HP M602 DN do not select a smaller size paper

Hi Experts,
We need to print a document from VL03n (single sheet format 203x288 mm other A4 sheets)
Printing method S. Printer HP M602 DN. According to the note 1135055 printer published as HPLJCM1 and Zhputf8g device type. With these settings, all sheets are printed only on A4 format. If we print on Kyocera same form prints correctly single sheet format 203x288 mm other A4 sheets.
How to configure printer HP M602 DN to select different formats from different trays?

Short answer is that you can't. AirPrint is very limited about paper types and sizes, as well as image sizes.
If you have an HP printer, try using the HP ePrint app. It's free in the app store. The app will allow you to select paper and image size when printing.

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a
When I try to print to a custom print size (2.75" x 6" in my case), I get the same error everyone else is reporting: "Paper detected does not match paper size or type selected. Make sure the paper size or type is correct to continue the job."
I am currently trying to print using Microsoft Word for Mac 2011 version 14.4.5, but I have the same problem with printing from Adobe Reader 9.8.5 or Preview 8.0.
I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10.
My printer's firmware is "up to date" as of 28-Aug-2014.
This is what I did:
1. Open System Preferences from the Apple menu.
2. Click on the Printers & Scanners icon.
3. Click on the + sign under the list of printers to add a printer
4. Click on IP
5. Enter my IP address in the Address field (verified as "valid and complete host name or address")
6. Ignore Protocol field (default is Line Printer Daemon - LPD)
7. Ignore Queue field (default is blank for default queue)
8. Ignore Name field (default is IP address)
9. Ignore Location field (default is blank)
10. Under the Use dropdown menu, I select "Select Software"
11. HP Deskjet 9800 is not an option.
I searched for 9800, but there is no HP printer with that number in the options.
I tried selecting "HP DeskJet 980C - Gutenprint v5.2.3" to see if that would work, but I received the same error message as above. I tried selecting other random HP printers, but so far I've had no luck.
I've been googling about for a way to manually add a printer driver to this "Select Software" list, but I've found nothing (apparently, no one else wants to do this). I did not find a driver download for the HP DeskJet 9800 for OS X Yosemite 10.10 on the Drivers & Software section of the hp.com website.
Additional details on settings for Microsoft Word for Mac 2011 version 14.4.5:
Selected File > Page Setup from menu
Under the Paper Size drop down menu, I selected manage custom size.
- Click + to add a paper size
- Enter "2.75" in width and "6 in" height in the paper size fields.
- Enter "0 in" as the User Defined Non-Printable Area for top, left, right and bottom.
- Double-clicked Untiled in the custom size list and rename the size as Receipt
- Click OK to return to the Page Setup dialog box
Under Settings: Page Attributes:
- Format for "HP Officejet Pro 8600"
- Paper size: Receipt
- Orientation: "tall/portrait"
- Scale: 100%
- Click OK
Select Format > Document and set all page margins to 0.25"

I think that "ding-dong" error sound might be due to an old print job stuck in the print cache, though. Open the Windows Control Panel > Printers and Faxes and check the '''Status''' for that printer.

How do I shrink a note to a small size

I have been using notes in Mt Lion and accidentally made each of them small so they sit open in the lower right corner of my desktop. I need to know how to do that when I need to since I can't make it happen again, I just get a full screen note. This is a stupid question, sorry, but I need to know!

If the photo is in iPhoto, you can use the File Menu Export command and that will allow you to change both size and quality, both of which will affect the file size. If you open the photo in Preview, the Preview File Menu Export command will allow you to change quality and will show the effect on file size.

Photosmart 6520 all in one.does not pick up small photo paper

I am sorry to read about the issue you are having with your new Photosmart 6520 not picking up 4x6 paper. I understand you have cleaned the rollers and that did not resolve the problem. I have researched this and have found a couple of documents that I recommend you look at to ensure all of the print settings are correct when printing on a 4x6 or any other size you wish to print on.
I am unsure if you have a Windows or a Mac computer, therefore I will post 2 different links for you to look at depending on which operating system you have.

