You should be able to reset it using the instructions on the page that you posted. If when you connect it to your computer's iTunes you get a prompt to enter the passcode, then use the instructions in the second half of that page, under the 'If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer' heading

when I try to connect my Ipad mini to any network, The message is: "Unable to join the network". do you have the same problem?Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

As stated, I got an i7 2010 model in january, and the new iMacs just came out. Is there some kind of buy back program with apple? If not :/ . Anybody have ideas? (I also noticed the new maxed out is cheaper than the 2010s). Thanks everyone!
There's no buy back programme I've ever heard of.
The i7 you've got is still a pretty potent machine - does it do everything you want or do you need something that the new iMac's offer.

My iPad mini ran out of battery yesterday and now won't turn on at all. How do I resolve this?
When the battery goes flat it can 15 to 20 minutes of charging to then be able to get a response from it, but if you've charged it for longer than that they it should have picked up some charge. Have you got a different charger or cable that you could try just in case there is a problem with either of those - an iPhone or iPod charger will work with the iPad, but as they are lower power will take longer.

Yes they are the same, only if you sync to a computer.
So you could sync the iPad mini to a Mac, and back up the apps to the Mac.
Then plug the iPad Air into the Mac (after) and sync the apps from iTunes onto the iPad Air.
This will work.
I have even done this with universal apps from my iPad to iPhone and Viseversa.
You only ever need to download one version of the app. -
Tried to restore my iPad mini that wouldn't turn on and now it wont do anything.
I was trying to update an app and it wouldn't update so I restarted my iPad mini. Well when I restarted my iPad it would only load to the apple screen and then nothing would happen. I came on here to see someone said to restore the iPad mini and it gave me steps on how to restore it so I folowed them and it was all going well. Well after the first attempt it hadn't been restored yet so I went to do it again but it never showed the iTunes screen but it would show the apple sometimes. I was tired of trying because it was getting very late and I wanted to sleep so I just set it down. This morning I wanted to try again because this iPad mini was very essential to my everyday life and now I can't get it to do anything. When I plug it in the computer the computer doesn't even say anyhting and I honestly don't know what to do. I spent too much money on this when it came out for it to break because it couldn't start up.

1) Where did you get the iPhone? If you bought it used, it may be left over from the prevous user.
2) Do you have a computer?
If yes, does it have iTunes on it?

Hi Mark, I have lightroom and Photoshop CS6 and worked with it with my old camera, Canon 60D and had no problem
now I got me a new one, Canon 5D Mark iii and I can import the images into lightroom but I can't not send it from lightroom to photoshop. Also tried to drag and drop the picture image directly into photoshop but it wouldn't allow me to do so.

tried reinstallling app - no luck - same problem...I have an update to my message posted yesterday regarding Firefox crash after vista update. Today it got worse when Firefox wouldn't open at all and Windows explorer also stopped working. Curiously, email was still working, and when I checked another (little used) account on the same PC, I got a perfect connection with Firefox and Explorer. I had to conclude that the latest updates of Vista have interacted with some application only found in my main account on the PC. I tried opening Firefox in its safe mode and I tried opening explorer without Plug ins, but neither worked. Finally I decided the only answer was to do a system restore and wind back the windows software to where it was before the problem. I now have Firefox and explorer restored to working order, but I still don't understand why, because I got a message saying the system restore hasn't worked. Full Comprehension of the cause is beyond my capability, but through trial and error as described above I seem to have fixed it. The suspect vista updates are KB2505189 , and KB2524375.

My iPad suddenly started displaying "searching" up in the top left corner of the screen and the wifi symbol is next to it and I am connected to the wifi. Prior to last weekend it used to display Verizon and everything was fine. After about 2-5 minutes the iPad suddenly reboots itself. Can anyone assist with this. Thank you
Have you tried rebooting the iPad?
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds). No data will be lost.
