How to view all user_source on others servers from one admin server?

Hello. Thank you for helping.
I am not able to view the source for other schemas locally or on remote servers, depending on the user logged, only for that schema, or something like that.
I use this command to view the source of a procedure:
select line, text
from user_source
where type='PROCEDURE'
and name='MY_PROC1'
order by line;
or this:
...from sys.user_source...
or this:
...from sys.user_source@dblink1...
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Okay, the DDL method is not going to work. Let me go back to my original question:
I use this command to view the source of a procedure, but I still cannot select source from a remote server across a dblink. How do I specify the remote schema with the user_source?
select line, text
from user_source
where type='PROCEDURE'
and name='MY_PROC1'
order by line;
or this:
...from sys.user_source...
or this:
...from sys.user_source@dblink1...
To APC: Regarding your comments about reading the docs, understanding privileges, decent source control and configuration management, etc., I would like to offer a few arguments which I think invalidates these (your entrenched) assumptions about proper Oracle development and the use of forums. • How to view all tables and column names from a remote database

    Hey Guys,
    I have a database in a remote server. I have the db link and the schema name.. Now i want to view all the tables in the remote database with column names.. I dont have access to that database using sql developer.. But i can view some tables using the db link..Is there any way i can view all the tables with the column names?

    Dont think i have DBA access..It gives the following error
    ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
    00942. 00000 - "table or view does not exist"You don't have to have 'dba' access, per se. You just have to have SELECT ALL TABLES privilege. when you use a db_link, you are connecting to the remote db with the user defined in the link, and .. on that db .. you will have the privileges of the user defined in the db link. Exactly as if you had used sqlplus to connect to that db with that user.

  • How to view ALL batch job details (SM37) at one glance ?

    Dear all,
    I am documenting all released batch job details, the information required includes the job name, client number, job frequency .. etc.
    In order to see that information, i go to SM37 and click on each job to see the details. I have about 60 jobs released, to get their details i have to click on them at least 60 times.
    Is there a report or table that i can refer to that provides me the information of all the jobs in one screen ?
    Thanks.

  • How to move phones from one CUCM server to another?

    How easy is it to migrate IP phones from one CUCM server to another?
    The situation is this:
    A vessel currently sitting in dry dock has 14 IP phones onboard which currently register with a CUCM server half way round the world (literally). As you can imagine there is quite a fair amount of delay for the signal processing, not to mention the connectivity being over a VSAT link. This being a temporary solution.
    A CUCM server has been configured and installed on the vessel with all the relevant partitions, route patterns, trunks etc. The phones have also been added to the new server ready for migration. The only real thing that will be different when the phones are migrated is the Directory Number on each phone. Both CUCM servers are running software version 7.1.3
    The phones currently pick up their local IP addresses via a local DHCP server which assigns 150 TFTP Server IP Address for the remote CUCM server. Is changing the the TFTP Server IP address to the local CUCM server enough to have the phones register with the local server.
    This is not something I've tried before so would appreciate feedback or any comments that may indicate anything I missed along the way.
    Thanks,
    Ric

    Hi Ricardo,
    On the DHCP scope created for the voice vlan change the Option 150(TFTP Server IP address) to the new CUCM and remove/delete the remote CUCM IP address just to ensure that phones once after registering to the new CUCM will not fetch any config from the remote CUCM as the DN's of the phones are changed on the new CUCM please ensure this.
    Apart from this i dont see any challenges as the firmware of the IP Phones will also remain same as CUCM version is same.
    Hope that helps.
    Regards
    Najaf

  • How to view ALL my files in my iPad?

    Hello,
    How to view all my files in my iPad because the "others" in my iPad is taking a lot of space.
    Thanks

    If you just want a listing, you can do this:
    select owner, object_type, object_name
    from   dba_objects
    where  object_type in ('VIEW','TRIGGER','PROCEDURE');(you don't want to see functions or packages?)
    If you want to see the code for these types, an easy way is to use the package dbms_metadata to display them:
    SQL> select dbms_metadata.get_ddl('TRIGGER','ORDERS_TRG','OE') from dual;
    DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL('TRIGGER','ORDERS_TRG','OE')
      CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER "OE"."ORDERS_TRG" INSTEAD OF INSERT
    ON oc_orders FOR EACH ROW
    BEGIN
       INSERT INTO ORDERS (order_id, order_mode, order_total,
                           sales_rep_id, order_status)
                   VALUES (:NEW.order_id, :NEW.order_mode,
                           :NEW.order_total, :NEW.sales_rep_id,
                           :NEW.order_status);
    END;
    ALTER TRIGGER "OE"."ORDERS_TRG" ENABLE

  • How to export ALL my contact groups ( 20) from Outlook 2010 on one machine to Outlook 2010 on two other machines

     My problem is how to export ALL my contact groups (>20) from Outlook 2010 on one machine (finally established with great pains from a more user-friendly client) to Outlook 2010 on two other computers.  All the help files I've seen refer to
    export/import of only a single Group.
     Outlook seems to be an extraordinarily limited and user-hostile environment for managing an address book.  By way of comparison, the Mulberry client I've been using for years (which is no longer supported) run circles around Outlook for ease of
    handling -- everything in the address book, groups and individual, can be exported and imported in a single file.  My computer support staff have warned me about the difficulties of handling groups in Outlook.  Is Microsoft really that incompetent,
    or just sadistic ?
    Thanks for your help with this.

    After a lot of screwing around I finally hit on a solution, which is to export and import contacts using a .pst file (which transfers both individuals and groups) rather than a .csv file -- which transfers only individual contacts but leaves groups untouched.
    Why isn't there a clear and simple message from Microsoft saying this in all the so-called Help files on moving contacts in Outlook?
