HT1212 Help with disable phone due to password

Help, I have locked my self out of my iphone 4s. I tried so many times it forced the find my phone reset. I went through all those prompts and was able to get in however, when the phone locked I again could not get the password right and have managed to lock myself out again (i know i know I should have written it down). Anyhow, I tried to sysnc it with my itunes as it suggested online but itunes said it couldn't sync with my device because the device is lucked. Any suggestions / solutions would on how to solve this issue ?

Hi, just thought I'd mention this,. A lot of people are asking for help that is in there phone.Whilst the manuals supplied with current phones may be a little sparce, new users should be aware that as you go through you're phones features, whenever 'options' appears in the bottom left hand corner, one of those options is HELP and when selected gives you access to a comprehensive list of topics that will take you to a tutorial for most features of your Nokia phone.

I have a DROID MINI and have dropped it into water. Does the "rice" trick help with this phone or do I have to just look into buying a new one? Please help ASAP.

Oh no this is not good jbirdphan! We want to ensure you have a working phone. With the phone falling into water, it's now considered water damage. Do you carry insurance on the device? If so, you may file an insurance claim to replace your device. In addition, you may also check to see if you are eligible to upgrade to a new phone. To verify your upgrade date you may dial #UPG send directly from your handset.

HT1212 Help with Recovery for Ipad Mini. Please! My mini Ipad is disabled and I can't recovery it.

Okay so my I dont have my Ipad Mini password, I go to recovery it and it all goes well until it has like 27 minutes left then the Ipad turns on. I have tried to shut it back off and the recovery doesnt work. I have tried switching to another computer and rebooting my computer. I have the latest version of Itunes on it. Please help!!!!

Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost.

Help with disabled ipad mini not simple solution please help

My 10 year old has disabled his ipad mini - the pc it was synced to is broken so have downloaded itunes to a different pc - plugged in the ipad and get to the point where the box says "to allow access, please repond on your ipad" - this does nothing as the ipad is disabled and cannot access to allow access - i am literally going insane with this if anyone can help it would be really appreciated

Help with resetting the Offline Payment Password (OP Password)

I sent the email to [email protected] referenced in KB: http://kb.worldsecuresystems.com/939/cpsid_93902.html though I have not received a text message to the phone number supplied.
Our site is nosillaorganics.com, we are a client of BigTurns.....Can someon help us get this moving please?
Recap of the issue we're facing:
We use offline credit card processing and cannot retrieve the PDF Secure Passphrase so in effect cannot process any orders....it's kind of a problem. :-)
When we try to access the PDF Secure Passphrase we receive the message: "Your Offline Payment Password (OP Password) is overdue. For security reasons, you must change it every 90 days. To access this area, you must login using your OP Password."
We have the choice to Cancel or Continue...when we hit continue.....we go to the OP login screen and it asks us to enter the old OPP though it doesn't actually work because we always get the following error upon submit:
"Your offline payment session has been temporarily restricted due to too many failed login attempts. Your account will automatically unlock shortly; there is no need to contact customer support." however it has been over 5 days and the account is still locked!

Urgent help with prepaid phones?

We just activated a batch of new prepaid phones. They activated fine, but whenever we try to place outgoing calls, one or two rings in, we get an error message as if the call is to a wrong or disconnected number ("The call cannot be completed as dialed"). Halfway through this message will stop and the phone will continue ringing. This can happen twice in one phone call sometimes. It eventually reaches the number dialed, but it takes twice as long. I need to get this resolved ASAP. I've run *228 operations and even did some manual stuff with Verizon tech support, who basically threw up their hands and said they couldn't help me after a while.

Is it every call you make that you hear the error message on? Can you dial *611 from the phone and hear the balance?--if not call 888-294-6804 from the cell phone and you should get a message from verizon about your account now being activated.
Other than the issue with Tech Support, Manual Programming was done with them i'm sure, Have you checked your Nam Settings (Menu > Settings and Tools > Phone > System Select) ensure it is on NAM 1, if its on NAM 2, change to NAM 1 and dial *22890.

Help with disabling close icon of last opened tab in JTabbedPane

Would someone help me out ? I have 3 tabs opened in a JTabbedPane, each with close icon "X". I am looking for a way to tell my program: if the user closes 2 tabs and only 1 remain, disable the close icon "X" of the last opened tab so that the user is unable to close the last tab. I have searched the forum, most I have run into are how to create the close icon. Would someone give me some insight into how to go about doing this? or if you have come across a forum that discusses this, do please post the link. Also, I am using java 1.6.

