How would I connect to DB2 thru sqldeveloper version 3.1?

has anyone successfully connected to DB2 thru sqldeveloper version 3.1?....I have downloaded the IBM DB2client: the db2jcc.jar and db2jcc_license_cu.jar files and am able to successfully connect to DB2 via an ODBC connection (thru the windows-control-panel)....however when I try to connect thru sqldeveloper, I get the following error:
"Status : Failure -Test failed: The version of the IBM Universal JDBC driver in use is not licensed for connectivity to z/OS databases. To connect to this DB2 server, please obtain a licensed copy of the IBM DB2 Universal Driver for JDBC and SQLJ. An appropriate license file db2jcc_license_*.jar for this target platform must be installed to the application classpath. Connectivity to z/OS databases is enabled by any of the following license files: { db2jcc_license_cisuz.jar }"
what is puzzling is that ODBC connection thru the contro-panel, admin tools-data sources(ODBC),file-dsn works fine and no licensing issue with the DB2client downloaded and installed (i.e. db2jcc.jar).....any solutions will be appreciated....

From what you posted, I'm guessing you don't have the correct licence file (db2jcc_license_cu.jar v db2jcc_license_cisuz.jar ).
I don't think DB2 on z/Os is fully supported by SQL Developer.

I have about 50 routers and layer-3 switches that autheticate via tacacs+. The AAA server used to be on a Linux machine running open-source tacacs+ built by me. I have a perl script that will log into all 50 devices at the same time to collect statistics. This script is multi-threaded. Everything is working fine so far.
I recently out-sourced the AAA function to a 3rd party company, not by my choice. The 3rd party uses Cisco ACS version 4.2 with the latest patch running on Windows 2003 Enterprise Server with 16GB RAM and quad processors with quad-cores, IBM x3650-M2 hardware. The connectivity between the 3rd party and my company is through a DS-3 connection. Maximum bandwidth over this DS-3 connection is less than 10Mbps at most.
I noticed that for the past 3 months I have multiple failures with this perl script due to authentication failure with the ACS server. If I just run the script again a few routers/switches, there are no issues; however, whenever I started the script to log into 50 devices all at the same time, it will fail. If I made the configuration on all routers/switches to point back to the old open-source tacacs+ server, the issue goes away. The minute I switched back to the
new ACS server, the issue came back. If I modified the script to hit one device at a time, it works fine. I think it is the ACS server can not handle a lot
of AAA requests at the same time.
Does anyone know how many concurrent connections that an ACS 4.2, with latest patches on Windows 2003 Enterprise Server with lot of memory and CPU power, can handle? I can't seem to find this anywhere on Cisco website.

No, Im not saying ACS cannot cope.
Concurrency and latency are very different things. ACS CSTacacs can handle many 100s of simple authentications/authorisations per second with users in the internal database. If 1000s of devices all send traffic in the same instant it would take some seconds to work through the backlog of traffic.
Also, worth considering that a limited number of tasks within ACS (or threads) can actually handle a much greater number of "logins" because they are generally multi-message allowing ACS to keep lots of plates spinning.
If users are in an external databases the latency (per authentication) can increase depending on where the users are (eg Windows AD) and if bad enough can have a serious effect on the overall authentication rate. At which point customers normally turn to load balancing.
If your device timeouts are 20 seconds (totally reasonable) I suggest the issue is more likely to be something else... a bug, perhaps specific to v4.2?

How would you setup users to have different versions of Flash Player?

I am looking to test some setups with different versions of Flash, but wanted to know how to setup one user to have Flash Player Version 6, one with version 7, 8, etc.

Create a new folder named Internet Plug-Ins inside the Library folder of the home folder of some of your user accounts, and move the different versions of the plugin into this folder, one per user account. The copy of the Flash plugin in the main Library folder is accessed when an account doesn't have a copy in its home folder.

How would I connect my Macbook to a new Plasma tv?

I have an Intel Macbook which has a mini-DVI output, and I can connect it via a mini-DVI to DVI cable into the plasma telly I already own. This gives me a 1024x640 resolution on my plasma.
However, I have been looking to upgrade my plasma to a new HD one, and have been looking at the Pioneer pdp-4280xd. This has all the usual connections (3xhdmi, component, s-video etc) as well as a PC input, which is SXGA. According to one website, SXGA can throw out a resolution of 1280x1024. However this telly only has a pixel res of 1024x768. Regardless, according to the Apple website, it states my Macbook mini-DVI connection only supports DVI, VGA, S-Video, and Composite (blahh!!). So I am assuming then, that my Macbook won't be able to send a signal through the SXGA port, correct?
If that is the case, how else is best for me to connect my Macbook to a new telly like this one? Can I connect via a HDMI port? I have read S-video is not as good as using a DVI input, but there doesn't seem to be much choice if there isn't a DVI or VGA input available. And if I do connect via S-video, in this telly's case, I am assuming I can only get a max res of 1024x768 (the tv has rectangular pixels to give it a widescreen aspect).
Is it best for me to wait for a 42" plasma which has full HD resolution so I can have better res with my Macbook connected? And how is best for me to connect it with all these new tv ports?

