How would I be able to pull up all of the text messages tat were in my phone over the course of 2 years and back them up to my computer since my phone has a broken screen and can no longer read the mesages.

If the messages are stored on the device and you can power the device up you can use the application posted at https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/770529 , the application has a screen capture option and you can use the screen as a guide to install MyBackup from Market or a number of backup apps from Market and then you can run the applications and backup data to your SD Card to restore to the replacement device.

If you have backed up previously to iTunes on a specific computer, even if it has been a while, you may be able to still backup even if you are unable enter the passcode on your iPhone due to a damaged screen. You may find the following article helpful:
If you have previously synced your device with iTunes, you may be able to reset the passcode by restoring the device:
Connect the device to the computer with which you normally sync and open iTunes.
Note: If iTunes asks you to enter the passcode, try another computer that you have synced with. Otherwise, go to "If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer" section below.
If the device is still disabled, or if iTunes does not automatically sync your device, sync the device with iTunes.
When the backup and sync is complete, restore your device.
When iOS Setup Assistant asks to set up your device, choose "Restore from iTunes backup".
Select your device in iTunes and choose the most recent backup of your device.

As of about 2 weeks ago the mac users can no longer read the page numbers they get a font error message and see only -- where the page information should be. The pc users do not have this same problem. When I replace our regular font (URW Grotesk) with a system font (Verdana) everyone is able to read the page numbers. This is a new issues, I have been creating these documents in the same way for years without a problem. I have been on hold and on and off calls for the last two hours, I keep getting hung up on once I find someone in adobe support to talk to!

It was from InDesign that I was creating the shared pdfs. I was one of two Mac drivers in a corporate sea of Win users and had to make the change I mentioned in order for the Win users to see my pdfs for review. The difference from what you appear to be doing was that were all on an MS Exchange Server so the files were shared over the company's Exchange Server e-mail system. However, some of these files occasionally went to outside users via regular e-mail and those people had no issues either.
So what I did was tested and worked for years.
You might look at the Adobe forums or Knowledge Base to see if that is a reported issue with newer version of CS. I was on CS2 when I was doing this, and the other Mac driver was on CS3 but had no problems either.
Some Win users I've talked to find a problem opening some pdfs (not mine) in general and found they had to open Reader first and them open the file from Reader's File menu. That most often happened if the client was using an outdated version of Reader.

If both devices are the same model, there is no reason why it would not theoretically work.

I was trying to put more music on my phone, but iTunes said I had to update and restore my phone. The only reason why I update using my computer is because I use up too much space to update using wi-fi, and I'd rather not erase everything to be honest. I started around 5-ish on 1/12/15 and finished around 12-ish on 1/13/15. (I had to keep restarting my computer and phone to get the system update like the troubleshooting website suggested.)The last time I backed up my phone was about a week ago on 1/6/15. But now when I look at my text messages and pictures, everything ends at 1/6/15 as if I never used my phone since then. Honestly, it's really frustrating. I know that you have to back up your phone before updating and everything, but I just wanted to know if there was a way I can get all of my missing stuff back. Maybe I did something wrong?? I'm just hoping there's a way for me to get my pictures and messages back. I don't even really care about the update to be honest lol. Any suggestions would help!!

You cannot update iPhone 4 to IOS 8.1.2, the highest you can update is IOS 7.1.2.

The passcode lock doesn't prevent the iPhone from being backed up and synced with the computer used for syncing the iPhone - unless the iPhone hasn't been synced with the computer since the passcode lock was set up. And you wouldn't be able to see your info on the iPhone either.
Contacts should already be on your computer - not a good idea to depend on an iPhone or any cell phone alone for such import data.
There is nothing you can do.

After my first iPhone had broken due to the home button refused to work and a smashed up screen, I took it to apple for a replacement.
After I got my new phone it worked perfectly fine until a few months later my screen broke again, so I took it to a phone shop for repairing and they had done it dodgy.
The screen wasn't in properly and it had difficulties charging, and again the screen had broken and the charging got worse, I want to take it back to apple but will I have to pay to replace again because I've already taken it to apple?

You can forget about taking it back to Apple. Once a third-party touched it, you voided all warranty & support, as well as the right to an out of warranty replacement. They'll just hand it back to you.
Don't bother going to Apple, you'll just be wasting your time.

Can no longer read the base station configuration

I am seting up a Airport Extreme N. I was able to read the configuration file twice with no problem. Now AirPort Utility "sees" the base station and tells me the Name, IP, Version, and AirPort ID but when I select the continue button AirPort Unitlity just sits and spins.
1) I am using the latest AirPort Utility (2007-1)
2) I have tried the 1 second reset
3) I have tried the 6 second reset
4) I have tried the reset while powering up
I see a few other threads like this but no conclusive answers.

Found the problem (well a work-around).
If the base station restarts while my LaCie USB 1TB drive is plugged in and turned on then AirPort Utility hangs reading the configuration. If I wait until the base station is up and running to plug the USB drive in all is fine. Also AirPort Utility will crash while hung reading the configuration and I unplug the USB drive.
To be sure I tested 3 times. Totally repeatable. Total time...4.5 hours

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your ipod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your ipod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your iPod for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the ipod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

Can no longer read "Comments" on New York Times website

I updated Flash Player on Monday to the latest version, but today (Tuesday) find I can no longer read the "comments" attached to various articles on the NYT website. Neither of our other home machines (an early iPad and a win7 laptop) have this problem, nor were they updated. I contacted NYT, and they said they can't duplicate the problem, nor are others reporting the problem.
My system is Windows 8 64bit, (not 8.1 and not touch-enabled). Does anyone have any suggestions? Many thanks.

The thing is... The NYT comments DON'T require or use Flash Player. They use Java, which is a separate plugin and has nothing to do with Flash.
How do I know? I disabled Flash and went to their pages:
There are the comments with NO Flash Player activated.
Try updating Java.
And BTW, you can't update Flash Player on an iPad, because there never was a Flash Player for iOS.
