How do I transfer music from my ipod to my PC without being able to access the old laptop which the ipod was previously synced to? My old laptop broke, and I want to sync my music and add everything to my new laptop, but if I try to sync my ipod with my new computer it says it is going to delete all my music. I tried looking at the apple help pages, and it said: First attach your ipod to the computer you want to disconnect from. Not possible in this case. What can I do?

I have lost all my music and the itunes application from my computer and it was not backed up. The music is on my ipod classic but I'm worried I will not be able to add more onto it without the original itunes folder containing my music files. Won't it wipe over the stored tunes on the ipod if I sync the new itunes program containing only the new music I want to add?.

There are several ways you can pull the music off your iPod and onto iTunes.
There is a very direct method, which I personally prefer, but there are also numerous third party applications, which will help you accomplish the task as well. The link below provides step-by-step instructions for the direct method as well as a few third party applications if you choose to go that route instead.

iTunes includes an option to transfer iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store from an iPod, iPad, and iPhone, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store only.
First you need to authorize your new computer with your iTunes account with iTunes if you haven't already done so.
With your iPhone connected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
