How to view only specific authentication requests in access tracker

Requirement:
How to view only "Healthy/Unhealthy" requests from a specific Webauth service.
Solution:
If we have more than one Webauth service (based on conditions such as Device type or NAS IP or posture status etc) and we need only Healthy/Unhealthy requests from a specific service in access tracker for administrative use; we need to create a custom Data filter.
Configuration:
Below are the steps to achieve the same:
Navigate to Monitoring > Data filters > Click on "Add" option to create a new filter
Specify a name on the "Filter" tab
Select the "Rule" tab to specify the unique condition (to filter the access tracker request)
Create the below conditions:
( Commonystem-Posture-Token CONTAINS Healthy )
- AND - ( Commonervice CONTAINS Windows-health-check )
5. Save this filter
Now we can use this Data filter in access tracker to only view Healthy Webauth requests from "Windows-health-check" service.
Verification
So now we can verify the output by looking at the access tracker.
At present we can see "Eight" webauth requests in access tracker. Now we want to see only Healthy web-auth request from "Windows-health-check" service.
We change the data filter to the Custom "healthy-filter" and now only see one request in access tracker as per our requirement.

I have not yet purchased adobe photo software. Which version is the simplest to accomplish what I want to do and is it simple? Or do I even need photo software. I have digitized my 50 years of slides. They are in large folders on the computer. Each folder is labelled only with a time period. Each image was corrected via MS Photo Gallery and then tagged or labelled with who or what, where and when.
How can I best send them out to the children to view on their computers but with a way for them to select and view only the ones they are interested in out of the thousands. Certainly, Lightroom or Photoshop Elements will do this. As far as I know, the freeware Picasa should be able to do this as well. If you are not very computer literate, you probably would want to start with Picasa.
If your needs are no more complicated than described above, you could also use your operating system to search for keywords. Of course, if you need other features from photo software, then your operating system isn't sufficient.

I am doubtful that anyone is going to share rating templates, because that is generally regarded as intellectual property of the companies that own the rating books. You may consider attending Oracle University which has several classes that will have you build a rating program from the ground up.

Is it possible for ACS 5.1 to only allow specific AD users to authenticate the switches and routers?

Hi Ryan,
The way to control Active Directory access is via the Directory Groups tab under
Users and Identity Stores --> External Identity Stores --> Active Directory.
The way to permit TACACS+ mgmt access to your infrastructure devices is as follows:
1. Make your network admins part of a specific AD group
2. Add that AD group to the list of Directory Groups
3. In the Access Policy, click the Customize button as Mauricio suggested, and add "AD1:External Groups" to the selected critieria
4. In the policy rule, you will now be able to select your specific AD group to match against.
Additionally, you may want to verify that the identity selection is set to only check AD for the authentication portion, by default I think (if I'm not mistaken) the identity check should be AD1 (Active Directory only), but it's best to confirm that part as well.

How to view area-specific projects in merged Help?

While I have been successful in getting RH Server to merge the projects shown below:

... I can't seem to access one of the individual projects, such as Minerva API HTML Documentation.
The HR Server docs say:
You can access area-specific projects using the following URL:
http://<server-name>/robohelp/server?prj=<project-name>&area=<area-name>
What I think this means is that I should be able to browse to Minerva API HTML Documentation like this:
http://localhost:8080/robohelp/server?prj="Minerva API HTML Documentation"&area=general
However, when I try this, the merged project opens up (as though I were browsing to the first red URL above).
Please advise as to what I might be doing wrong.

In SE10 transaction you can see the transports, and the customizing entries within it.
Customizing entries are only tables and table entries, there is no hierarchical relationship between them.
You might know, that "this entrie is a must to create that entry", but SAP doesn't know this, it knows only tables and table entries.
The "hierarchy" is checked in those SAP standard transactions, where the customizing entries are used.
So if you wanted to write such thing, you have to write them for each customizing entries. That would be a huge work...
I think it's better for you to use the SE10 transaction.

How to view only artists on iTunes

Without using view options, I would like to be able to browse my iTunes library by only looking at Artists (and nothing else). And then double click an artist in order to view all relevant material.
Basically, I would like to browse my iTunes library on a computer how one would browse an ipod.

How about selecting Grid mode, and then hitting the Artists tab within that? Close enough?
Let's say I have 20+ albums by Bob Dylan and 10+ albums by Bob Marley. It's going to take a lot of scrolling to make it just past those two artists - you know what I mean?

I would like to enter app-specific password on my 2nd Mac, but I don't have a way to view the app-specific password generated earlier.
I know I could generate another app-specific password for the same app. But it doesn't make sense if i couldn't view previously generated app-specific password.

If it was saved automatically in your keychain, YOU (who knows your login password = your keychain password) can retrieve passwords stored there.
Open the keychain Utility, select passwords as the things to examine, and scroll through the list until you see the one you want. GetInfo in it, and it will put up a dialog box. Check "show password" and it will likely demand your login password again, then show you the stored password.
Keychain is very secure. If you forget your login password, or change your login password and fail to also update your keychain password to match, your keychain and everything on it will be dead to you (and everyone else).

How to view only Inbox emails, Tour w/ enterprise

hi all, new to BB here,
i have a Tour, syncing via enterprise (outlook exchange), and BB is showing all my saved email folders, which is awesome. but, in initial email view, i see all messages, both inbox and from saved email folders.
i can *manually* go to 'view folders', select inbox, and see only those emails. but, i'd have to do that everytime i go to look at my email, can't seem to find a way of making that the default view. it's driving me a little nuts. i use my inbox to store unanswered/to-do emails, everything else i save. so i'm seeing messages that i think i already responded to and filed, but have to check which folder that message is stored in, in order to make sure...
any help?