Adobe Acrobat X Pro on Mac does not select duplex print by default

I have Adobe Acrobat X Pro 10.1.8 for Mac. When I print a document, Acrobat does not select duplex print (i.e. "Print on both sides") by default. While I can manually select duplex print, I don't understand why this isn't the default option here as in every other application. Just for reference, here is a screen shot of my default print screen:
I have played around with duplex printing in the advanced properties of PDF's. I have also played around with the DuplexMode property in the com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro.plist file. Actually, there is no DuplexMode property in the file, but I tried making one, which didn't solve the problem. There is a printBookletDuplexMode property but that doesn't seem to make a different. In any case, nothing has worked.
There are some similar questions on the forums, but they are either slightly different or haven't been answered. Is this such a difficult issue?

I agree with your statement; even for a particular document, if I choose to "Print on both sides" and then print again immediately after, "Print on both sides" will be deselected.
However, I'm not sure what you're implying by you're statement. I'm asking precisely why this setting isn't sticky. Acrobat uses a non-standard printer dialog; in the usual dialog I can easily set a defualt duplex setting. I almost always want to print duplex. Why can't I do this by default in Acrobat?

Howdy.
Sounds like you're looking for the Clone Stamp Tool. Set to Aligned, the sampling point resets when you release the mouse after painting. Untic Aligned and the sampling point stays in the original spot for the next stroke. It's a good idea to clone onto a separate layer with Sample All Layers selected. Then you don't lose original pixels. Allows you a do over later.

How to select a small area without a low feather???

When i select a small area with the lasso tool i get the warning: 'no pixels are more than 50% selected. The selected edge will not be visible.'
I already read that the feather should me low. However if i do that, the outcome wont be nice.
I want to bleach teeth and when i use a small feather the teeth wont be selected very well. So how can i solve this problem??
(I am sorry if my english is not that well, i am from the Netherlands )

You can use the lasso tool without any Feather (set feather to 0) keep anti-alias checked and use Refine Edge to add any feathering if needed.
You might make a layer mask from the selection and then use the brush tool to refine the mask.
When you get that message you still have a selection, but elements is letting you know that any pixels selected less than 50% won't be visible with the marching ants. (the selection edge you see
when using any of the selection tools)
What version of photoshop elements are you using?

I found another instance, where the procedure works and I will compare those privileges, but it's hard to sort out that complex structure of nested roles and sys_privs.
How ever, I will update here, when I found the missing privilege.

Can not select 'Show HD' in Finder Preferences

Just performed Data Migration on a new iMac Intel late 2011 from a 2 year old iMac Intel. For some reason, the Macintosh HD does not display on the desktop. If I go to Finder Preferences I can not select Hard Disks. The box is not selected, but If I try to click it, it will not stick. How do I fix that. Not much on the internet concering this peculiarity.

OK, try a couple of things. First is to do some resets, the first I'd recommend doing is restarting the computer in Safe Mode, this will clear some caches. It's possible one is corrupt. Next is to reset the SMC and PRAM, each of these should be done 2x to ensure they work. Finally if that doesn't do it open Disk Utility (Applications - Utilities - Disk Utility) and Repair Disk Permissions 2x.
SMC RESET
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord and all peripherals.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Release the power button.
Attach the computers power cable.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
PRAM RESET
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.

Can not select an address from Contacts in Maverick

I'm able to access my address book contacts from Mail.
But when Contacts window is open, I can not select a contact (For, CC, Bcc Fields are in grey).
Is there anyone with suggestions?

When finished installing, choose the Apple () menu, then Software Update to update your software to the latest version.
Open Soundtrack Pro to verify that the issue has been resolved.

ADF 11g can not select and copy data from cell of readonly table in IE

In ADF 11g, when render view object as readonly table with Single RowsSelection, using IE browser can not select and copy data from the cell, but it work in firefox.
is it a bug?
