HP Photosmart 5520 All toner cartridges showing empty or damaged & now Carridge Stall

Howdy.
As per the title, my 5520 is having some serious issues. It started a few days ago when I got the message that all 4 cartridges were empty, missing, or damaged. Tried reseating them a few times, cleaned off the contact point, all the things mentioned in the video with no luck.
Today I am still having that problem, but now I am having an additional issue. The printer carridge seems to be stuck in the far right position. When you open the lid it tries to move right but jame. It tries this 3-4 times quickly then gives me the stall warning. If I try to move it manually to the left, I have the same resistance. All the ink cartridges are seated and locked correctly in their carriage, and there are no jams of any kind visible.
Followed all the steps in the video with no luck, though there are no instructions for a carriage that is stuck to the far right.
Additionally when I turn it off and back on using the power button on the front, it comes up with an error on start up saying that I improperly shut it down and should use the power button in the future... only thing is, that's what I did.

To add on to what sabertooth04 stated, here is a link to a document that addresses print apps for your model of printer. Click on the drop down titled "Managing Scheduled Delivery Print Apps" and the option to cancel or remove an app will be available for you to click on and review the steps to remove that app . I hope that this helps.

Can't seem to be able to get wording to be readable on the paper. Put in new Black Cartridge today, Color Cartridges are ok, according to the printer diagonstics report that was just done. Officejet 6600 New Ink Cartridge Shows Empty

I bought brand new color ink cartridges from Bestbuy for my Officeject 6600. I printed one color page. After a week when i tried to print in color, it is telling me the color cartridges are empty or near empty! Can you believe it -- only after one page printed. This looks like a scam by HP to me. Please tell me that it is not. That HP does not sell color ink cartridges that you are obligated to use EVERY DAY or else it fails after one print. It makes me never want to buy an HP product again. Hope there is an explanation. Please help!

Hey , Welcome to the HP Support Forum. I understand you're concerned about the page yield in the colour cartridges of your HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One Printer. I would like to assist you with this. For your information, depending on whether you were using regular or XL sized colour cartridges, you can yield approximately 330 to 825 pages per colour cartridge. One colour print job, barring manufacturing defects in the cartridge, is not enough to drain a full set. Click here for more information on the limited warranty on HP ink supplies. Have you been printing a lot of text only (black ink) print jobs? If yes, as you will see here and here coloured ink is often used in black only print jobs, unless you've configured your printer settings in Windows or Mac to be otherwise. In the HP Ink Usage in Inkjet Printers article that I've linked above, you can learn how and when ink is used by your printer in print jobs and other features. Further to that, some ink (including coloured ink) is used to service the print head and to prevent clogging. Sharepoint Custom List Mobile view all field values showing empty

I have a custom list where I have multiple fields like employee id, name, title, department, manager. When I browse this form in PC VIEW all fields are showing properly and read only using 1.7.2.min.js & 0.7.2.js , it is working like a charm, I have
also one more like where I have SAP Employee Data I can also able to retrieve the data from that particular list and its also working perfectly.
The problem is that when I browse this list in mobile view all custom list fields showing blank values and enabled which I do not want can you please tell me the solution for this problem, I do not think that there is any problem with jquery or spservice
version issue, please guide as soon as possible...

C310 photosmart cartridges showing empty after 300 pages printed

The c310a has been going through cartidges like crazy with hardly any pages printed. I call tech support which informed me that it was a sensor defect(hardware problem). The tech then continued to tell me that for $168.00 I could buy another model which uses the same cartidges, 564#. I did not pay that much for the c310a. I own three HP laptops and a destop. I will not buy any more HP products if they continue to use "made in china" products with no support. I guess it is time to look at other brands since they cannot fix a printer to get more than 300 pages of mostly text.

HP Photosmart 7520 all in one showing Air Print Macbook Pro Maverick 10.9.4

At one point I did not have Air Print showing beside printer in system preferences. Printer and scanning is working fine, but I was told by someone on this message board that Air Print should not show. How do I remove Air Print. I have a Macbook Pro Maverick 10.9.4. HP Scan version 4.1.1. I did an update earlier this year and the Air Print was not there. Did not see board for Mac to choose for issue. Thanks for your help.

I understand you are seeing AirPrint next to your printer, meaning you are currently using the AirPrint driver and not the HP driver. I can help you change this. Please complete the steps below;
Reset Printing System
Click the Apple icon (   ), and then click System Preferences.
In the Hardware section, click Print & Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/Scan dialog box opens.
Right-click (or  Ctrl  +click) in the left panel, and then click Reset printing system…
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type the correct Name and Password.
Click OK to reset the printing system. The Print & Fax dialog box shows no printer selected
Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol.
When you add the printer, to ensure you are using the HP driver, not the AirPrint driver use the steps below;
Select Add Other Printer or Scanner
Select the printer you are adding and next to 'Use' you can select the printer driver

Photosmart 7520, eliminating toner cartridge skankware

I have a photosmart 7520 I am very disappointed with.
How do I prevent the perpetual pop ups advertising HP consumables?
I routinely get a sequence of 3 pop ups.
When I use the HP utility to attempt to control the HP alerts the application crashes "critical error occured. please restart application ..."
I will discard the printer but woudl like guidance for how to expunge the advertising daemon.

Hello twdeckard, and welcome to the HP Forums.
I see you are looking into printer pop-ups. I would like to try and assist.
I would suggest deleting the printer from your print system, using this document: Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Once you have deleted it, I would suggest verifying and repairing the disk permissions: About Disk Utility's Repair Disk Permissions feature.
I would also suggest running your Apple updates: OS X: Updating OS X and Mac App Store apps
After the updates, I would recommend reinstalling the HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer Full Feature Software and Drivers. Once you have launched the software, select which programs you want installed.

Phone was docked all day - Battery shows empty

I came home from work this morning, put my phone on the charger, when I woke up this afternoon, I went to get my phone for use, the battery was still in the red.
Still showed it was connected to iTunes, and I've noticed the battery icon has the plug inside as if it were a full charge, not the lightning bolt icon as if it were charging.
Also, while connected to iTunes, the battery meter next to my phone in the device list shows nothing. Doesn't show full or empty, looks entirely blank.
I'm stumped. Any ideas? Has it happened to anyone before?

It's pretty standard for me to charge the phone when I get home, and the computer always sleeps, and the phone always has a full charge when I get up in the afternoon.
Anyhow, I power cycled the phone, and the battery meter shows full now.
It would seem everything is back to normal.

I to update my iPod to iOS 8.1 and all that is showing on my iPod now is the charger cord with an arrow pointing to the iTunes logo

i went to plug in into iTunes and it would not allow me to fix it by putting into recovery mode.I tried everything called apple care that did not help

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

What operating system is on your computer?
Are you still able to print or is it giving an error related to the ink?

Error 403 indicates my print it, I can not scan and send to my mail this always gone well tidy

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I see that you are no longer able to use the scan to email feature of your Photosmart 5520 printer.
Please start by setting a manual IP address and manual DNS servers for your printer. I have included a link to another post that has the steps with screen shots. Don’t worry that the screen shots are for a Photosmart 7510, the steps are the same. Once you’ve set the manual IP and DNS servers, you should be able to connect to web services and use the scan to email feature.
