Fact 1 ---> Dim2
    and another report (Report B) which is out of Dim2 <-- Fact 2 --> Dim3
    Now the measure from report A needs to be divided by the measure from Report B.
    What's the best way to achieve this?

    Thank you for the reply. Actually, this approach you mentioned may not work. I forgot to mention, that although the data model was simple, but for each report, the filtering conditions were quite complicated.
    So in other words, after all of the complex filtering, aggregation, I was finally able to get the correct number from report 1, which is summed and displayed, and it's only 1 row. Report 2's values are summed the filtered differently, but it returns multiple values.
    So now, I wish I can just take what I can visually see from report 1 in the dashboard and divide it with each row of report 2 in the dashboard. Is there a way to do this kind of thing in 11G?

  • How to use the 3of9 font in report in concurrent program

    Dear All,
    I have developed a report in 6i, and selected the font 3of9.ttf in Report Builder, which is a Barcode type font. but when i register the report as concurrent program and run the report concurrent program it is not showing me the field value in barcode format.
    Then i tried to ftp the font to unix server at location "$OA_JRE_TOP/jre/lib/fonts/3of9000.ttf" also created the xdo.cfg file at "$OA_JRE_TOP/lib" folder.
    But still i am not getting the expected result.
    Can anyone help me out to resolve this issue?

    You can't just copy a Windows font to Unix. You need specific Unix installation steps. That I know, for the rest I am unfamiliar with Unix fonts.

  • How to use the prompt value in the report column

    I have a report prompt column which is 'Adj Type' which holds values 10,20,30 and when user selects Adj Type = 10 then this value should be passed to report column.
    For Eg. Column 1 value is 10 and this should multiple with prompt value and the output should be 10* 10.
    Any thoughts how to capture the prompt values in report column for calculation.

    1) Declare a presentation variable in prompt under the Set Variable section -->Presentation Variable -->P_var
    2) In Fx Table_name.Your_column * @{P_Var}
    @{P_var}{20} ( 20 is default value it will override when a user selects value in prompt

    Here you go..
    1) Go to table RSZCALC and get list of ELTUID where AGGREXC is not INITIAL and AGGRCHA is not initial; now you get only exception aggregation set based on some chars. Also you can further add STEPNR = 1 since your intention is just to get query name , not the calculation details; this will reduce number of entries to lookup and save DB time for next steps.
    Here you will get list of exception aggregation UUID numbers from which you can get properties from RSZELTDIR.
    2) Pass list of RSZCALC-ELTUID to table RSZELTXREF - TELTUID and get list of RSZELTXREF -SELTUID - this table stores query to it's elements maping kind.
    3) Now again pass RSZELTXREF - SELTUID into same table but into different field RSZELTZREF - TELTUID and get RSZELTXREF - SELTUID
    This step you get query reference sheet or column or query general UUID for next step.
    4) Pass list of RSZELTXREF - SELTUID into RSZELTDIR - ELTUID with DEFTP as 'REP'. Now you get list of query names in RSZELTDIR - MAPNAME and description in TXTLG.
    Note: you can also get the reference chars used for exception aggregation from RSZCALC - AGGRCHA field.

    which variable should i use?
    2) Where can i find more information about the characteristic and which variable to be use base on the characteristic?
    For example: I would like to display the fiscal year from the selection screen/input screen when execute the report which also will reflected to the element definition and will display the fiscal year also in the column text?

    4) When execute the report the first selection screen input parameter it obtain from where it is from element definition?

    In OBIEE 11.1.1.6.0,how to expand the hierarchy column automatically when delivery reports by agent?
    For example:
    In SampleLite RPD, when we drag "Time Hierarchy" and Sales column into the report , and sent it by agent ,it will only display "Total" sales, not show all level value,such as Year,Month,Day.So how to expand the hierarchy column automatically when delivery reports by agent?
    If we expand all levels and save them, it will be ok, however, when we add new data, it will be collpased automatically and not show the lowest level data, requiring Users or Developer to modify this report for expanding the hierarchy. We think it is very trouble, is there any good suggestion or method for achieving our requirement?

    Hi
    You can create an SQL command in Database Expert > Expand your datasource > Add command
    Then enter the SQL query that will create the list of values to supply to the user
    eg select field1,field2 from table
    Then edit the parameter of the report.  These will be the SP parameters adn can be seen in field explorer.
    Change the parameter type to Dynamic
    Under the word Value click on Click here to add item
    Scroll down to your Command and select one of the values that you want to appear in the list
    e.g field1
    Then click on the Parameters field - this is essential to create the param
    You can edit other options as required
    That should do it for you.
    I must say that i use CR 2008 connected to Oracle 10g SP, but i reckon this will work for SQL DB and CR XI as well
