need to know if i can upload my ipod to itunes library with out losing any of the music...my computer crashed a couple of months ago and i lost all my itunes stuff...
The sync is one way - computer to ipod. The exception is itunes purchases: File>Transfer Purchases
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to put everything back.

Hi! My hard drive crashed on my lap top a few months ago, and they were not able to resore my itunes. Does anyone know how to reconnect the ipod to itunes to restore the library without losing what's already on the ipod?

i had iweb on my last computer - bought a new 2013 macbook pro a few months ago and it's gone. I have a webpage I build on it and now I need to get back in to update it. Help.
Well of course you won't have iWeb on a new MacBook from this year. iWeb has not shipped on new Macs for a long time now and Apple has not sold iLife through its stores or online for over a year and does not support iWeb any longer.
If you want iWeb now, you will either need to purchase a new copy of iLife or try and find the old install discs from your old Mac and re-install iWeb from that disc. It also depends on what iWeb version you were using too - iWeb 08 or 09? If 08, then this is not compatible with Mavericks which will be running on a new Mac, so you'll need iWeb 09 for this. If you can find your old install discs and they are iWeb 09 then go ahead and use these, but if not, you will have to purchase the iLife 09 or 11 boxed set from Amazon and both of these contain iWeb 09 and you can then install it.
Also, when you set up your new Mac, did you migrate info over? If you had built a website on your old Mac, then you need to data file where all iWeb info is stored and that is called your domain.sites file and you need this file to be transferred if you want your website back again.
Can you get access to thhis file on your old Mac and transfer it? If you can then fine, you can access your website again, but if not, you are out of luck and you'll have to re-build your website from scratch using iWeb.
If you don't have iWeb, then now might be a good time to move forward and look at the many alternatives that are out there such as RapidWeaver, Sandvox, and EverWeb which is billed as an iWeb replacement and is very much like iWeb, but with SEO and the ability to create drop down menus built in (check out http://www.everwebapp.com). Other alternatives also include Flux 4, Freeway Pro and Express and WebAcapella 4.
Have a look and most of these allow you to download free trials so you can try before you buy. -
My PC crashed about 3 months ago and I managed to find an online chat support link. The staff there were very helpful and enabled me ro redownload against my original order. But I can't find the chat help again. Does anyone know where I can redownload against my original order, or have a link to online chat? I have the original order number and the product keys for premier elements and photoshop elements.

MichaelThanks for that, Ned! In the meantime I have found the original download on my computer (splitting the hard drive really does pay). Interestingly, the program I now have isn't as advanced as the one I originally had. Some functions just don't appear. Originally, I had 2 product keys, I guess one for elements and one for elements premier. I'm guessing I now only have elements. Does anyone know what the difference is between elements and elements premier? And since I clicked on set up I wonder why the program only set up a lesser version. And now I need to find a way of downloading premier separately, if that's even possible.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

I got a mac a few months ago and a few weeks ago I began to get mackeeper ads popping up in a different screen. Now it s getting worse and happening almost every time I click on something, and there s even more variety of what websites pop up. Now I have pop ups on the actual website I m on and they pop up every time I click something. It s really obnoxious and I hate it. How can I get rid of this....? I bought the Adobe student version of Photoshop and Premiere Elements a few months ago - and now I am trying to use it, and the serial number that I have is incorrect - or it is only the registration number or something? It says I should have been sent an email with the serial number once the product was registered - But I never received this email. If I were you I would first make sure CS6 was deactivated or signed-out. Then download Adobe's cleaner and remove cc, CS6 and any other creative application installed including Creative Cloud desktop application. Then install CS6 and use your CS6 serial number during the install to activate CS6 standard or extended which ever the serial number is for. CS6 Version 13.0 should the be activated. That level of CS6 is extremely bug ridden so be sure to the use CS6 menu Help>Updates to get CS6 updates. Windows should update to version 13.0.1.3 Mac to version 13.0.6. Not Subscription CS6 version 13.1.2...

No. Apple won't do anything without a court order. Since it wasn't upgraded to iOS 7 before it was stolen then there's nothing you can do. You could file a police report with your serial number but there may be a small chance.

This issue can be caused by a corrupt local snapshot index. The procedure below will temporarily disable local snapshots and force the index to be rebuilt.
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:

Drag or copy — do not type — the following line into the Terminal window, then press return:
sudo tmutil disablelocal
You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command.
To re-enable:

Have an iphone 5c 8g. The home button has stopped working. Did the same a few months ago and recovered 24hrs later. Can anyone explain this problem. Phone still in warranty. Had steam issue recently but this was after last home button episode and no evidence of damage.
If you are playing in hockey arenas a lot or if you are bringing it into bathroom same time as shower it may not seem like much but overtime the steam can acquire and build up in the phones usb dock flex cable swell as the home button flex cable. Bring again into apple store and should be covered under warranty again. could also be a delay in a 8gb 5c software may just be very lag.
