Howt to retrieve the parameters sent from an iView in WDA

Hi,
I´m sending some parameters form the Portal iView containign the WDA component, how can I retrieve the parameters sent in to my webdynpro ABAP development.

Hi Gerado,
Go to the window in your WD ABAP component.
Declare those parameters as importing type in HANDLEDEFAULT method.
You will receive the values at runtime in these parameters.
Please check this wiki also. It tells about reading URL parameters in WD ABAP but it will work the same way for iView paramters.

We are trying to send the payload information back to the client for a failed BPEL Transaction from B2B's b2b_instancemessage view. We are enqueing messages to IP_OUT_QUEUE using BPEL. We see the payload coming correctly in the B2B Business Message Reports. But we don't see the payload coming in the b2b_instancemessage view for failed B2B transactions. How can we see the payload in b2b_instancemessage view for failed B2B transactions as well? or How can we retrieve the Payload information from B2B?

I am not sure about the PDK API to get the group name. But using LDAP API its easy to get the User Group.
If you find the answer to get the group name using PDK API, Please update in forum. It will really help others.

How to retrieve the max value from a cursor in procedure

Hi,
In a procedure, I defined a cursor:
cursor c_emp is select empno, ename, salary from emp where ename like 'J%';
but in the body part, I need to retrieve the max(salary) from the cursor.
could you please tell me how I can get the max value from the cursor in the procedure.

Here is one sample but you should just get the max directly. Using bulk processing should be a last resort.

How to retrieve the parameter names from a JSP page ? Urgent Please

Can anybody tell me how to retrieve the parameter names from the JSP
page. (without using getParameterNames() method.)
The problem with the getParameterNames() method is I get the Jumbled output.

My primary intention is to convert the JSP form information into a XML file.
If I do not get the Parameter names in the correct order how can I maintain
tag order in XML file.

If I use getParameterNames() to get all the parameter names(Which form the tag names in the XML file ) the Enumeration object it returns will not be in the same order as the text fields in JSP.From this I can not construct a meaningful XML file.

I am using the bleow query to retrieve the max date from the record list:
select w.wr_no,w.customer_id,w.place_id, w.entry_Date, max(app.appointment_date) as appointment_date
from work_request w , wr_appointment app
where w.wr_no=app.wr_no
and w.customer_id = '020167001'
and w.place_id = '1151667'
group by w.wr_no, w.customer_id,w.place_id, w.entry_Date;
However i am getting the as many as three rows even after using the max function. The max date comes as the last record out the three rows retrieved.

In fact you want to group only on the customer (and place_id?) and get all the information from the line with the last appointment date.
Analytic functions such as RANK or ROW_NUMBER are good for this.
The select can look like this.

         row_number() over (partition by w.customer_id, w.place_id order by app.appointment_date desc, w.wr_no desc) rn

;In fact I think you can do the same operation in EXCEL directly.
FIrst you need to sort the data by customer (asc), place (asc) and appointment date (desc).
Then add a column in excel that give you the line where you have a new customer id.
Assuming this new column is column H and the customerid is in column A then the function in Cell H2 would look like this.
A function like ("=A2=A1"). Copy this formular to all the other H cells.
Then add a auto filter on it and only select all the rows where the result is FALSE.
Same logic as in SQL, but done in Excel.

You need to setup different Receive At addresses for iMessage.
If you don't want the same pics on each, turn off PhotoStream.

You have to write a custom code for that. Use the table FUPARAREF to retrieve the parameters for a function module. Give function module name as input.

Unfortunatly, I don't have the option to re-create my SP list. I have created my KPI list in the same site as the targeted list. I have made all items available in the list view, I've tried several different list views, I still get the

In MOSS 2007 I've created a list with about 24 columns. I need a KPI based on one of the columns. I've tried to creat a view with that one column, I've tried to creat a view with all columns
and make it the defualt column... I don't know what else to try here.

This can happen if the HD icon is inadvertently dragged to the iPhoto Window.
Easiest solution: restore from your back up.

We have a requirment where we receive a xml file from Kenexa, a third party HR tool using a middleware tool. from SAP side We have to create a proxy to retrieve the xml file from web services by initiating call through middleware tool i used earlier.
these are the steps i intend to follow to accomlish the requirement.
1) middleware tool has to initiate the call to kenexa web services to receive the xml file when it is available.
2) On SAP we need to create a ABAP Proxy service provider to middleware where this file can be received.
Can any one guide me how i can create a proxy to retrieve the xml file from web services by initiating call through other middlewre (its not PI).
Any help would be really great, i am not a ABAP developer, so please help me with this. Thanks.