Connecting ZOS DB2 from SQLDeveloper

I am trying to connect Z O/S DB2 from Oracle sql developer.
I already installed DB2 in my windows machine and i can configure the catalog of Z O/S database. I can connect Z O/S DB2 from my windows machine DB2.
Then i installed SQLDEVELPOER 3.0.04.34 registered the following jar file from windows DB2.
db2jcc.jar and db2jcc_license_cu.jar (Location :- ****\SQLLIB\java). Then i try to connect the Z 0/S DB2 database. While i try to connect, it show the below error.
An error was encountered performing the requested operation:
[jcc][t4][10509][13454][3.62.56] Connection to the data server failed. The IBM Data Server for JDBC and SQLJ license was invalid or was not activated for the DB2 for Z/OS subsystem.if you are connecting directly to the data server and using DB2 connect unlimited Edition for System z, perform the activation step by running the activation program in the license activation kit.
If you are using aother edition of DB2 Connect,obtain the license file, db2jcc_license_cisuz.jar, from the license activation kit, and follow the installation directions to include the license file in the class path

Since you do not indicate, what model iPhone do you have, and why does it not have Bluetooth? If the Bluetooth is simply not functioning, you would need to take it in to have it repaired. Bluetooth is required for the Apple Watch.

Can I (and if so, how would I) connect two encoders (one linear and one angular) to the same chassis (NI 9401) and get their respective NI MAX tasks to run as simultaneously as possible?

Sorry, but I am still rather new to LabVIEW and NI MAX. I connected both devices (a linear probe and an angular encoder) to my NI 9401 chassis. I figured out how to create tasks for each and get continous samples readings from each. When trying to run both in LabVIEW, I get the error saying that I cannot run multiple tasks at once. It suggests the Control Task VI, but I did not see any help in that. Any advice?
Here is some general information, whatever it is worth: Both encoders are operating off of the same clock source, PFI4, which to my knowledge corresponds to CTR 1 A, where the angular encoder's A signal is wired in. The linear's physical channel is ctr0 and the angular's is ctr1.

So if I go the Edge Counter route, is there any way for the task to figure out direction of the encoders? It looks like my options are always counting up or always counting down whenever the encoder is read... For my application, I need it to read when the linear encoder goes in and when it goes out... Am I doing something incorrectly with it?
I am using a probe to measure the contour of a part, and using a motor to spin the part, with one encoder measuring the angle of the motor and the other measuring the displacement of the probe.
Also I am still not seeing a way to simultaneously read both devices in NI MAX... I cannot use two counter inputs from the same device at once in the same task it seems.

HT5219 How would I connect dual monitors and also a firewire cable? Macbook Pro (Retina)

Currently I am using two thunderbolt to DVI connectors for the dual monitors, but I am left without any firewire cable connection for my audio interface. THe only adaptor I found was another thunderbolt to firewire, but since I already used these two ports, I am left with no options. I haven't been able to find any usb to firewire cable connections.
Are there any other adapators/ports I can use that I am not aware of?

Hi I have just installed the SQL developer that was released on 14-FEb-06. I have a 8.0.6.2.0 with NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET as AL16UTF16, NLS_LANGUAGE = AMERICAN. I have Oracle 9i installed on my local machine and when I try to connect to the 8.0.6.2.0, I get ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1 ORA-02248: invalid option for ALTER SESSION. By not supported it does not mean that SQL Developer won't try to connect to them but that we are not certified against them. There are many of our functions that work fine against 8.1.7 and we strive to not hang the software when connected to a db prior to 9i but we don't certify, won't support, won't bug stuff against less than 9i.

There is AirDrop which comes with Lion. The Snow Leopard machines would need a hack but it can be made to work on any Mac with an Airport card.
Also there is a 3rd party app called DropCopy in the App Store. It is free and I use it with no problems.

You can't. The closest thing would be to create links in an oracle database to the SQL Server database using Heteregeneous Services and connect forms to the that.