How to download only specific photos from my camera?

I'm in the habit of not deleting the photo images from my camera's CF card frequently. The problem with using iPhoto is that that it appears to only allow me to download ALL or NOTHING of the photos on my camera. I would like to selectively download specific photos from my camera with iPhoto. Is this possible?

Hello.
There is also a way to selectively upload directly to iPhoto. If your camera mounts on the desktop as an external drive, simply ignore iPhoto's initial uploading screen. [Click back on Library in the Source Pane if this screen distracts you.] Choose File> Import to Library. A window will open where you can navigate to your camera, preview the images, and select only the ones you wish to upload. As in the Finder, Shift-click will select a contiguous range, and Command-click selects multiple, nonconsecutive items.
If your camera does not mount on the desktop (most Canons do not) then you can use a card reader. Place the card in the reader, connect to the Mac via USB, and use the above method to upload from the card. This is my preferred method, since it saves on the camera's batteries.

How do view ONLY the selected clip?

Is the sequence marker the ONLy way to view a selected clip(s) -- along with the Play-In to Out button?
Often times, I just want to view just one clip in the timeline after I've added effects. If I don't set a sequence marker, PPro plays the entire sequence in the entire timeline of the project, which is more than what I want to view.
Is there any other way, other than setting sequence markers, to view JUST the selected clip(s)?
I thought that, intuitively, selecting a clip (or group of clips) with my pointer would by default playback ONLY the selected clip(s). But I guess not.

I used the work area bar and it did nothing. I played the clip(s) under the work area bar, but it continued playing beyond the bar. Also, when I hit Play again, it started from the beginning of the timeline, not the beginning of the clip under the bar. So, the work area bar seems to only have use when you want to preview something by rendering the tracks under the bar. Otherwise, nothing special. The work area bar is useless to me, unless someone shows me the light.

How to resize only specific text in PDF?

In the text above, how would I go about enlarging/resizing the text in arabic so that the text resizing doesn't affect the rest of the paragraph?
When I select "edit text & images", the entire paragraph is one box, and when I enlarge the font of the arabic word, the whole paragraph gets affected in that a bigger spacing appears between both lines of text.
So, how do I rezise that specific word on its own?

Hi, I did think of that, but it'd take me an awfully long time to go through the 200 page document in this fashion because I would need to cut that word, paste it into the new text field, then create space in the original paragraph to insert the arabic word.
Isn't there a way of perhaps selecting that word as an image by converting it or something and then resizing it?

How to view only emails with attachments on iPhone

I used to be able to go into mail and I could tap on "attachments" and it would show me ONLY emails that have attachments. I recently swapped my iphone for a new one of the same model and everything, but I don't see the attachments section anymore. Any ideas? I could not find anything about this in the settings either.

You will need to empty also trash to be sure. The email and the attachment will not be on iPod but may be a copy will still be on a server of your provider according to the system he uses (IMAP or POP3) and according to the preferences you have set on the mail programs (leave message on the server... delete it after a date or after deleting it from inbox or... there are many possibility).
If the mail message is still on a server teoretically you can download it again from the iPod or even another computer.. of course knowing your account settings and password.
What is not clear in your message: you mention 3 devices: sent thge mail from your cell (1) to your iPod (2) and/or to your friend (3).
Added later: you will also need to check the SentMessage Folder because a copy of the mail could also be there if you sett to keep a copy there.

but i only need numbers, some special symbols and only the letter x which will be the variable you can enter here, otherwise a message should be displayed that i entered an invalid character or symbol. and is it also possible to check that there is a space before and after a + or - sing?

How can I only allow my Apple TVs access to my LAN?

In my set-up, I have three Apple TVs in separate rooms all connected to a LAN via their ethernet ports. They are connected via a switch to my Airport Extreme and my Mac Mini is also connected to Airport as an iTunes server. The Airport runs a WiFi network for internet access but I don't want people to be able to plug their computers into my LAN and have access to the whole set-up.
What can I do to achieve this?
I don't want the Apple TV's to rely on the WiFi so I can use MAC Address Filtering, since it is patchy and streaming HD videos is more stable via ethernet. I have looked into setting-up an 802.1x network but when investigating the Configurator app to set-up the Apple TVs to access an 802.1x network it refers only to WiFi set-ups again. Also, I don't know much about RAIDUS servers and authentication, such as whether I'd need any additional hardware etc.
Any help would be gratefully received.

...any app launched from /Applications holds only the permissions of the user launching the app, regardless of the owner (presumably because anyone, including "root" can install applications into /Applications).
It has nothing to do with where the application is installed. Any executable runs with the permissions of the user who runs it. The only exception is a binary executable with the SUID or SGID bit set, and then only if it's on the root device, and only if it's not an Aqua application. The SG/UID bits are ignored otherwise.
So, anyone who has installed Wireshark from the "native .dmg" by drag-and-dropping won't be able to use the suid trick because the OS will ignore the suid permissions.
Sorry, I don't understand this at all. Wireshark invokes dumpcap as a child process to capture packets. If dumpcap is installed anywhere on the root device as SUID root, then it will run as root regardless of who invokes it.
The suid method will only work for Macports and Fink installations...
That's not correct. There are many SUID or SGID executables in a default installation of the Mac OS, and none of them comes from MacPorts or Fink.