On each close, look how many tabs are remaining open in the JTabbedPane (getTabCount).
If there is only one left, set its close button to invisible. Something like this:
if (pane.getTabCount() == 1) {
TabCloseButton tcb = (TabCloseButton) pane.getTabComponentAt(0);
tcb.getBtClose().setVisible(false);
}

Help with unlocked phone please and thank you

I recently bought a used Iphone 3gs off of a friend who had it "unlocked" for a non- iphone carrier, any-who I just happend to use the carrier that the phone was originally locked for phone and would like to upgrade to ios5 I know that it will delete all of the hacks or what have you and I'm okay with that... I just need to know if this will mess with my sim or my data that's stored on the phone? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

So wouldyou recommend that I update? It was made for use with an att sim but was unlocked for use with a tmobile sim... I just so happen to have att. So the phone being locked for att wouldn't be a bother for me. I've just heard of people getting sim card read errors after updating, so I was wondering if I should even bother.

Need help with transferring phone files

So my girlfriend has an audio file on her phone (a Droid RAZR HD) and she needs to upload it to a computer for a class. Her computer is really bad and so she's using mine, a Mac. I downloaded the Backup Assistant program for Mac and when her phone is plugged in I can drag all the files she needs over to the local content but the transfers always fail. When I click on the transfer log it simply says they failed but it never gives any explanation as to why or how to fix it.
We've tried going bluetooth connection but I have an iPhone and whenever she searches for bluetooth devices my phone doesn't show up in hers and vice versa. I have plenty of space in my Verizon Cloud to transfer it there but her phone is on her parents plan so I can't really transfer her files to mine. It seems her phone is already linked with a Cloud account that isn't mine.
What can we do to resolve this issue? Any tips would be greatly appreciated

I need help with my mac mail account password!

okay. so i came home one day after work, and i went to check my mail. there is a squiggly line next to my inbox. i tried to send a message, and a box popped up asking for my account password. now i only use two passwords - one is a word with numbers, and the other is just a word. i entered both, and was told they were incorrect. i'm stumped. am i going to have to start a new account? is there a way to change the password and still get my mail? would someone please help me out? thanks in advance to anyone who does.

Well, then maybe Mail is corrupted, so let's try to fix that. You'll need:
1. your Mac OS X installation disc.
2. a copy of Pacifist.
3. confidence and patience.
First, quit Mail, go to Users/your username/Library/ and copy the Mail folder to your Desktop; then download Pacifist using the link above.
Next, insert your Mac OS X installation disc, open it with Pacifist and browse the contents of the Optional Installs folder until you find the installer package for Mail, then open that Mail package.
Select the top-level of that package in the Pacifist file listing and click on the Extract button in Pacifist and choose your Desktop for the destination. When that is finished, move the newly extracted copy of Mail to your HD/Applications folder. Choose "Replace" when it tells you there's already a newer or older file there with the same name.
Quit Pacifist, open System Preferences and use Disk Utility to Repair Permissions; then quit System Preferences, logout and log back in, then try starting Mail and see if that resolves your problem.

I created a sales order which got split into 3 deliveries and upon pgi looks like 2 of the deliveries when to the incomplete billing due list with an error "Billing due list item for transaction ****** is blocked by user R3USER" . I see only delivery made it to the billing due list. Has anyone seen this error before if yes can you get me some incite on this pelase.

Hi Divya,
first thing you can go to SM13 to see the reason for the update terminate. If you think the info provided there is something technical then you resort for an abapers help. Before that if you want analyse in another way why its happening take that invoice number which throws update terminate. Go to VF01 and try to do the invoice individually. Please check if it gives any error log and you may get more info.

Help with two phones on one Apple ID.

My step father put his iPhone on my Apple ID. Now he's getting all my emails and my apps that I download. It doesn't matter how many times I turn off the settings, it always happens. Is there a way to permanently fix this? I don't like the fact that he is seeing what I do. It is to the point where I just want to create a new Apple ID for me because he refuses to make one. If I do that, is there a way to keep everything that I've bought?

Your father-in-law needs his own Apple ID for iTunes, iMessage, FaceTime & iCloud.
The Apple ID needs to be a verified email address. Once you have an email address, that can be verified, go here & create the ID:

Then on his phone, turn off Contacts, Calendars, etc. for iCloud. You'll be prompted to keep the data or delete it from the phone, then turn off iMessage, FaceTime & delete the iCloud account...Settings>iCloud...scroll down...delete account. Then, setup iCloud using the new Apple ID, turn on iMessage & Facetime.
For the iTunes/App store: Settings>iTunes/App Store...tap your ID, sign out, now sign back in with the new ID.
He'll be on his own from this point on.

Verizon KEEPS telling me I can't with this plan. I have been on this plan for 12 years and want to keep it.
