Hi Friends,
I'm doing weekly report. my infocube, data coming from three sources, two sources are ODS. In ODS doesn't have 0calweek only have 0calmonth. When i see my report i can't view those ODS data in the report.
So i want write a formula. How do i write a formula for this.Pls give me the formula.

I am trying to write a formula to adjust the size of a text box. I see that it has the typical X-2 box to create a formula but everything I have tried has failed.
I am using a datediff to return hours between two datetime fields. ie. datediff("h", start_datetime, end_datetime).
I figured the number returned is what it would set the width to. I would then more than likely mulitply by .1 to get a smaller value but cannot get the first part to work.

what you are doing should work out but you probably aren't evaluating it to a valueso after you have clicked on the x-2 box next to the font size you'd do something likeif datediff("h", start_datetime, end_datetime) = 1 then 12 else 10which would set the font size to 12 if the value equals 1 else it would be 10 for all other cases

I wish I could, but there is no single sign on module available for Fusion, also, so called Fusion is yet another Word With Big Letters, behind it there is yet another OC4J ( now Oracle switched to Weblogic though) container with bunsh of Oracle apps residing in it.
Generally speaking, neither Fusion nor Oracle Apps user database does not have any single authentication module available out of the box to integrate user database.
It's a long sad story running straight from Oracle Apps 11.0.5.
That's why I've created JAAS single sign on login module and used it ever since at OC4J 10.2 and onwards at OC4J 10.3
Back to the topic: to develop Apps and test them externally using the session bean I've isted above, one need to copy certain libraries from Oracle Apps server, then add them as libraries for JDeveloper project.

You need to write a driver program. You need to use open form, then write_form to write data into various windows and then close_form to close.
As you don't want main window in the first page first try out just by having the window in the second page; i guess system will take care of it. As all other windows filled and if u start writing data in the main it'll go for next page.
If doesn't work have the window on the first page with the least hight and write a command
IF &SYST-PAGE& EQ 1
    NEXT-PAGE.
ENDIF.
Then in the second page you can have the main window hight as per your requirement.
Here is an example
(1) Get customer data
TABLES: scustom, sbook, spfli.
DATA: bookings like sbook...
select * from...
(2) Open form
CALL FUNCTION 'OPEN_FORM'

How to prevent iTunes for Windows from "Updating iTunes Library"?
My library is on a NAS and managed by iTunes on a Mac. I can connect from wife's Windows laptop using iTunes for Windows but every time I do, it Updates iTunes Library. Next time I log in from my Mac it Updates iTunes Library in return. It appears I'm experiencing "Update Wars" between the Mac and Windows versions of iTunes. I would like to allow my wife to stream iTunes songs to her new laptop but I don't want any updates from this source... prefer to manage the library from my Mac and not allow Windows to do any thing other than listen to existing playlists.

Connect the PC to the library on the NAS. Wait while "updated".
Under Edit > Preferences > Advanced make sure the media folder is correctly pointed at the media folder on the NAS. If not correct, close iTunes, wait a few moments, then open iTunes again.
Close iTunes on the PC. Do not open iTunes on the Mac.
Copy the library files, iTunes Library.itl, iTunes Library Extras.itdb, iTunes Library Genius.itdb, sentinel and the folder Album Artwork into an empty iTunes folder on the PC, for example C:\iTunes.
Click the icon to start iTunes and immediately press and hold down SHIFT. Keep holding until prompted to choose or create a library. Click choose and browse to the copied .itl file, e.g. C:\iTunes\iTunes Library.itl
The library should now work properly on the PC, however check the setting for the media folder. If needs be correct, close iTunes and reopen.
Open iTunes on the Mac. It will update again, but that should be last time.

If we enter into the maintaining Screen, the lines in the Screen will dynamically changing depending on the values.
When I am doing recording , If I press page down after entering values in top lines, the lines are changing and the records are not updating Correctly.
I need to write BDC to Create Change.
Can any one please help me in this regard?

i've created formula using MC1D and assigned to update rules but it didnt stop if i put break-point in that routine. I even executed generation program (RV80HGEN).
Do i need to execute any other generation program or is there any thing else do i need to take care.

You need to expand on your question.
But the basic concept is you create or connect (for LDAP) users in Shared Services. You also create groups as required for these users. Then in shared services you provision those user to Planning applications (directly or indirectly through groups)
Then in Planning you will see users or groups. And in planning you connect them to either members in dimensions or to objects like Forms, Task lists, Business Rules.
There is therefore no such thing as synching Shared Services with Planning.
Note: the 2 steps mentioned above can be done in batch through load utilities.
