How to use @XRANGE to get 12 week sales average across with scenario/time?

Currently in our Measures dimension we have things such as4-week sales average, and 12-week sales average. Each fiscalyear these need to get updated and we end up having a lot offorumla code like this: ... ELSEIF (@ISMBR(P01W1) AND @ISMBR(Act2000)) @AVG (SKIPMISSING, "T.Sales", "T.Sales"->P13W4->Act1999, "T.Sales"->P13W3->Act1999, "T.Sales"->P13W2->Act1999, ... For every single year... basically it's a kludge in order to getthe 12 week sales average if there have been less than 12 weeks inthe fiscal year. I was thinking that surely there has to be abetter way than this, possibly using @XRANGE, but I can't think ofa way to do it without it being just as complex and tedious as italready is. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Try something like this (I haven't tested it, OK?): The following formula computes a 12-week trailing sum of "T.Sales" for all weeks between Jan of 1999 and Dec of 2000. For trailing weeks (in this case those that are before the start of the range), the TRAILSUM argument simply adds those that are present (So for P1W2 of 1999, it will just add P1W1 and P1W2 because there's nowhere further back to go). @MOVSUMX(TRAILSUM, "T.Sales", 12, @XRANGE(P1W1->Act1999, P13W4->Act2000)); The XRANGE function will return the following: P1W1->Act1999 P1W2->Act1999 P1W3->Act1999 . (99 more iterations omitted) . P13W3->Act2000 P13W4->Act2000 Beware this formula. When used across a large sparse dimension you may have to increase the size of the calculator cache and performance can be quite poor.

Most of us in this forum are users who volunteer on technical issues, and not Adobe employees although they do drop in from time to time. As users we simply have no control over activation and that's why you are not getting responses.
If you havn't done so,you might try the Muse forums and see if you can get a staff member to look into it. Have your case numbers and phone transcripts handy.
Last option is to keep calling customer service until you get someone who will help or ask for a supervisor.

I'm developing the application to stream High Quality video.While streming by default camera/microphone settings the qulaity of streaming is not upto my expected level.I want to stream through Flash Media Encoder.My aim is the user login to the application.Video/audio qulaity details are retrived from shared object stored in the client machine.The login user name only gathered at run time & it will be the streaming profile name to Encoder.Once the the Encoder started the outgoing video will be come into screen to client.Please guide me How to start Flash Media Encoder 3.2 from Flex application with run time parameters(User name as streaming name) without manually start the FME?

I have one base Base classes which have protected fields and public get method to get the field.

Now I have an instance of Derive, how can I use reflection to get the protected field inherited from Base. It seems Java Reflection only give runtime accessibility to public field and decleared field, protected-inherited field is excluded.

How to use the function STRIP SILENCE on many regions at the same time?

Hi,
I am doing a projet with a lot (more thant 100) of audio regions, and I would like to use the function STRIP SILENCE on many regions at the same time (with the same parameters).
Here is what happens :
1- I select many regions (10 or so)
2- I choose the function STRIP SILENCE in the AUDIO menu
3- the window for stripping silence opens, and it tells me in it that there are 10 regions selected (if I selected 10)
4- I put my parameters, then I click OK
5- Only the first regions is done! all other regions are untouched.
So... it this a bug or a feature? What am I doing wrong? Is it really working on multiple regions at the same time? If not, how could I do that besides doing the same operations 100 times!
Could that be on the Intel bug that I see quite often ("it works on old Mac but not on Intel Mac")?

I think the message you get saying that 10 regions have been selected is not so much a bug as an oversight ---- someone didn't check to correlate the message with the actual functionality of strip silence (i.e., will only work on one region at a time).
So the message is misleading.
I find that it's best to set up a key command to perform the strip silence function. Makes the process go faster than having to mouse around. And I rarely find that the strip silence settings for one region work well on another, so I don't mind the fact that it only works to strip one region at a time.
Sure, it would be cool if it performed the operation on multiple regions, but by using the same set of s/silence parameters for all regions there's always the chance that you might accidentally crop a region in the wrong way, meaning more time spent editing the beginning/end of those regions.

You have to pass Header and GM code as the INput parameters for uing this BAPI....GM code would be structure.
Also you have to pass the INternal table Item for the goods mvt cxreate which will contains
      BATCH.
      MOVE_TYPE.
      ENTRY_QNT.
      MOVE_PLANT.
      MOVE_STLOC.
      MOVE_BATCH.
      MOVE_REAS
these parameters.

How to use Crossbow Xmesh WSN LabVIEW drivers for downstream communication with motes

I am trying to use LabVIEW Crossbow Xmesh WSN driver for downstreaming commands but driver programs are not working.
I am interested in changing node (Iris mote with MDA300 board) update rate from LabVIEW program running on host PC .
I have used Set node update rate.vi with open stream.vi and start stream.vi in proper sequence and developed a program to change node update rate. When program is run no error is shown but node update rate is not changed.
Pl suggest what I should I do.
What is the function of WSN write VIs (WSN write Raw 1sensor1point). For what type of message this is used.
I want to actuate relay on MDA300 with mote id 2. What VIs (from driver ) I have to use and how to issue command related to it.

I am sending you snap shot of VI developed to change node update rate.and also the heirarchy of drivers VIs used in the program for better understanding .
In case you can figure out why the command message send is unable to communicate with mote .
Also for downstream communication with motes the packet format used is described in Moteworks user manual from MiMSic.com
I think the developer of these drivers can help you out in solving my problem.

How to use a GPIB card's LabView drivers to communicate with the card?

I have an axiomtek AX4810P PCI-GPIB card and i have aquired LabView drivers from the manufacturer.
This has put VI's for the GPIB functions on the 'user palette' but i can't work out how to use them to communicate with the card. can anyone help? please.

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.
Unfortunately, since you are not using a National Instruments GPIB card, I do not have access to the drivers that were provided to you by your card's manufacturer. I would suggest contacting Axiomtek directly to obtain support using their drivers.
However, I did write a small VI that demonstrates how to use similar National Instruments drivers with a National Instruments GPIB card. Keep in mind, this example VI is not intended to work with your particular card. The drivers you obtained from Axiomtek may have similar functions, however, and you can use my VI as a guide. My VI allows you to send a command to an instrument at address 2 on the GPIB card.

How to Copy Cost Estimate from Quotation to Sales Order in MTO Scenario

We are working on a MTO scenario- Sales order Costing with Valuated Stock.
And our case we are creating the Cost Estimate at the time of Quotation using PP qty structure. Now we wan to transfer the cost estimate to Sales Order as we don't want to recost the sales order.
Currenty it's transferring only the EK01 condition as total planned costs in Sales order but we want to see the itemization also.
Please suggest is there any way to transfer this cost estimate with itemization from Quotation to Sales Order.

As far as I know the CO esimate does not get copied from Quotation to Sales Order
You need to recost the SO again.. If your Qty Structure has not changed between Quotation to SO and your valuation variant is also the same - it would give the same result
